28/10/2024: I'm sorry, but that's terrible. The chicken is tough, the sauce that is listed as sweet and sour is impossibly sour. Very disappointed, out of four people, no one liked it. Waste of money

09/12/2024: Three of us were out for a celebratory lunch at Monks. We had the prawns and chowder to start. The prawns were cooked to perfection and were quite flavoursome. The chowder contained plenty of fresh fish and was seasoned correctly. For our main, we ordered the seafood platter and it was just exquisite. Everything was so fresh and cooked perfectly. We noticed how warm and cosy the restaurant was.....even the rest rooms were warm. There was a lovely stove fire burning which made us forget the fact that storm Darragh was looming.....The accommodation looks really nice also, and we are even making plans to return for an overnight stay with our canine buddies! I highly recommend Monks, a beautiful experience awaits! Annie, Co. Galway

08/12/2024: Monk's delivers expertly on two levels. First, they are a fantastic restaurant, featuring some of the best seafood you will find anywhere. Second, they have that cozy feel of an authentic Irish pub. The restaurant is light and airy, with several open spaces in which to dine. We enjoyed great customer service as well. Monk's is a true winner!

15/01/2025: The food is really good. We got curry so we'll as kebabs and the portions were huge. A good addition to the food scene in youghal.

23/02/2025: Hello dear people. I was in the McDonalds Peniis in the mart, and I found a cooking strip in the triple devker cheseburger.

02/06/2024: Although they have the business still open on google, they've closed down! We took a detour to get food here, but all was not lost, we found a place called Brogans in the end and had the most amazing food!

08/12/2024: My son wanted to go in , they will be seeing a lot of us , doner kebab amazing , chicken great , chips hand made , very clean , lads great , can't say enough 😀 Really enjoyed!

24/09/2024: We had a great stay at Grovemount House. Our room was large and spacious with incredible views of the sunset. We loved hearing the cows in the pasture in the evening. It is close to lots of attractions and the towns of Ennistimon and Lehinch for shopping and restaurants. The hosts were the nicest people we have ever met. We highly recommend staying here if you are in the area.

08/08/2024: A disappointment. From the outside the place wouldn't be bad either, unfortunately the inside is all very old from the rooms to the bathrooms to the furnishings without even breakfast. Definitely expensive. The property is now for sale

13/10/2024: Rude ignorant staff serving “locals only” Not surprised either, place that looks like a dump = acts like a dump. Zero stars Avoid *EDIT - in response. My pleasure :-) Refusal to purchase a drink / food in your wonderful establishment but serving “locals only” at 2pm in the afternoon is the first experience I’ve had in Ireland so don’t compare yourselves to every town in Ireland when that’s simply not true. You are welcome to experience true hospitality in Kerry anytime, it seems ye are lacking the concept.

But let's be honest.Is pre- prepared, greasy garbage what you really want?Don't we get enough of that in Shannon to be fair? What TownCenter needs is a GOOD CHIPY...Something that makes two things well..BURGERS & FRIED FRESH COD WITH CHIPS THAT ARE CRISPY ON THE OUTSIDE AND FLUFFY ON THE INSIDE.Whoever does that will get rich overnight.

14/01/2025: Absolutely best cod always at Coffeys. Wife raves about their scampi. It’s a bit expensive but quality makes up for that. I’m glad I live forty kilometres, round trip, from them so it’s always a treat and never disappointes. Keep up the great work.

13/03/2025: Just want to say myself and 8 lads from Manchester stayed last week from Fri to Monday, some of the bad reviews this hotel is getting is wrong I honestly can say this is a great place to stay the rooms were spotless, beds clean and comfy with all u need iron etc towels, shower gel And the breakfast was unreal loads of choice and was presented in a lovely way The staff were very friendly, and accomadating, the only little down side was the disco was a little loud but to be fair they do tell you that We will defo be back again also in a great location as well for pubs restaurants etc Thank you all to the Queens hotel

12/03/2025: Excellent location. Rooms were clean but cold, no mirror in room or hairdryer. Reception staff very friendly. It was noisy until early hours but Hotel advised prior to our visit that would be the case.
