03/09/2025: Proximity to Lahinch Golf Club and town pubs is a big part of what makes this place great. Rooms are small and dated. Thomas the proprietor is service-ortieted!! Stay here every time I go to Lahinch.

11/08/2025: We Absolutely loved the location right near the cliffs off moher Thomas is a good man breakfast was lovely rooms were comfortable 👌 highly recommended to all

22/07/2025: Got takeaway (as had dogs) on a visit to Ennis, otherwise would have sat in Food was delicious and tasted high quality, not too expensive but didn't taste cheap either - had 2 starters and 2 mains Loved the sauce that came with the spring rolls!

15/08/2025: I am soo not a McDonalds fan but if there is one thing to die for it is the raseberry and white chocolate pie. Yum, Updated August 15th - Friday feeling and I have found a new guilty pleasure - the bacon, egg and cheese roll with ketchup. Yummy. And hats off to staff member Safa - so natural and what a vibe. Lovely to meet you.

15/08/2025: Visited here for breakfast and very much needed cup of tea. No complaints, it was good.

26/04/2025: I can't judge the food, the service was good - but the four employees don't know much about good drinks. I had the worst espresso martini here. I also reported this, reaction...no. Too bad.

12/03/2025: Had a right good session with a nice crowd of locals who made me feel very welcome! What made it even better was that Ireland beat Wales! Very nice Guinness, super friendly staff, and lots of em, so barely a seconds wait at the bar. Good stuff, will be going back!

13/08/2025: El pub puede tener su gracia además de no tener otras muchas alternativas. No puedo opinar de otros platos porque solo hemos probado el roast-beef y es un plato, en lo que respecta a la carne, totalmente impresentable. Esperábamos una carne rosadita y nos han traído una carne guisada seca y muy hecha, de un sabor que recordaba la del cole con la hacías bola antes de tragar. Horrible! Ya he dicho que solo hemos probado este plato que figuraba como plato del día.

10/08/2025: We stopped in here to grab a lunch on our way to the cliffs of moher. Staff was very attentive, we were sat right away. Hubby ordered the Guinness stew and I had the fried shrimp with chips and coleslaw. Both items were good. Space is fairly large, looked like they were preparing for a wedding event.

22/03/2025: The Super Value grocery store is the main anchor. This one is smaller than others but they had most things I needed, and the staff is really friendly and helpful. There's also a pharmacy, cafe, and salon. The car park is small to service the grouping stores.

09/07/2025: Was a great pub. New management in the past few weeks (2025) has really brought it downhill. Bad atmosphere, and vodkas only after a certain time? What kind of pub does that?

11/09/2025: Either they upgraded our room without telling us, or the "small double" room is massive. We had a comfortable king size bed, lots of space for luggage, and a terrific bathroom with power shower head. Unfortunately some loud guests woke us up with their chatter in the hall around 6am, but that's on them!

25/07/2025: A timeless experience... literally. The hotel seems to have stopped at the end of the last century, frozen... Old-fashioned common room, period decor, minimal soundproofing, and that delicious feeling of having stepped into a poorly sealed space-time rift. The highlight? The single-glazed window, which offers the immense privilege of hearing the drunken songs of the neighboring pub, directly from your bed, until dawn. A wonder of every moment... for those who like to sleep little and travel back in time, with 2025 rates all the same!

29/08/2025: Got a takeaway from Tulsi this evening, second time recently. We had samosas and a balti. Delicious, so flavoursome. Got free popadoms with a lovely homemade mint sauce and onion. Service was great. Had to change the time of our order when plans changed and this was no problem.

22/08/2025: This restaurant is not INDIAN, the food is by far the worst I’ve had. It should not be categorized as Indian by any means, so I’m compelled to put this review here for my fellow Indians who are looking for Indian options around here. If you really want that experience head to Silver Oak (their food is “Indian” and yum). I actually feel bad for others who enjoy food there thinking that’s the epitome of our cuisine. (Wish I could tell them it’s not). The dal - Channa dal (no tadka just boiled lentil) Gobhi - boiled and swimming in turmeric water with Roti - I don’t think these ppl really know what roti it!! So I leave it there.

14/09/2025: Excellent hotel, we were stranded for over 14 hours in Shannon airport and the hotel was the closest available. We were met at 2:30am with a friendly night porter who checked us in and let us know it was okay to sleep in a little bit after check out time due to our circumstances of not sleeping for over 30 hours due to flight diversions and cancellations. Hotel beds are extremely comfy, rooms are cosy and clean. Also had a Sunday roast when I woke up which was amazing, all staff extremely friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend.

13/09/2025: Ate there on 2 occasions this week and the food and the presentation was shockingly bad ,ordered chicken goujons on Tuesday and was served 6 chicken dippers by them selves on a plate ,pretty sure they were bought at super valu in a bag and plated ,they were under cooked , Ate there again Thursday night and ordered the burger which was severed with open bun with a two slices of easy singles cheese on a normal bun which was suspose to be brioche and the burger was burnt on outside and under cooked on inside ,menu said severed with coleslaw which I never got ,asked staff for some onion and tomato ,I honestly would nt give the burger to a dog ,paid bill and said it to staff who were great and apologised ,the quality of food was so bad for what we paid and shocked it would be served like this in a hotel with such a good reputation

22/08/2025: Finally found some good Indian food around this area. Excellent staff and great food. The gentleman at the reception and the kind lady serving us were great hosts. (Sorry could catch their names). They keep little lanterns to keep you food hot while you eat and that’s a great touch. Loved the food!!

20/08/2025: We’ve been coming here regularly for the past few months and have never been disappointed. The service is always excellent and the food is divine. There’s a relaxed, calm atmosphere in the restaurant and we always enjoy our visits

02/06/2025: Decided to have dinner in this pub been under new management and I heard it was serving good food. Much disappointed with both of us served really over cooked chips we tried eating them but horrible plus way too much garlic butter in a sandwich. Bottled water left on tables very warm should be served cold when guests sit down. Disappointing. I wouldn't be rushing back. Staff prompt and efficient.

31/05/2025: Best of the best! When O’Donohues pub went under new management—it was by amazing folks who appreciate the unique charm and history of this pub. It’s still Fanore at its finest!! The food and service is consistently wonderful—we’re working our way through the menu—plenty of interesting, delicious options! The prices are an excellent value for top quality —not gratuitously inflated because of location. It’s worth a trip to Fanore just to eat here, and —on the way— see the breathtaking coastal views of R477 and the Wild Atlantic Way! Bravo, O’Donohues!!!

22/06/2025: Bless Cafe: A Blessing in Clare Some days you crave more than food, you crave a feeling. A little comfort, a touch of joy, a reminder that life is still full of lovely things. And then… you walk into Bless Café on a Sunday, and it’s all there. This colourful little haven is an absolute blessing for County Clare. Cheerful, cosy, and welcoming like a warm kitchen on a rainy day. The smell of coffee greets you like an old friend, the decor makes you smile, brings you positive energy, and every table invites you to slow down and just be. The menu is thoughtful and delicious: wholesome breakfasts, fresh ingredients, real flavour. And then, oh my… the muffins. Crusty on the outside, tender inside, loads of beautiful versions to die for. The best muffins in Ireland, hands down. But what truly makes this place shine are the two beautiful women who run it. Speaking with them is such a pleasure: open, kind, and full of light. One of them always seems to gift us a little something extra - a muffin, a kind word, a smile that lingers. It’s not just service, it’s care. It’s hard to explain what makes a café special. But when you find one, you just know. And Bless Café is exactly that: a small daily gift, a colourful hug, a gentle reminder that good places and good people still exist.

20/06/2025: Very nice decor. A mix of pastel and pop culture, very cute! I had an oat milk hot chocolate, very nice and I didn't have anything to eat but apparently the gluten free muffins are lovely. Staff are wonderful too!

28/07/2025: I only had dinner at the Ritz restaurant, and it was excellent! The food is very tasty and the staff very welcoming and attentive. Pleasant background music and beautiful decor. In short, a top restaurant!

24/07/2025: We stopped for lunch. The food wasn't worth much. The dishes were simple, seemingly frozen.
