27/06/2026: Very nice service, food completely average (wouldn't go back)

21/06/2026: The food arrived quickly and the service was friendly. The dishes were tasty, though not very generous. The dining room was rather basic and not very heated.

08/04/2026: I asked for fresh fish, and it very clearly wasn’t. There was the thinnest piece of fish and it was mostly batter the whole way through so in the end wss totally inedible to me. The chips were ok. Ordered some chicken goujons which were the only redeeming part. I started to read the reviews after I had ordered - so I regretted my decision fairy fast!

28/07/2026: had 30 minutes wait before the bus arrived and I needed food. Ordered and has pizza within 10-15 minutes. Marinara pizza was AMAZING! the gentleman making the pizza made sure no milk or eggs allergy and that it was safe for me to eat. B est pizza I have had in a very long time!

28/05/2026: I asked for a side salad and i got a big chunck of cowslaw and a bit of lettuce and a sandwish comes with 2 slices of bread and not 3 so next time use only 2 slices.

16/05/2026: While staying in the area we visited the Irish arms once for lunch and next day for dinner while the food was good the service from one of the barmen was absolutely appauling. Everything was a bother. It was like we shouldn't have came in and God forbid ask for a drink that really was asking too much never encountered a more rude and unwelcoming attitude from a barman .Wish l had spent my money elsewhere.

26/04/2026: We stopped in here on our way back from the Cliffs of Mohrer to get a bite to eat. After two weeks, one in Ireland and one in Amsterdam, this was THE best meal I had!!! I had the roast of the day - turkey and ham - mashed potatoes and veggies with cabbage! My friend had the Guinness stew and said it was great!

10/04/2026: I had a fantastic experience at Supermac’s tonight. Sylvia and Sonjee (apologies if I’ve misspelled the name!) delivered absolutely brilliant customer service friendly, efficient, and genuinely welcoming. The food was especially delicious, and everything was handled quickly and smoothly. It’s clear they run a really strong team and take pride in what they do.

02/11/2025: Nice cheap stay with friends. Rooms are very decent size but do need upgrading, however are clean and comfortable. Staff are perhaps a little inexperienced but all very pleasant to deal with. Dining area was spacious and food was very good - great portions for dinner and breakfast was really delicious.

17/07/2026: So, I get to this place on a Tuesday night arriving at 21.50pm and it’s closed, Google said it’s supposed to close at 22.00 (10pm) my Car was urgently needing Diesel, and I went here so I can get the Cans and bottles return money off my Diesel, so I emailed Head office of Maxol with complaint, only for the General Manager email and included in the email was her claiming I acted inappropriately to female staff asking for their phone number, I wanted the Head. Office phone number not their personal number that accusation is wrong I am going to consider speaking to a solicitor!!!

21/06/2026: Wow! Just had Spice Temple food delivered again. Superb ! This is a wonderful treat for your taste buds guys ! Can't praise it highly enough!!!

29/03/2026: I wont evn like to give single star I had ordered the food online and this is pic of onion bajjiiii and biryani it tasted very bad and its burnt

24/05/2026: Room 29 is not suitable for guests. There was a heavy, stuffy smell in the room. Fortunately, the window could be opened to air it out. Unfortunately: the kitchen ventilation exhaust was located right in front of the window. Besides the smell of frying, it made quite a lot of noise. We asked for another room, but were assured that the kitchen would close at 8:00 PM and wouldn't reopen until 8:00 AM the next morning. Well, in practice, that was 9:45 PM and 6:30 AM (!). But even when the ventilation was off, things weren't right: the small terrace where guests or staff could smoke a cigarette or make a phone call was directly under our window. And unfortunately, this was done regularly at night as well. In short: refuse room 29. The hotel management really needs to do something about this; such an unsuitable room detracts from the entire stay. It is a real shame, because the location is good, the people are nice, and the breakfast is good.

12/05/2026: I would gladly give the food stars. My room was still awaiting renovation, but it was clean and we lacked nothing. A charming hotel, just as you'd expect in Ireland. Super friendly staff.

26/06/2026: Got a three in one and i asked for no veg and still gave it to me and went back in they took it out and gave me back the same one and I also said i don't want it spicey and still got it spicy can barely eat it my mouth was burning and after a hour my mouth is still sore and burning

05/05/2026: Historic building. Great location, to walk the streets and discover fun shops, restaurants, and pubs. Fantastic service! Decor is a bit sad and old.
