29/08/2025: The service was excellent. Very friendly and not too intrusive. The food was delicious and plentiful. I would have liked to try dessert, but there wasn't enough room.

19/08/2025: Food was average at best. There were flies flying around the table and food throughout the meal. I told this directly to the waitress, who I guess pretended not to hear me?? Continued to battle flies the whole meal. We ordered mushroom risotto, said on the menu comes with spinach, came covered in arugula. We had four separate waiters/waitresses, which is ridiculous as it is, not one came to the table after our food was delivered. So we couldn’t even mention this to the staff. What an embarrassing display of customer service. Don’t come to this restaurant.

15/02/2025: Ok..look as substandard food goes it's definitely what you're looking for. But let's be honest.Is pre- prepared, greasy garbage what you really want?Don't we get enough of that in Shannon to be fair? What TownCenter needs is a GOOD CHIPY...Something that makes two things well..BURGERS & FRIED FRESH COD WITH CHIPS THAT ARE CRISPY ON THE OUTSIDE AND FLUFFY ON THE INSIDE.Whoever does that will get rich overnight.

19/08/2025: Very disappointing experience at Vagabond. We ended leaving after 45 minutes with no food and only a single tea having been served to the table. There was a single girl running the place, and she was clearly stressed to bits. She never stopped, was constantly rushing from table to table, taking orders, delivering food and drinks, and making the coffees, all by herself. Whoever made the decision for the entire front-of-house to be staffed by a single person (at lunch time, in August, in one of the biggest tourist hotspots of the west coast) bears full responsibility for this negative experience.

17/08/2025: Very standoffish waiting staff, food was acceptable but bland. Only time I've decided to take my tip off the table when leaving.

I visited here with friends, and there was a wedding party who were stuck up and just awful, this place is up a back alley by the way… We came out for a while, and were not allowed back in by the door staff, the wedding party clearly took preference. …cheap and cheerful. Not my cup of tea, I will not be returning here.

05/08/2025: My wife and I dined here and ordered two battered fish (hake) and chips. The batter was very thick and gooey -it seemed very undercooked. The fish was not fresh with a tough dry texture. We mentioned this to the staff and they came over with a temperature probe and stuck in in the fish right in front of us. They said it was cool but was probably at the right temperature when they served it. They however agreed to take it away. They then bought the same piece back saying they re-fried it, but it really was no better. They also gave us a small piece of battered cod to try but this was even worse; it was very dry, chewy and salty - clearly not fresh. Other reviews of this restaurant are good, so I'm not sure what went wrong this time.

10/08/2025: Ordered a takeaway from this place tonight. The food is pathetic. Ordered 2 chapattis but we got 2 naan instead. The king prawn masala and chicken masala was disgusting. The amount the colour added made the gravy appear reddish pink (pic attached) and it tasted more like a dessert....it was so so so sweet that we could not eat beyond 1 spoon. I would recommend you starve yourself than eat at this place and waste your money.

28/06/2025: Ordered Saag Aloo and it was terrible, rice was dry. And the food itself tasted old. On top of that, there were multiple hairs in my food. Normally I would get the korma and it’s nice, but not today.

05/05/2025: Best Chinese food I've had in Ireland! The price and the amount of food was just right! I would recommend!

29/03/2025: Dinner ruined. Such a disappointing food. Bland and soggy food with no flavors at all. Tried for first time, Food Binned and never going back.

08/10/2024: The plaice for me has got bad as a result they have closed 1 bar, stopped serving food although a Chinese restaurant is taking over the unused bar at the end of November 24
