11/12/2025: We stopped by for a cup of tea and a sandwich on the road, and me being the tourist got really exited by the name, hoping it was going to be these types of rocks! I was ecstatic when we entered! This could have been my end stop for the day, really! WELL worth a visit! I really hope I can come back soon, with both more time and money 😅

17/12/2025: June 2025: Stopped off mid afternoon to have a pint of the black stuff which was poured faster than any pint of Guinness I’ve ever had so had to let it settle before drinking which is no hardship of course. The bar attendants were very friendly and welcoming I have to say. The interior deco of the pub is classic Eire, polished wood with cosy nooks and crannies to sit in plus areas where musical groups play their enchanting tunes of an evening and with the talents of past musicians detailing the history of the venue upon the walls.

16/12/2025: Doolin is a gem. We loved it. A highlight of our Irish road trip. The service at O'Connors is friendly & very welcoming from both the wait staff & bar staff. It's a really busy pub. Great fun on Friday night, if you can stay awake after a long day, the music starts at 9.30 Atmosphere was great. Heaps of local people adding to the enjoyment of the music. Nice to sit across the road at the tables if the weather allows. Inside it is traditionally an Irish pub, low ceilings, low light, very atmospheric. The food was pretty good. Typical pub food. Hearty & big portions. We had the mussels & a roasted chicken breast with vegs. Both were tasty.

24/10/2025: This is the place to stay when visiting Lahinch. Less than a 5-minute walk to both the town and Lahinch GC. Onsite restaurant is excellent for both breakfast and dinner, and the staff is marvelous.

15/11/2025: The food was really good — fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. The atmosphere was okay; nothing extraordinary, but comfortable enough for a pleasant meal. Overall, a solid dining experience, especially if you’re mainly looking for great food.

25/09/2025: Went for lunch Saturday.. the staff could not have been more helpful with an above and beyond service attitude. It's very hard to find this level of service anymore. We were travelling for work. I really wanted a proper steak. They sorted me out with request including dietary needs. Tasty food, steak cooked as requested. Wholesome food. We did only try the steak. Highly recommended. Nice toilets, nice room, comfy seating and decent sized tables. Will be backif back in Ennis!. Thanks all!

04/12/2025: Fantastic walk along the cliffs, and breathtaking scenery. Remember to dress warmly despite the lovely weather; we experienced quite a few gusts of wind!

03/12/2025: What a gorgeous place! The wind was to be reckoned with- Mother nature was literally in my face lol Unforgettable experience. I'd love to visit the cliffs again with a geologist to learn more about the formations.. truly stunning.

22/11/2025: The Restaurant food and service was spectacular. We are visiting from Australian and this is the best meal we have had in Ireland or the UK since we arrived!

27/10/2025: Highly recommend staying here! The location is fantastic - super close to the Cliffs of Moher and close to some lovely pubs and restaurants in the area. The host was also fabulous and very helpful and easy to communicate with. The only feedback we can give is that the bathrooms could maybe do with some renovation.

12/12/2025: Great small local pub. Delicious and very generous dinners. Got to chat with bartenders. So friendly and do fun.

05/12/2025: A solid four stars. It could be higher, but we often prefer smaller portions and higher quality. However, the food is quite decent and sufficient. We usually order one dish between the two of us. This allows us to try a wider variety of dishes. It's quite possible to have a decent meal. Sometimes the place gets too crowded for a small one. A full bus arrived, and everyone burst into the place cheerfully and boisterously. The space became cramped. There's a good restaurant nearby. It's more upscale, has more seating, and the cuisine is top-notch, but it's definitely more expensive. A portion of fish or meat can cost up to 50 euros. The choice is yours. 28/10/2025: We had a lovely meal here when visiting for the weekend. The service was great. Waitress and host Irene was very friendly and welcoming. Food was lovely. Really enjoyed it. Atmosphere was nice. They had a man hired to play piano which was a nice touch.

18/10/2025: I had an absolutely wonderful time staying here! As soon as I got there I was personally shown to my room, and was upgraded for free by surprise. The dinner and breakfast I had were delicious. It is so peaceful, quiet, and beautiful here.

24/12/2025: I took my wife here for an afternoon stroll on Friday 20/12/24. It was pretty busy with Santa visits for little ones and their parents but the whole vibe was very pleasant. We had a very reasonably priced bite to eat, the staff were friendly and chatty, the food was just fine. Entry to the park was a little shy of €40 for two adults. At first I thought this was a little pricey but by the end it was well worth it. We didn’t go to the castle. Seen it before. Very nice. We walked around the folk park. The lights and decorations were lovely. It was still light out so I’d say they were wonderful in the dark. We walked around the typical parts then went off around the rest. It was lovely. The deer were fantastic with huge antlers, we met a couple of very friendly donkeys and learned from a very helpful guide that both the HB house and the church were transported there from Dublin and Tipperary respectively and rebuilt. The house is beautiful in my opinion but I like that older style. Overall a lovely, relaxing and peaceful stroll in a very well maintained park. I would highly recommend a visit.
