26/03/2025: Attended a wedding here last weekend and wow what a hotel! The rooms are fabulous and I would say they have been recently remodelled. The service, food and spa are all top tier! Will return for sure

24/01/2025: Could not get over the quality of food for the price! A little gem of a restaurant in the heart of Ennis. Food was served fast & tasted so nice. Wine was delicious! The lovely Becky greeted and served us, she was so friendly and attentive to all tables.

01/12/2024: I tried the rice paella at an Italian restaurant for the first time, and it turned out to be a good choice. Though it’s a Spanish dish, it was well-prepared and flavorful. The portion size was satisfying, and the price felt reasonable for the quantity. A nice experience overall!

08/03/2025: Today we visited this place with the kids. Very tasty shashlik, especially lamb. I recommend!!!! Polite staff, excellent service!!!!

04/10/2024: One of the best bakeries we have ever visited. We are from Spain and stopped by after being drawn to it. Upon entering, we were welcomed by a charming German couple. They were delightful, and the place had a warm, family atmosphere that made conversation enjoyable. They were wonderful and even prepared coffee for us to take away. Additionally, the prices were very reasonable given the quality of the pastries and coffee. We highly recommend it for anyone passing through the town, and we will definitely return one day.

16/12/2024: Super cosy cafe, just off the market place in centre of Ennis. Nice choice on the menu and very friendly and happy staff. Would highly recommend the Goats Cheese and Beetroot salad, it was absolutely delicious, of seriously generous size and had a great balance and mix of ingredients. Also the raspberry and white cheesecake roulade is a must., it was so fresh and scrumptious. It truly tasted ‘like more’. Wow. What a find ‘Le Croque’ is.

28/02/2025: Comimos aquí dos veces. Una vez en persona y otra con servicio de habitaciones. Primero cenando. El restaurante es absolutamente hermoso. Cada persona que trabaja aquí es profesional, pero también amable y una alegría para hablar. Nos hicieron sentir tan especiales y también como si fuéramos amigos. Como nota complementaria rápida, en el bar, el joven que trabaja allí también es una joya. Dromoland Castle es una suerte tener un personal tan encantador. Para nuestra comida, nos trajeron pan y mantequilla. Se sirve frío. Preferimos el pan caliente, pero el pan frío era lo normal en los restaurantes que visitábamos. Para empezar tuvimos el tartar de atún y la sopa Tom, se nos olvidó todo el nombre. Ambos eran tan buenos. El atún sabía fresco y la sopa estaba caliente y muy bueno. Para la red, pedimos el filete de angus y la olla pollo asado. El filete era tierno y sabroso. El pollo servido no era lo que figuraba en el menú. En el menú no hay menciones de setas o pasta y se enumera como una comida sin gluten. Lo que se sacó fue pollo con pasta y hongos. No dije nada, solo aparté la pasta y los hongos del pollo, comiendo solo la carne. El pollo estaba perfectamente cocinado y era bueno. Para el postre, pedimos el helado de vainilla y sorbete, delicioso y ligero. La noche siguiente pedimos servicio de habitaciones. Intentamos pedir el filete de nuevo, pero nos dijeron que no estaba en el menú. Así que pedimos el tartar de atún (de nuevo) y la costilla corta de angus negro. Los caballeros que trajeron nuestra comida lo preparó tan agradable y de nuevo fueron geniales. El atún estaba tan bueno como la noche anterior. Las costillas cortas estaban tiernas, pero mi marido prefería el filete de la noche anterior, solo su gusto personal. En conjunto, este es un restaurante maravilloso con buena comida y gente encantadora.

My partner loved his crab gnocchi, venison and pecan dessert ✨ Amuse bouche and complimentary sweet treats to top it all off! On top of a lovely rose and chocolates as a Valentine’s Day treat 💘 Thanks so much to Ian, Eric, Lily and the whole team for taking care of us from start to finish! Also absolutely beautiful harp playing 🎼 I loved it and highly recommend for your special occasions

20/02/2025: Fantastic Food, A1 service! Not the first time and not the last either!

20/02/2025: Such a charming hotel in the cutest little town. The decor pulls you in right away and has you asking questions about where you are laying your head. Once you find out, it makes your stay just a tab bit more relaxing. The staff were awesome, plus helpful with whatever questions or needs we needed, because we had a lot. Once I arrived in my room I was drawn to one of the softest beds I’ve ever slept in. Needless to say, I enjoyed my stay at the Temple Gate.

13/03/2025: This is by far the best place we’ve eaten on our Ireland honeymoon. We shared mussels appetizer, and fish and chips as a main, and they were the best I’ve had of both. If you’re visiting The Clifs this spot is a must stop!

14/03/2025: Hotel Doolin' is such a BEAUTIFUL Hotel! The lobby, the rooms, the restaurant, the courtyard, even the little pub are all so beautiful!! Not only that, it's connected to another restaurant and Fitz's pub so you can walk to all of them from inside if it's raining. 😁 The food at the restaurant is so good and coffee is delicious! The most impressive thing though are the people and the kindness they show. I've stayed so many places and Hotel Doolin has some of the kindest people working there, in every space, that I have ever encountered. They did so much for us, for our anniversary, it made me cry. We are already planning our trip back! Doolin is one of the most special places in all of Ireland and now I know there is a hotel that lives up to that and leaves you feeling absolutely wonderful after your visit! 💚 Thank you for being so grand! 💚💚

22/09/2024: Very friendly and competent staff, the pizza was the best we ate in Ireland… Bruscetta for the starter was very tasty, not run of the mill. I can only recommend it
