08/04/2025: Lovely selection of freshly baked goods and really nice coffee that was prepped super fast.

29/12/2024: Nice little cafe with a big selection of bread and pastries.

11/05/2025: Dropped in for Sunday lunch; very efficient service & food was good… but tbh; damn expensive !.. Fish & Chips; Prawn (8 prawns) linguini; one dessert; 2 coffees and 1 pint… €75 yo yo’s (plus tip).. No wonder there were only 6 other folks dining.. Check the menu / prices before booking wud be my advice..

04/04/2025: Absolutely lovely! First time of many ♥️ They were pretty full but their service was smooth, nice, clean. Everything was lovely, we didn’t wait long for the food, waitresses were super gentle and friendly, the food tasty, delicious and fresh. We will be back to try their pizzas again. FULLY RECOMMENDED 🤗🤗🤗🤗

21/05/2025: Oh, The Cheese Press!! My beloved cafe. Someone wanted to go in here & I thought, the cheese press? It’s just a cheese shop. Oh no… it was the best cafe in Ireland & what made me fall in love with Ennistymon! We came here several times during our trip. We dined in, take away, & shopped at this cafe! I’ll dream of this cafe

05/04/2025: Always busy good food fast friendly service .

04/04/2025: Ordered 2 spice boxes and 2 portions of taco sauce. One would assume taco sauce was the pink sauce but I nearly ended up being given the actual meat in a tub until I intervened! She shouted at me saying I had ordered 2 tubs of taco sauce, proceeding to show me the tubs of mince. The spice boxes themselves were horrible, I had to ask for the veg to be put in and it wasn’t cooked, it was cold and raw and left on the top. She must’ve used the full bottle of seasoning because I could barely make out what was a chip or a piece of chicken. The young girl needs a change of attitude as she was quite rude. Have been here many times before without issue until now. Will not be returning as long as that incompetent worker is still there.

15/03/2025: A very full pub, but they'll always fit you in. I had a beautiful salad, with smoked salmon and brown bread... And the obligatory pint of stout! Very reasonable and excellent service. But hey, the music has started, magic..

12/05/2025: We ate in the Gastro Pub last Saturday. We are local and have eaten here before and always found it good. But this time the food was absolutely divine. All the staff were attentive especially Chloe , who served our family . She was very sweet to the children. We will be back soon.
