The best restaurants in Clare

30/10/2025: A truly disappointing experience. The place has a general sense of neglect, both in terms of its ambiance and atmosphere. When I visited, there were some customers who were clearly intoxicated, and unpleasant odors made it difficult to even remain seated. We ordered two Hive coffees, paying €19 for them, a decidedly excessive price for the quality and the setting. The barista also seemed rather listless and inattentive to the customer. Overall, a place I don't recommend and wouldn't return to.

05/12/2025: Excellent efficient and great quality food and service. Cant believe we haven't tried before. Highly recommended!

08/11/2025: Ordered take out with the app Just Eat. Food is great, time was correct for delivery. Prices were fair. Pizza is good.

17/10/2025: What a hidden gem! Kate and the staff were fantastic from the moment we arrived (past check-in time) to the moment we left. We, unfortunately, had no luggage as it was not put on our flight from Glasgow. Kate went out of her way to make us feel as comfortable as possible given the situation. We had to alter our original plans of hiking (due to lack of clothes/gear) and Kate spent a considerable amount of time giving us suggestions for an alternate plan. We took her recommendations and were able to enjoy many sights and delicious foods and a great ferry trip to our next destination. The breakfast at Wild Honey was Absolutely Divine!! One of the best breakfasts we had over our 13 day trip. Such a great experience and we will be returning! Thank you Kate!

14/08/2025: Literally the worst place on earth. They treat their staff like scum and keep insulting them and dragging them down. They are very unfriendly and inwould not recommend to even visit them

21/08/2025: Good with a view. Right next golf course and lovely view of sea. Food was amazing n staff are very friendly. My wife tried vegetarian option. I would surely visit them again if I’m in Kilkee again.

29/11/2025: Ordered a home delivery from Remix Pizza, and it was excellent! The delivery was quick, the food arrived hot, and everything tasted delicious. Great quality, definitely ordering again.

28/11/2025: Was with my wife and kids ordered over the phone picked it up no problems went home and checked them and they Got the food wrong i went into the shop and spoke with a a manager they said it was my fault it was wrong even though my wife heard the whole call and said what i said was true and they got it wrong he was a horrible man he was basically shouting at me when it was them they got it wrong horrible visit never coming back again and I'd recommend you to do the same also horrible pricing 15 euro now for a kebab meal i miss the way it used to be with the old owners.

13/12/2025: Young Irish man serving was very polite, chef had an attitude problem, I asked him 3 times to pass me two sachets of butter and he ignored request repeatedly , when I reached to get the butter myself he quoted “you’ll get your butter when I’m not busy “, food very good though.

20/11/2025: Best pizza outside of Italy I've had. I travel a lot and got diverted to Shannon, but must say every cloud has a silver lining.

08/11/2025: Staff here are so lovely. I spilled a scalding cup of tea on myself and one of the staff members helped me clean it up, gave me burn cream for my hand, and gave me a fresh cup of tea. She was so kind about it all and so helpful. Made a bad situation much better.

05/10/2025: Food was shocking. The chips were like eating hard rocks and just so unappealing, made me feel sick. I won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend.

26/09/2025: It saddens me to write this review. Haven’t been to Enzos in quite a while, in many ways Enzos is an Ennis institution, that as a child growing up, a bag of chips from there was a treat to behold. What I got last night was truly woeful. The chips were hard, almost as if they had been refried several times to keep them hot. They were like pieces of wooden sticks that were served. Enzos used to have the most wonderful chips, but not anymore. Almost a first for me, I didn’t finish the served portion. It was part of a meal deal. The burger was just passable to eat, well below any average burger that I have ever had. Also got a curry sauce, again just passable, on the watery side, not to our taste. The can of coke was good!! Overall, the comment was from my friend was, “Jesus, that was bad” Disappointing to see how poorly they have become.

16/08/2025: Absolutely delicious, pranw korma and pizzas were unreal and wifes veggie kebab was absolutely rich and fresh also delicious. Perfect for cheat day and they looked after me. They forgot the can for the take away but is ok.

10/08/2025: Ordered a takeaway from this place tonight. The food is pathetic. Ordered 2 chapattis but we got 2 naan instead. The king prawn masala and chicken masala was disgusting. The amount the colour added made the gravy appear reddish pink (pic attached) and it tasted more like a dessert....it was so so so sweet that we could not eat beyond 1 spoon. I would recommend you starve yourself than eat at this place and waste your money.

16/07/2025: I seen all the reviews and booked 1 night stay, unfortunately I didn’t get good experience . Welcoming people but need to be professional . Long wait for breakfast though we booked for a slot night before. But good breakfast! It’s just personal experience depending on how we expect things to be. Generally, not feel good environment to me . Sorry to write this.

15/06/2025: Everything is clean, cozy like home and quiet. Free parking, delicious and hearty traditional Irish breakfast. Incredibly nice hostess!

29/08/2025: Ordered a king prawn chow mein, Was bland, tasteless, no salt it was difficult to eat, The munch box should be renamed to a chip box as it contained practically no chicken, Curry was horrible. The kid behind the counter was lovely, proper gent. But the food itself isn't worth it, was my first time coming here and it'll be my last. Proper lazily prepared food.
