09/07/2024: Simple and good. Very friendly staff! Watched football on TV with great sound. We had two meals, the burger which was great and the steak sandwich which unfortunately was disappointing to me as the steak was not so good... as it is listed as one of the specialtys of the house that should've done better! But had an overall great evening.

07/02/2025: Great service, atmosphere and pint was pure cream. I forgot my change at the bar and the Barmaid dropped it down to my table. Real locals pub. Really friendly bar. Made my trip to Kilkee.

06/02/2025: Coffee stop on way to service at Crematorium. As we were not eating, we were directed to cold dark back bar but made our way back to the front area and we were served our coffee + biscuit in due course.

04/10/2024: Great breakfast option. The meat pies and sausage rolls were delicious. The rhubarb crumble delicious. We hit this for breakfast to go several days in a row and were delighted each time.

06/03/2025: A cozy cafe with picnic style tables on one side and smaller seating on the other. We were seated at a 2 top and the only ones sitting in that area. The lunch menu is just the right mix with pizza, pasta, salads, and sandwiches. We ordered Panuzzi's that are similar to a calzone except a tortilla style crust folded in half. The crust was crunchy with just the right amount of filling and cheese. It was served on a cutting board with a small mixed greens salad. The atmosphere was like being in someone's crowded basement. Though it was a clever idea selling decorative items such as lighting. The parking can be a little challenging with the small narrow roads.

30/03/2025: I booked for mothers day lunch in the Bistro. What can I say a delicious 3 course meal with tea/coffee, complimentary glass of Prosecco for the Mammies! Great touch.. it was a relaxing atmosphere, really tasty food, service running like clockwork by the cheerful Oisin. Sean & Elaine popping around to speak to all the tables.
Highly recommend.
Have also stayed at Hotel Woodstock - rooms are spotless and up to date. breakfast & Lunch were both very nice.

12/02/2025: A group of 24 of us were here over the weekend for dinner, it was unreal. Everyone raved about the meals. Special mention to the vodka pasta, mushroom tagliatelle, bunga bunga pizza and the chicken cooked in lemon and wine was unreal. We were all trying eachothers! Excited to go back to try more.

15/03/2025: We had a wonderful stay! John and Ann were fabulous hosts. The room were very comfortable and the whole place was immaculate. Ann's fresh baking was fantastic. The parking was ideal and location was great. Looking forward to staying there again in Sept 2025!
