16/05/2025: We stopped in for a bite to eat while we were driving through town. What a great experience! The locals were welcoming and friendly. The owner was delightful and makes a great ham and cheese sandwich. BTW, the music I was telling you about was “red dirt music”. Thanks for a fun afternoon.

17/06/2025: We held our family reunion at Stella Maris in Kilkee in June 2025, with relatives joining us from all around the world. It was a large group, including many happy young children, and the team at Stella Maris couldn’t have been more welcoming and accommodating. The food was absolutely delicious, with a full menu that offered something for everyone in our group. The quality was superb, and the variety ensured all tastes were catered for. The cocktail menu was extensive and expertly made, adding an extra touch of celebration to the occasion. A special highlight was the personalized menu featuring a welcome message for our family reunion — such a thoughtful and meaningful gesture that truly made us feel at home. We can’t thank the staff enough for helping make our reunion so memorable. Highly recommended!

15/06/2025: A little spendy but worth it! Our waitress was freaking awesome. She was the only one there on a Thursday afternoon and the hostess had told us it'd be 20 minutes and our waitress (wish i got her name) insisted that she seat us right away and that she'd be with us in 5 minutes! She kept our drinks full, served our food and held down the rest of the restaurant too. Oh! And the food was good!!

10/06/2025: The fried artichoke appetizer and cheesy bread were absolutely delicious! The lobster dinner was very good, nice big lobster tail. The filet mignon was very thin and I didnt care for the salmon cakes. Dessert was wonderful!

27/06/2025: A fabulous pub with very good food. The hostess is lovely, very friendly and has a great sense of humour. We had a very nice lunch here and we asked about a local hairdresser for my wife. Well she got on the phone and within 5 minutes we had an appointment for the next day. Excellent service.

23/06/2025: Stopped for dinner and everything was very nice! We had the voulevant and soup for starters, both were delicious! Also had the steak sandwich and baked chicken special and the portions were massive and everything was delicious.

06/05/2025: We had the most lovely stay at Carrygerry. The house and location are just beautiful, and the staff were all so kind, warm, and friendly. Everything was very clean, and the FOOD - absolutely delicious! The strawberry jam made in house was so delicious, I had to bring a jar home (they also sell their own jams and chutneys!). We were in the Orchard room, and the bed was very comfy. The en suite bathroom was very clean and included some small toiletries. There were also radiators in both the bathroom and bedroom in case you needed some warmth, as well as a courtesy hairdryer, tabletop fan, and alarm clock. I loved all the old charm in the decor, and everything seemed lovingly maintained. Would absolutely recommend and I would definitely stay here again if we come back to Ireland!

27/04/2025: Beautiful views considering proximity to everything. In need of some maintenance: out of date info in printouts, faucets that require muscle to shut off, that sort of thing. When you consider the age of the facility, it's in good shape overall. In general, a positive experience and a good value for the money.

25/06/2025: Very busy lively pub with an excellent atmosphere and an amazing beer garden.we didn't eat here but enjoyed the drink and relaxing outside. Definitely worth popping in for a pint and if I'm ever in the area again I'll be back

12/04/2025: With the great weather my partner decided to cross the road (Abbey Court) for a pint after finishing work at 3pm (wfh)he found the place very friendly and the Guinness was great and reasonably priced. I joined him later and have to say the atmosphere and service was superb. Delighted we can now go for a drink close to home together. Thank you for great service and welcoming my Swiss/ Cork partner 😅

25/06/2025: Best time we had in any pub in all of Ireland. Whole bar singing along to songs together late into a magical Monday night.

26/05/2025: Lovely place which has the best of both with a proper traditional pub and a cosy modern restaurant. We booked ahead as a family of 7, and despite there being a small wedding party at the same time, the service was great, very attentive, and helpful. A good menu, with tasty food and generous portions. The coffee was surprisingly good too. I only wish I could've stayed longer to enjoy a few pints.

20/05/2025: Absolutely delicious food, great service and a very pretty environment. Bathrooms were very clean too. Just a lovely place. I would recommend it.
