14/07/2025: Hotel Doolin is a must stay! My fiance (now husband) and I stayed here for a few days last month while we were getting ready to elope at the Cliffs of Moher. The location was perfect to stay in before our big day. The staff were so lovely and helpful, it really made a difference for us & the local food and drinks were great as well. We got to see a bit of the end of the Doolin Folk Fest so it was great to be surrounded by good music. Definitely will come back here the next time we visit Ireland! - Monica & Mike

09/07/2025: The night porter needs to learn some manners !!

09/09/2025: Absolutely delicious breaded chicken breast (one was curry and one was parmigiana) with cooked cabbage, carrots and a huge portion of Irish mashed potatoes!! Okay so the chairs on the patio were a bit warn but if you want some delicious home cooked food at a reasonable price..this is your place. We found our servers to very pleasant and friendly although we only saw them to order and when we got our food.

02/09/2025: The food was fresh and amazing. There is always fresh baked goods...excellent scones. A great place to stop in for a tea or coffee

29/08/2025: We had an excellent dinner at Naughton’s Bar in Kilkee. Our group of five showed up with one more than our reservation allowed, but Elaine handled it with ease and got us seated quickly without fuss. The service throughout the evening was prompt, friendly, and clearly well organized — the whole team is on point. Before dinner we had the pleasure of chatting with Paddy Collins behind the bar. His knowledge of Kilkee’s history, his great personality, and his warm hospitality set the tone for the night. He’s a gem. The food itself was absolutely delicious — starters and mains alike were top-notch, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. Combine that with the very fair pricing and you get excellent value for money. Naughton’s is truly a testament to what makes Kilkee special: great food, genuine people, and welcoming service. Big thanks to Elaine, Paddy, and the whole team for a wonderful evening. We’ll definitely be back!

28/08/2025: Arrived and it took 10 minutes for someone to take our food order (no biggy) the food was excellent I would recommend the burger. Nicest food in Kilkee. However when we were trying to leave (we understood we had our table for 2 hours) we struggled to find someone to get the bill from (for 5 mins) A waitress came over and asked us nicely to leave as she had another table coming in. We mentioned that we never got the bill and she apologised and left. 5 minutes later my grandfather goes up to the bar to pay the bill as still no sign of anyone dropping it to our table. After the bill is paid my grandfather returns to the table and briefly gathers his things (in his late 80s) before the manager comes over and asks us to leave again? Just left us with a sour taste in our mouths. I will of course be returning to naughtons as I have since I was a child with hopefully better communication between staff management and customers.

21/07/2025: Anyone who can say that these pancakes are of the same quality as those offered in Brittany... well, they have never been to Brittany or stopped at a motorway service station.

10/07/2025: We visited this lovely place with the kids from our school camp, and it was a wonderful experience! Everyone enjoyed the delicious Nutella crepes — they were fresh, warm, and absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, perfect for a fun and relaxing break. The staff was friendly and helpful, making sure all the children were happy and comfortable. Thank you for a great time — we’ll definitely be back!

05/09/2025: If you're in Ennis, you absolutely have to go there. Fantastic food, very good coffee, very kind and professional people.

30/08/2025: Surprisingly place in Ennis to enjoy a coffee or/with a light meal. Friendly staff, great coffee and delicious food.

15/09/2025: We went there for dinner. Stuffed pork loin with gravy, vegetables, and potatoes. It tasted delicious. The service was also very good. Thanks 😀

09/08/2025: We stopped by for breakfast after flying into Shannon from the States. This was our first experience eating in Ireland. Some things are different than what we are used to, but overall, it was a great experience. The food was excellent.

29/06/2025: I was on holidays in the area with my elderly parents and daughter, I saw the reviews online and decided to try Ros cafe for lunch. Food was lovely, we had a full fry, pancakes and acai bowls with the latter being some of the best we've had. Would recommend and would definitely visit again if I'm anywhere close by.

28/02/2025: Comimos aquí dos veces. Una vez en persona y otra con servicio de habitaciones. Primero cenando. El restaurante es absolutamente hermoso. Cada persona que trabaja aquí es profesional, pero también amable y una alegría para hablar. Nos hicieron sentir tan especiales y también como si fuéramos amigos. Como nota complementaria rápida, en el bar, el joven que trabaja allí también es una joya. Dromoland Castle es una suerte tener un personal tan encantador. Para nuestra comida, nos trajeron pan y mantequilla. Se sirve frío. Preferimos el pan caliente, pero el pan frío era lo normal en los restaurantes que visitábamos. Para empezar tuvimos el tartar de atún y la sopa Tom, se nos olvidó todo el nombre. Ambos eran tan buenos. El atún sabía fresco y la sopa estaba caliente y muy bueno. Para la red, pedimos el filete de angus y la olla pollo asado. El filete era tierno y sabroso. El pollo servido no era lo que figuraba en el menú. En el menú no hay menciones de setas o pasta y se enumera como una comida sin gluten. Lo que se sacó fue pollo con pasta y hongos. No dije nada, solo aparté la pasta y los hongos del pollo, comiendo solo la carne. El pollo estaba perfectamente cocinado y era bueno. Para el postre, pedimos el helado de vainilla y sorbete, delicioso y ligero. La noche siguiente pedimos servicio de habitaciones. Intentamos pedir el filete de nuevo, pero nos dijeron que no estaba en el menú. Así que pedimos el tartar de atún (de nuevo) y la costilla corta de angus negro. Los caballeros que trajeron nuestra comida lo preparó tan agradable y de nuevo fueron geniales. El atún estaba tan bueno como la noche anterior. Las costillas cortas estaban tiernas, pero mi marido prefería el filete de la noche anterior, solo su gusto personal. En conjunto, este es un restaurante maravilloso con buena comida y gente encantadora.
