23/03/2026: Traveling with friends I booked us two rooms a couple months before our visit. The hotel was mobbed when we arrived. There were two people working check in for literally 100+ people. There was no one to help with bags. The majority of people who were checking in were elderly. Some type of a card tournament the ladies told me. As stated no one to help with bags. I watched then I helped elder woman in wheel chairs struggling to get into their rooms with suitcases. If you know you have that many bookings put more staff on! The hotel is pretty a bit rustic. The bar/dining area is nice and food was good. The staff in there were very attentive and friendly. Jake especially...thank you! Keep in mind when booking there is no A/C! You also do not have control of any temperature settings in your room. Our friends were put on the 7th floor. It was stifling. The elevators do not go to the 7th floor so "you" need to carry your luggage up the stairs to your rooms. Overall I was expecting much more from this hotel. The website looked so beautiful and charming.

05/09/2025: This was an excellent little bakery. They offered a wonderful assortment of baked goods that were baked same day. They melted in the mouth like a cloud on a beautiful Irish morning. He even gave us a tour of the kitchen which was incredible. I would absolutely recommend Unglert's Bakery to anyone who is driving through this stunning area.
