12/08/2025: Wonderful place where the tradition is still very much alive. Great music, and the pub owner is very welcoming and knows everyone in town

01/10/2025: We were on holiday passing through Lahinch and selected The Edge for an early dinner at the recommendation of the owner of (or a worker in) Sue’s Lahinch Limited clothing store. It was an excellent dining experience, from the service, atmosphere, cleanliness and timing. But what’s most memorable for me and my husband was the SEAFOOD CHOWDER!! It is quite literally the best soup I’ve ever had in a restaurant! I am certain, the next time we visit Ireland we’ll plan a few days in Lahinch for sole purpose of enjoying the seafood chowder, oh and dining experience too! Kudos to the chef and the creator of the recipe. Know that I will be craving your soup from Ohio, likely for the rest of my life 😍. Well Done!!

22/11/2025: We were in Ennis and got recommended this restaurant from family. It was on par or better than expensive organic places with we’ve seen in California or New York. The owner is a former Aer Lingus flight attendant and was very nice to chat with!

I asked for a keto-friendly option and they created something perfectly balanced — harissa salmon with that ideal mix of sweet, smoky, and sharp, resting on greens that tasted alive. 01/10/2025: Lovely little cafe with literally the nicest staff very who very polite and warm to the elderly that came in. Went above and beyond to accommodate everyone fairly. Obviously very popular for a reason!

02/12/2025: I loved this place so much, the location was amazing the pints were superb and omg the staff were awesome!!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️ must say though most of what we got up to on our trip was suggested by Axel one of the staff in the hotel! He didn’t let us miss one spot and the pints served by Axel in particular were one of the on our trip not just to Doolin but to Ireland ☘️ we will be back!

01/10/2025: What a wee gem! Fabulous Irish breakfast, (and the rest) with friendly staff, that you just know when you see them are going to deliver real home cooking like mother used to make. And then there is their bakery! Wow! This is worthy of travelling to. Amazing range of luxurious super sized home made treats that makes it very difficult to pick just one favourite. Definitely heading back here every year now on trips to Clare. Well done ladies fabulous to see a business that have 110% nailed what they do!

02/10/2025: Could not recommend this bakery more. Such a gem!!! Exceptional quality of produce, tasted their bread before and had to return to buy more to gift my family. The staff were so pleasant. This business is so great for the area.

30/09/2025: We loved our visit to Kilkee and staying at the Bayview. It's a well appointed hotel with excellent service and attention to small details.

15/09/2025: We went there for dinner. Stuffed pork loin with gravy, vegetables, and potatoes. It tasted delicious. The service was also very good. Thanks 😀

19/11/2025: I’m trying to find something bad or wrong about this hotel, like.. really really trying.. and I simply can’t. I’m on a tour across the country to visit every single county atm so I spend every night in a different hotel. This is THE BEST hotel so far I came across (from maaany) So what would you want from a hotel? ✅ really comfy beds ✅ unusually good at hospitality staff ✅ swimming pool ✅ hot tube outside with an amazing view ✅ sauna AND a steaming room ✅ relaxing indoor jacuzzi ✅ breakfast that will make you rewatch all Gordon Ramsey clips to re-learn how to breakfast again ✅ gym - let’s face it you will need it after breakfast like this ✅ aqua aerobics ✅ swimming classes ✅ bridge tournaments….. Did I mention the view??? I mean… not. a. single. flaw! Well done to whoever is managing this place to keep it affordable with all these revenue streams and kudos to the hiring team for having an amazing eye for outstanding hospitality staff. Special mention to the lovely lady in the swimming pool reception who made me feel so welcomed in a setting I wasn’t really comfortable with. Photo of my dinner 😃

28/09/2025: Really lovely hotel, in a great location on the wild Atlantic way. If you want a boring shiney characterless Hilton then this might not be for you. It's been around for 500 years and extended/modernised over the years. Beautiful setting and you immediately feel so relaxed on arrival . Will definitely return.

01/11/2025: A delightful lunch stop at this creperie, run by friendly, smiling staff. Highly recommended, especially for the quality of the food.

17/09/2025: Really nice place to eat. Staff are very welcoming and willing to adapt the menu to cater to vegans. Really enjoyed the crepes and highly recommended:)
