Spruce Goose Restaurant
01/02/2026: Spruce Goose has always been my favorite place in Wellington. Knowing it will close on the 8th of February fills me with a deep sadness. It carries so many beautiful memories with friends and family. I will truly miss sitting there, sharing moments, and drinking coffee.
Big thanks to the staff I will Miss you all
01/02/2026: Was a bit disappointed. Heard it was closing so we thought we'd go have another wonderful meal there. We got there for 5pm, and was told that the majority of the food on the menu wasn't available. So we decided to go somewhere else instead. 😢

01/05/2026: If u need to make ur holiday memorable..don’t forget to visit stonewall post ur cliff of moher tour. Specifically Ash who helped us feel at home was absolutely brilliant!! The kids enjoyed spending time with Ash and she was an absolute blessing!! Thanks Ash and team…u made our day and u r one of those few who take customer service seriously and u definitely hit it out of the park! Stay blessed!

24/04/2026: Caesar salad was not worth the price. Seafood chowder was good. Cash only when we were there for lunch, their machine was broken - wish they had told us before we sat, never a good surprise.
18/02/2026: Beautiful restaurant, the waitress (blonde woman with pink shoes) for lunch time was lovely!! Very professional and kind.

22/01/2026: I probably should have gone back in to query the price but my €7.99 Panini and the three items pictured came to €21.23,so my bag of crisps, lemon soda and carton of water came to €13.24. Hopefully a mistake and not the usual rip off we are so good at in this country. Panini was spot on though. Rest of the fare looks good.

11/04/2026: Room were nice and cosy,hot water took some time to come, Rooms have no sound proofing, breakfast was sad and really uneatable, nobody ever answered phone at reception, Reception staff can be over worked, tried / grumpy.
27/03/2026: We had food here.It was very nice.The house Chardonnay was poor and the man who seemed to be in charge was really smarmy so much so I jokingly asked him was he a Kerry man looking for business.But as I said I enjoyed the food….we didnt go back today.Returned to Lahinch a couple of months ago.The food here was top class.Big plates of perfectly cooked food.Exactly what you need after long walks.We will be back soon and will eat here everyday

01/05/2026: I stopped there for a quick lunch but they're selling items 50% more expensive than other McDonald's. 15.40 for 9 chicken selects??? You really think you are a restaurant don't you? And as a bonus, staff can barely speak and the place smells like old burned oil.
28/04/2026: Surprisingly enough this is the best McDonalds I’ve been. My boyfriend he is carnivore and I’m vegetarian and both option were absolutely delicious. The fries were as fresh as it can get, not sure why it had bad reviews

Chips drier than Gandhi's flip flop - genuinely impressive how moisture-free they were. The "battered" sausage arrived completely naked, not a hint of coating. Half pounder looked questionable and tasted worse.
The whole place is grim. Save your money and your stomach - go literally anywhere else.
