31/08/2025: Wonderful local pub. Warm, welcoming hostess. When the bartender noted that we were visiting, we were asked to sign a visitor's book and were presented with a welcome drink.

31/08/2025: Over priced, tiny portions. Food was tasty but not enough for the price. Main course looked like a starter. Lovely atmosphere, starving leaving the place, sides extra.

27/08/2025: The food was nice but I had to order a side dish with my main dish otherwise I would be still hungry. It happened before when I order fish. The fish was small and had to order vegetables separately. I was still hungry after. The atmosphere and staff are nice. I think a bit over priced for what you are getting. That just me.

04/10/2025: Stayed here for 1 night. Located in centre of town. Fantastic from start to finish. Rooms spotless clean, so cosy and rooms so bright with lovely decor. So spacious. Plenty of towels etc. comfy beds. Pub downstairs is also so cosy with lovely decor. Very Friendly staff in bar. Only thing I would recommend is maybe some curtains as the blinds let in a lot of light from street lights during the night. Would highly recommend.

18/06/2025: We stayed in June 2025 at Michael A”s Pub in milltown Malby for 3 nights for a wedding in Spanish Point. First off I want to say how wonderful and helpful David was to us before and during our stay at his hotel. He answered questions immediately and always tried to help make our stay top notch. We stayed in the apartment room and it was fantastic. Very very clean - beds and pillows very comfy - shower equipped with shampoo conditioner body wash - kitchen had basic necessities that were handy - very clean - peak view of ocean and rolling fields. All in all we were extremely happy with our stay here. David even left the bar and drove us down to Spanish point when we were late for the wedding. Thank you David for a wonderful stay. I will tell all my friends to stay with you ☘️

21/08/2025: Huge portions of food for a reasonable price. Pizza, chips, battered sausage and chicken are all very tasty. Girlfriend loved the 4 seasons pizza. Great curry sauce. Drop in if you're hungry and nearby.

25/06/2025: Very busy lively pub with an excellent atmosphere and an amazing beer garden.we didn't eat here but enjoyed the drink and relaxing outside. Definitely worth popping in for a pint and if I'm ever in the area again I'll be back

19/07/2025: This was our favourite food experience in Doolin and one of our tastiest meals all year. The menu is focused around great quality produce, locally sourced, and at very reasonable prices. We opted for the vichyssoise and oysters to start and both were delicious. The monkfish and lamb mains were the show stoppers though - we wiped the plates clean with the leftover bread (which was another winner!) from the start of our meal. The servers were extremely friendly and attentive. Everything was 5*. It was a cut above any of the other dining experiences in Doolin.

05/09/2025: EDIT: as of writing this, this locale no longer serves food. Bummer :( Genuinely the best pizza I've ever eaten, I believe they have a genuine pizza firing oven, conventional ovens simply can't beat that. The serving staff are all very kind and efficient as well. Whenever I have an excuse to go there for a Pizza and coffee, I gladly do. Highly recommended, 11/10.

03/09/2025: One of the only 2 places for an outdoor pint in Lahinch

30/08/2025: We had a round at Lahinch Golf club and one of the caddies recommended we head to Frawley’s bar after the round for a “proper pint.” We had the best creamy pint of our trip and had an absolute incredible experience. The owner of the bar, Peter, sat with us telling stories, and spent time explaining how to properly pour a pint of Guinness. Shout out to the locals who we had so much fun with, and to Thomas N in particular who could actually be the Irish Shivas Irons. This was a supper fun and welcoming bar where you can get a proper pint. I absolutely recommend to anyone in Lahinch.

12/10/2025: Nice hotel, decent bedroom sizes, comfy and a welcome stay. But the real positive of this hotel is the overstay carparking. We used this hotel as it's a great deal, allowing us to stay the night before our flight out of Shannon, and a safe place to keep our car while we are away. The alternative is Shannon Airport itself at double the price, and no bed for the night. The only complaint I had was the door into our bathroom had suffered some wear and tear. The handle was coming away, it was need of desperate repair, but if you were careful it was ok.
