18/09/2024: Great pub and friendly staff. One of the best pints of Guinness in town. Made feel very welcome by the red headed bar man

03/11/2024: Rude staff working at the drive thru. No thanks or goodbye, just slam the window in your face. Seems to be mostly kids working there that don't understand basic manners. The food was cold and the box of fries was half empty. Head office really needs to check on the Shannon location.

31/10/2024: Went in for breakfast. My daughter ordered pancakes, a McDonald's speciality. They had no syrup or butter but didn't mention it when they handed it over. She went to the counter as she thought they'd missed it out and they had none at all. What was the point? If she'd known she'd have ordered something else. Who eats dry pancakes? Disappointed.

14/06/2024: The jug really needs to be dumped, rusty inside and out. Has not been properly cleaned in a long time. Will not visit this place again.

04/06/2024: Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. This is what I got in my chips today. Never in my life have I seen a restaurant to give out dirt in chips. It's like the oil hadn't been cleaned in months

16/10/2024: Literally the most consistent restaurant in Ennis!! Dishes are always exactly the same - delicious, fresh and portion sizes are good :)

29/09/2024: Our dream trip to Ireland was topped off with this amazing traditional Irish Pub! We felt very much at home here and could have spent the day talking to the wonderful host! She was warm and welcoming... gave us great advice on where to go, and her special Irish cocktail is to die for! Definitely want to go back and get a photo with her and spend more time!! Thank you for a fantastic experience... a truly memorable and cherished one!

27/09/2024: A quaint hotel with the perfect Guinness pour!

19/08/2024: Stayed in Shamrock Inn Hotel with my wife, for 2 nights, 16/17 August 2024. Altogether positive experience of this delightful family run hotel !! Room was delightful and spotless, with a "secret " Bathroom -- slide the full size mirror, and there it is -- good size and spotless also ! Our vegetarian breakfasts were delicious and freshly cooked, and evening meals and desserts, first class !! We strongly recommend this hotel, and its always attentive, most pleasant and helpful staff - at all levels 😀!! We will most definitely return !! Thanks, everyone there, for a most enjoyable experience !!

01/10/2024: While we weren't eating as we had just eaten elsewhere, I couldn't resisit indulging in the Italian products to purchase. A wonderful selection of wine, and Italian speciality foods.

27/10/2024: Im only leaving a star so I can post a review. Left waiting for a bag of chips for 15 minutes until I ended leaving this hole without anything.. 5 customers came in after me and all left before me.. when the place was empty I was left standing there while the staff blatantly ignored me.. I had not been in this place in years none of the staff knows me my mind boggles to what the problem was.. here's hoping they do it to the wrong person and the place becomes a write off

17/09/2024: Never again, this review doesn't make a difference to the amount of people that go into this place. But for my own sake I just wouldn't waste my time with the special needs staff that work there or at least that's what I think they are considering the way they treat customers. The food tastes like road kill and the chips are average and sometimes they get the order right.

24/09/2024: Very pricy for supermarket . not a bit impressed with its layout, staff and the food management seem to have gone down since first opened it was value then and fantastic customer care. Now it blah 😕 No atmosphere from a beach side supermarket. Guys what has happened here this place use to be booming? nope would not go bk there again . it has pumped up prices as seaside near and that’s taking advantage of young families. Hate to be living here as I noticed local hotel has a lot of non nationals around and this sure seems too expensive for them to buy what’s needed. lidil would have done better or Aldi not a bit impressed however I did come across a lovely teller who was just so lovely and courteous especially to the elderly and young moms. He was a young student male. Shy but so courteous it gives me hope all isn’t lost.

19/11/2024: There is always something to say about how a restaurant makes customers feel when they enter. This one didn't disappoint! There is a warm and inviting feel to the place. It is quiet yet has a nice ambience, with subtle nepalese/Indian music playing. The place as you enter is very nicely presented with enough room between the tables to have privacy and not to be obtrusive to other diners. The place is very clean with what can only be described as freshly vacuumed carpets. They were so clean. The staff are extremely helpful and don't bother you every two minutes to see how you are getting on. Very professional, warm, and accommodating. Then we come to the food... oh my God! It was easily the best Indian cuisine I had tried in quite a long, long time. Flavour was present en masse, the textures were different yet complementary. Take the garlic naan as an example. Generous portion (like everything else), but it was soft, hot and had little burnt crispy bits that just elevated the bread. The murgh methi malai was to die for. I cannot recommend this dish enough! Don't take my word for it. Try it and write about it!

15/08/2024: A café which is also an excellent bakery, and which is run by very friendly people. Perfect for enjoying: pastries, sandwiches, croque-monsieur, etc.
