02/03/2025: The food is just terrible, you can’t eat and cook in the rooms, there are no refrigerators and microwaves, the chef does not allow you to take something from the kitchen to the room. This is only a kitchen, I am silent for the rest.

04/01/2025: Nice hotel but it's a pity they don't offer cooking.

07/07/2025: This is not a 4 star hotel. We stayed here for two nights - the first night our bed was not even made (you may think this is not true) the duvet cover was not on the duvet. I was told the next morning, I as lying about, however I have photos. The receptionist was less then friendly when I approached him about it and he made out I was not telling the truth. This is not a 4 star hotel - do not waste your money

02/07/2025: We celebrated a 40th birthday, 6 girls and we couldnt have been happier with our stay. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the hotel Manager was wonderful and would highly recommend. We'll be back!!!

24/09/2024: We had a great stay at Grovemount House. Our room was large and spacious with incredible views of the sunset. We loved hearing the cows in the pasture in the evening. It is close to lots of attractions and the towns of Ennistimon and Lehinch for shopping and restaurants. The hosts were the nicest people we have ever met. We highly recommend staying here if you are in the area.

08/08/2024: A disappointment. From the outside the place wouldn't be bad either, unfortunately the inside is all very old from the rooms to the bathrooms to the furnishings without even breakfast. Definitely expensive. The property is now for sale

29/03/2025: Dinner ruined. Such a disappointing food. Bland and soggy food with no flavors at all. Tried for first time, Food Binned and never going back.

15/05/2025: Came over from England and was told this was the best chinese in the area, me and My partner really enjoy a Chinese so was really looking forward to this. We got the beef in black bean sauce, spring rolls, chips, chilli garlic prawn with veg and wontons. Unfortunately it was not up to par, the beef was way to strong and the other bits just didn't have enough flavour very average takeaway. Considering we payed €28 we weren't impressed!

15/05/2025: We got a take away before during the week that was delicious but this last one was on a busy saturday night and fell short of nice the duck with the pancakes were over cooked and hard to chew , disappointing.

10/05/2025: First of all i ordered a kebab tray, i specifically asked for chips instead of naan bread and no chilli, i also asked for a chicken goujon wrap, he looked at me and said no problem sir and i paid for my food looking forward to eating it, i waited not too long, received my food, then ordered a tub of garlic and curry sauce, i received my garlic sauce and what i can only describe as brown water, i looked to my friend in disbelief, we got back to the house, opened our food and the smell hit us, not a very apetising odur to say the least, my kebab tray with chips instead of naan bread was just a kebab with naan bread no chips, my wrap looked decent... until i bit into it, i instantly put it down, the garlic sauce was pungeant and not in a good way, the kicker of this review is the best part of my meal was the one thing i specifically did not want which was the naan bread.

15/06/2025: I did not have a good experience here this evening. I visited here with friends, and there was a wedding party who were stuck up and just awful, this place is up a back alley by the way… We came out for a while, and were not allowed back in by the door staff, the wedding party clearly took preference. …cheap and cheerful. Not my cup of tea, I will not be returning here.

24/06/2025: I ordered the vip treat for two and the medium pizza was burnt and the crusts were crumbled and underneath the pizza was raw dough and also the chicken wings and strips were not cooked properly

18/06/2025: I came all the way from Canada to visit and I found this takeout while walking around and I was quite delighted at the cheap prices and good quality food

08/06/2025: What sort of chipper doesn’t have salt and vinegar that will tell you everything you need to know about this place. Battered sausage was disgusting and onion rings are powder and batter not onion. Save your money and don’t eat here! Chips not good

16/07/2025: I seen all the reviews and booked 1 night stay, unfortunately I didn’t get good experience . Welcoming people but need to be professional . Long wait for breakfast though we booked for a slot night before. But good breakfast! It’s just personal experience depending on how we expect things to be. Generally, not feel good environment to me . Sorry to write this.

15/06/2025: Everything is clean, cozy like home and quiet. Free parking, delicious and hearty traditional Irish breakfast. Incredibly nice hostess!
