If you want take away tea or takeaway coffee. Go up the road to the The Forge General Store. I got tea (large) and can dog food for 3.20.

29/06/2025: It was just after lunch and we needed a break. Holly’s was close so we decided to drop by. It was pretty busy around town but we were lucky and found a spot just up the street. The front patio was very busy, it was a warm sunny day but we were easily able to find a table inside. We ordered an Americano, a cappuccino and a fruit scone. The young lady at the counter gave my a nice smile as I paid and my order arrived shortly there after. My cappuccino was good but the scone which came with jam and butter, while tasty was a touch over baked. All in all, we enjoyed the break and I think I’d go back again to give them a second go at the scone.

23/06/2025: Cooks Lane Cafe in Ennis is an absolute gem for lunch! Tucked away down a charming alley off the main road, its cozy atmosphere is immediately inviting. The food was simply exceptional – truly fresh ingredients prepared to perfection, with ideal portion sizes. Owner Paul's friendly demeanor and personal attention to our meals made the experience even better. I highly recommend Cooks Lane Cafe for a delightful breakfast or lunch!
15/06/2025: Our server Paul was so welcoming, couldn't have done enough for us. Did a little dance for us before we even sat down. The food was amazing also. Good times

06/07/2025: We had our meal in covered outdoor space, tables and floor were dirty, not cleaned prior to service.
Teapot , sugar bowl and cups were badly stained with residue.
The sirloin steak was inedible (see photo).The waitress noticed I hadn't eaten it and asked how had I asked for it to be cooked, when I said 'medium', she offered to cook it some more. Unfortunately the steak was so tough and full of gristle it was inedible.
I didn't ask for a discount, but really, it didn't feel right paying for this accompanied by overcooked chips.

25/04/2025: Fantastic little spot for breakfast, stayed in Milltown for 3 nights and ate here each morning. Our son can be a fussy eater but really enjoyed his breakfast too. Would definitely eat here again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it

19/07/2025: This was our favourite food experience in Doolin and one of our tastiest meals all year. The menu is focused around great quality produce, locally sourced, and at very reasonable prices. We opted for the vichyssoise and oysters to start and both were delicious. The monkfish and lamb mains were the show stoppers though - we wiped the plates clean with the leftover bread (which was another winner!) from the start of our meal. The servers were extremely friendly and attentive. Everything was 5*. It was a cut above any of the other dining experiences in Doolin.

The food was fresh and delicious, and the atmosphere was peaceful and inviting — you can really feel the care and heart behind everything here. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the experience all the more special. A beautiful place to pause, recharge, and feel at home. Highly recommend!

06/06/2025: Absolutely love this place! It is great to dine in - very clean, pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. The food is always fresh and delicious! The fried rice dishes with vegetables are the best in Clare and Limerick! Miso soup is fantastic! The best I ever tried! Also love the takeaway option. The portions are huge and same delicious! This place is always my first choice for eating out and takeaways. We are clients for over 4 years now. The food and service remained at the same high level during all these years! Well done guys! Keep it up!
23/05/2025: Food was delicious, red curry had so much flavour and the squishiest juise filled tofu. It was really clean and the staff were very pleasant. Good value too. I left very full.

16/07/2025: We entered through the pub and didn't follow the correct process for eating, so the waiters were very rude and didn't coordinate with each other after asking us the same thing several times! Only to end up making us pay for a glass of wine we hadn't ordered, which we hadn't drunk and which was taken back by a waiter. We had ordered 750ml, but the carafe was finally brought with only one glass! Phew, the burgers and dessert were good!!

20/06/2025: We always stop at Adriano’s when passing Ennis . We were disappointed with this visit for the first time ever. Staff serving was rude and we seemed to annoy him giving him the business . The toilets were filthy and the food was only ok . How disappointing .
29/05/2025: While touring across Ireland we fell behind our schedule a little so we stopped in here unexpectedly for dinner, since we wanted something fairly quick and easy. What started as a spontaneous dinner stop turned into one of the best pizza experiences of our lives. I saw a plaque on the wall that they placed second in all of Ireland for a pizza competition and I’d venture to say that’s an understatement. Absolutely delicious pizza, great service, and very fair prices. Our server gave us some great local travel tips too and she was a pleasure to deal with. Next time I’m in Ireland I’m going to make sure to stop here for food again.
