02/10/2025: My husband and I go there for our coffee which is great. I love my cuppachino. He also rates there Breakfast. We went on Sunday to have lunch. Got to meet the lovely owners Charmain and Emmet. Lovely people. Our lunch was great...Lamb cutlets with vegetables fresh...chips or mash. All the staff that work there are friendly and very nice.

11/09/2025: Either they upgraded our room without telling us, or the "small double" room is massive. We had a comfortable king size bed, lots of space for luggage, and a terrific bathroom with power shower head. Unfortunately some loud guests woke us up with their chatter in the hall around 6am, but that's on them!

25/07/2025: A timeless experience... literally. The hotel seems to have stopped at the end of the last century, frozen... Old-fashioned common room, period decor, minimal soundproofing, and that delicious feeling of having stepped into a poorly sealed space-time rift. The highlight? The single-glazed window, which offers the immense privilege of hearing the drunken songs of the neighboring pub, directly from your bed, until dawn. A wonder of every moment... for those who like to sleep little and travel back in time, with 2025 rates all the same!

14/02/2026: Went in here this evening to get a takeaway. Ordered at 5:30pm and it was confirmed to be done at 6.01pm. I know places can be delayed and have to wait a few minutes more but this was ridiculous. We were barely approached about how long our order was going to be after being told on the website it was ready. It was nearly an hour later and I had to go up to someone with all these orders on a table and ask what was going on and he said oh it’s here after I told him what we ordered. So it seemed it was just waiting on the table? No communication between staff falling all over each other and no apology for making us wait nearly an hour only a can of Fanta. I understand it’s valentines Day evening and busy but cut off takeaway for a bit if they can’t keep up The food was also not good, cold bland and thrown together after spending over €60 as well. Save yourself and go to the likes of Spice Temple, much better food and service. No impressed and will not being going back or recommend.

02/03/2026: I have never experienced such bad customer service like I did from one of the managers. Beyond that the rooms were dirty, accommodation staff clearly need more experience. And also be careful not to even breathe inside or you will be threatened with extra charges for “damages”. Wouldn’t call it a 4 star…

25/10/2025: The food was good, and the prices are reasonable. The quality of the food here seems a bit higher than other fast food options. If you have a larger group, there is an upstairs dining area (it was closed when I was there for dinner). My only real complaint was that the wait time for the food seemed a bit long. I believe I was waiting for about 20+ minutes, and there were people waiting for even more time that had already ordered before I arrived.

04/09/2025: Ordered Meat Sung and Chicken fried rice and waited about 10 minutes for food to be prepared; well worth the wait, both dishes freshly prepared and cooked, generous portions (large chunks of chicken) and delicious to eat; friendly staff - I will certainly be back again and recommend to family and friends, thank you
