24/06/2026: Had the most fun 1st day of my 4th trip to ireland, there. Wandered in hearing the music, annoyed everyone in there, I am sure (without meaning, too, though, I was just so happy and giddy to be back, having landed in after working nearly everyday and lots of double shifts to afford the holiday and 20 hours of flying and airport layovers.) I had pints, began flat-footing about to the music, got someone to round the house with me a bit in a tipsy polka. And then, heard the funniest thing in my life as someone shouted out, refering to me of course, "Who ordered the Temu dancer?" I about spit out my drink. It did not dampen my spirits and it will now, forever be the prequel to anytime I cannot hold still to diddley-dideldy. I will ask, "Did someone order a dancer from Temu?" and off I will go. Thank you to the sweet bartendress, and to the very kind and fun regulars, I hope my lack of talent and unbridled enthusiasm was more amusing than annoying. The craic was ninety in the diamond bar. I hope I get to return some day. 5 stars, highly recommend!💕🥳🥰🍻

09/08/2026: During a short stopover in Ennis, we took the opportunity to have breakfast. The welcome was warm and we were served quickly. The food was also delicious.

20/09/2026: Really great find. Food flavors are delicious. Large menu to choose from. We enjoyed having vegetable bento box and vegetable udon. Staff super kind. Would recommend.

19/09/2026: It's definitely a solid place! The sushi is nice, they have a wide selection and it's very consistently made. Service is wonderful, the staff are very nice and friendly. The restaurant itself is very cute, clean and a comfortable environment. The ramen is really really not to my tastes, I'm not a ramen snob by any means but I have had many bowls in Japan and America, and I have never seen anything like what they offer here. I would not recommend it myself but it could be nice to others. It's close to a Korean-western fusion bowl, worth trying but I don't like it.

20/05/2026: The food is amazing, very tasty. Chiken with lemon sauce was the best chiken dish I have ever had in chinese restaurant.

06/04/2026: An absolute feast! The kebab in a soft, freshly toasted bun is juicy, packed with flavorful meat and crunchy veggies, and the sauce ties everything together perfectly. And then there are three types of fries — each one a different delight: the classic fries are golden and crispy, the taco chips come with a bold, slightly spicy topping and meat, and the garlic chips are smothered in a creamy garlic sauce that’s addictive from the first bite. The spice bag looks perfectly seasoned and crunchy. The portions are huge, everything is fresh and served with care. Honestly hard to stop eating — highly recommended for anyone craving a hearty, delicious meal!

27/08/2026: We had our daughter’s Christening at Hassett’s Bar / Le Chéile earlier this month, and everything from start to finish was absolutely exceptional. A huge thank you to Anne-Marie, Liene & staff for all their help in making our special day so memorable. Everything ran so smoothly, and we couldn’t have asked for better service. The food was absolutely delicious, with very generous portion sizes. So many of our guests commented on how fabulous the food was. All of the staff were so friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout the day. Thank you to everyone at Hassett’s / Le Chéile for helping us celebrate such a special occasion. We would highly recommend you to anyone looking for a beautiful venue, delicious food and fantastic service.

10/08/2026: Definitely worth a stop if you find yourself in Ennis! Incredible drinks and cheese and lovely conversations!

30/08/2026: We have been getting takeaways from the A1 for a number of years but tonights meal was very disappointing, the main meat dish was very dry and the starters were equally dry and over cooked. We won't consider going back to the A1 unless we hear that things have improved.

28/07/2026: Picked up a fabulous meal on way from Kilimer to Kilkee. I wanted a vegetarian meal that was not on the menu and it was no problem. Family all happy, great helping and very tasty. We'll be back

25/06/2026: We were there on Monday, June 16th. Great pub, fantastic drinks, and very friendly service! We struck up a conversation quite quickly. Dan and a nice Scotsman who was traveling to Boston for the World Cup the next day. Unfortunately, there was no music that evening. So we sang a song together—and it felt like the whole pub joined in. It was a great experience and a very pleasant evening! 5 stars!

03/06/2026: Overall, the hotel is nice. However , the location isn’t ideal if you want to be within walking distance of anything fun or cool. It’s on a golf course so it’s very relaxing , but boring. As far as the rooms, super outdated and inconsistent. We booked two rooms, one of them came with water and all the towels you would need. The other room didn’t have any water , and only two towels were provided. If you have to stay here in a pinch it’s okay, but I wouldn’t book here again. Not horrible, just not my favorite.

01/06/2026: We booked a last minute stay directly through the website as it looked on the surface to be excellent value; family of 4 for one night, bank holiday weekend, with breakfast for under €150, and access to the pool, which was our must have for visiting with 2 kids who love a pool. Lobby area is stunning, wide open and beautiful chandelier. We had a bit of a wander around and found that the ballroom area also was beautiful. It does feel more like a golf course with a hotel. We ate dinner in the bar with the kids; service was slow as it was very full with what seemed like both locals and hotel guests (positive sign) but not enough staff, but we got there in the end, and it seemed decently priced as well, which is good because the restaurant part did seem a bit excessively priced, and without the bar menu option, we absolutely would have eaten elsewhere. Breakfast the next morning was also good; not a massive selection, the usual fry up, 3 cereals, toast and pastries, but all good. The coffee was not good though, that needs addressing, as it was clearly granule coffee, and definitely too many granules, more like tar. A couple of things werent perfect with the fry up - fried eggs were all overdone, tomatoes a bit underdone, but overall it was good and filled a hole. The bread selection and sausages and bacon in particular were lovely. The pool in very convenient, all within the hotel itself, with changing rooms, showers, large pool, kids pool area, jacuzzi, all in good/great condition, and id go so far as to say the sauna is in excellent condition. The steam room was definitely struggling with the steam element, but it was ok. Kids had a blast. The room itself - this is why its so cheap. We stayed in room 106. Despite all the positives, the food, the pool, the lobby area, the room is a let down. The rooms are old and tired, and need updating. The carpet is musty, the windows old and a bit moldy, and the beds a bit lumpy. There is no air conditioning in the rooms. The bathroom is very tired; mold between tiles, stains in the tub, leak at the toilet. The biggest issue was two silverfish in the bathroom which to find was a big surprise, pointing to that there are probably a lot more. Must be living under the tub. I know how terrible these are to get rid off, but it has to be prioritised. No doubt they will, and I did immediately let the receptionist know, and she was going to get someone to attend to it immediately, but the kids were asleep so said leave it till tomorrow when we check out. The room wasnt clean. Found things under the desk and around the perimeter. I know its always rush rush rush to turn a hotel room around, but more care needs to be had with the rooms. Pics attached of the dirt/dead bug. So a mixed bag; good food, nice lobby, decent location, and Ive stayed in much worse, but to move it back to that next level, it needs a refurbishment of the rooms as soon as possible. The kids were happy and didnt know any better, and we made some great memories, but my experience is 'its fine' rather than 'definitely stay here'.

25/08/2026: Kebab was disgusting. God knows what they put in it. You can tell this stuff is processed meat & god knows what else.. Plus the prices are way to expensive. Never again.
