The best restaurants in Clare

17/10/2025: What a hidden gem! Kate and the staff were fantastic from the moment we arrived (past check-in time) to the moment we left. We, unfortunately, had no luggage as it was not put on our flight from Glasgow. Kate went out of her way to make us feel as comfortable as possible given the situation. We had to alter our original plans of hiking (due to lack of clothes/gear) and Kate spent a considerable amount of time giving us suggestions for an alternate plan. We took her recommendations and were able to enjoy many sights and delicious foods and a great ferry trip to our next destination. The breakfast at Wild Honey was Absolutely Divine!! One of the best breakfasts we had over our 13 day trip. Such a great experience and we will be returning! Thank you Kate!

14/08/2025: Literally the worst place on earth. They treat their staff like scum and keep insulting them and dragging them down. They are very unfriendly and inwould not recommend to even visit them

22/06/2026: The worst experience one could ask for. The staff is too rude and doesn’t accept feedback. Ate-in and also ordered a take-away after confirming how the dish is prepared. When i opened the box of my take-away food, I was surprised to see that the food didn’t look like how the staff told me it is prepared. When asked, he said they prepare food differently for take-aways than how they do it for dine in. Ordered a drink for take-away, astonishingly, the drink was not given in a disposable glass but in a tin foil box. When asked, the guy said there’s a straw to drink from it. Seriously?! Tulsi restaurant, is this how you treat your guests? And when confronted, you tell people not to argue when all I did was share my displeasure about the food. You guys really need to up your game if you want to survive as an Indian restaurant run by people who know nothing about Indian culture, food and hospitality. We treat our guests like Gods while your staff makes sure they never come back.

05/06/2026: Near Doolin. Restaurant and pub on sight with live nightly music. Not much parking but we managed. Breakfast included

09/05/2026: Fabulous traditional music at the bar, the highlight of my trip to Ireland. We saw a guitar and piano player and singer playing with another singer who had a beautiful, expressive voice. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious, fresh and healthy. Excellent staff, friendly and helpful, including with dietary requirements at breakfast. Great location near the Burren and the Cliffs of Moher.

13/07/2026: Small,uncomfortable double bed,loud fan outside the window...going all night,room very basic .However....breakfast was excellent......would not stay here again

22/05/2026: DO NOT STAY HERE!!! - it wasn't worth €1 - the TV didn't work, the sink stopper was blocked so I had to clean my teeth in the toilet, the window was facing a wall and couldn't be opened, the door also didn't open, maintenance had to fix it & I had to be let out - we were travelling for work on a wednesday night and the disco went on below until 4am - it was unhygienic & unsafe. The rooms they advertise are from a different hotel - the rooms in the hotel are grubby & outdated

15/03/2026: I went back with my sandwich cause the bread was too hard. They changed it for me no questions asked and when I get home to open it they gave me 3 cookies. Excellent customer service!!! Thanks guys

27/05/2026: I ordered a burger and a kebab without spicy sauce for home delivery. Both the order and the receipt clearly stated “no spicy sauce,” but the kebab arrived with spicy sauce anyway. I went to REMIX PIZZA and returned it, but they neither gave me a new one nor refunded my money. I do not recommend this place.

01/08/2026: Worst spice bag I’ve ever had, there was literally no chicken just the breading off the chicken and the chips were cremated too and had absolutely no flavour, never left a review for bad food but this was disgraceful, €10 aswell for a spice bag which is overpriced compared to a lot of places

12/07/2026: Only chinese in the area around Spanish Point and the Milltown, it’s a bit of a gamble with their food, if you order rice and spice bags, you’ll be safe, you get a good portion of chips and chicken. However, their other food has given family and friend food poisoning multiple times. The food is often cold when collected too.

27/04/2026: The absolute worst in take away food. Ordered a cheeseburger for the child and he took one bite and said it was disgusting. In an attempt to convince him that it was ok I tried it myself and to be fair- he was spot on. Rubbery, dry beef with cheap, vinegary ketchup and a dry bun. I feel sorry for the bin that it went into. Was told it would be ready in 10 mins.... was more like 25. On top of all that- they dont take card payment!!!! What kind of establishment doesnt accept card payment in 2026. A very dodgy one.

25/04/2026: Mixed order up three times . Wanted a doner tray with doner meat chips and curry and got rashers in it . Went back got cheese in it. Third time got a battered sausage. So sitting here just eating it very disappointed.

12/06/2026: Item missing from order promised a refund for missing item. 2 to 3 days to be refunded 5 days later still no refund. This time tried customer service promised someone would be in touch within 5 days. A week later still no contact. Nearly 2 weeks and still no refund or contact from anyone. A true measure of a business is not when everything is right but when something goes wrong how it's dealt with. With Dominos it seems they will do absolutely nothing. I won't be going back again if this is how they treat customers.
