05/07/2025: Way too much butter. The fish is not crispy. The fish and the fries are literally butter flavored. I have no idea why this place is so highly rated.
I’m an American visiting Ireland. I’ve been to London and other parts of England and gotten excellent fish and chips. This is my first time getting it in Ireland and this place is an extreme disappointment

28/04/2025: This place was absolutely hopping when we arrived. Very popular with millennial and particularly hens and stag parties. It appears that they start at the farthest point and work their way in.
Everyone well behaved

21/07/2025: This little guesthouse is seriously gorgeous and the owner, Kate, is an absolute delight. She was full of great local recommendations and made my favorite breakfast I had on that trip. I would go back to Lisdoonvarna just to stay here. Honestly, I wish I could hire Kate to decorate my home, too - this place is so charming.
19/07/2025: It was mediocre at best. Yes it is a quaint Inn. However, there is nothing 4 star about this location. I’d rate it a solid 2-3 stars. It was really more of a B&B rather than a 4 star Inn. We will be returning to the area but not this Inn.

Toilets were clean.
Food was poor for the price. Burger was cheap supermarket frozen quality. Was similar for kids meals.
Would expect better at a chipper at 2am.

16/07/2025: Beautiful view and pleasant staff but disappointed with our meal. 2 fish and chips but the fries were overcooked, greasy and lacked seasoning on the fish.
15/07/2025: We stayed for four nights our room was clean and a lovely view of the ocean. The breakfast was excellent and we had beautiful pizza and fish and chips in the restaurant. The staff were very friendly I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

07/07/2025: The food was delicious and portions were large. The restaurant had a very beautiful setting - authentic decor and a lovely view of the sunset over the beach.

01/07/2025: It's an ok place, I find the decor terrible and needs a refresh. It has nice benches to sit outside in but the staff take ages to clear down the tables which attracts the crows.
06/02/2025: Popped in for some lunch between meetings. Moderately busy, so decided to order a toasty in the hope to have some food quickly. 25 mins later, cancelled the order as still no sign of our toast. Another 5 mins trying to get a refund. Still no sign of our food. I'd recommend looking elsewhere if you are visiting during busy times
