01/10/2025: We were on holiday passing through Lahinch and selected The Edge for an early dinner at the recommendation of the owner of (or a worker in) Sue’s Lahinch Limited clothing store. It was an excellent dining experience, from the service, atmosphere, cleanliness and timing. But what’s most memorable for me and my husband was the SEAFOOD CHOWDER!! It is quite literally the best soup I’ve ever had in a restaurant! I am certain, the next time we visit Ireland we’ll plan a few days in Lahinch for sole purpose of enjoying the seafood chowder, oh and dining experience too! Kudos to the chef and the creator of the recipe. Know that I will be craving your soup from Ohio, likely for the rest of my life 😍. Well Done!!

The owner a former Aer Lingus flight attendant who got to check out restaurants globally, and brought it back to Clare!

Whether you're craving a cheesy pizza or crunchy chicken, Ali G never disappoints. Highly recommended for anyone passing through Kilrush!

Their matchas are to die for and you can get hot or cold drinks if you like!
It’s a small spot so it’s intimate and the staff knows your name. After brunch you can have their home made pastries for dessert.
I’m here almost weekly and it’s going to be your new favourite brunch spot .
Definitely going back!!

23/10/2025: The chocolate and hot chocolate was very good. In fact, the hot chocolate is probably the best I have ever had. Also, the Irish guy in the back giving out chocolate samples was great. However, the Eastern European blonde woman (perhaps the owner?) was a bit gruff and off-putting. Overall, good for chocolate though.
22/07/2025: Smells amazing, looks amazing, and you guessed it; tastes AMAZING. Well worth a stop on any worth while trip through Clare. Friendly staff, gorgeous hot chocolate and really reasonable prices for an ethical, bean to cup manufacturer.
