05/09/2025: These are incredibly breathtaking cliffs in Ireland, definitely worth a visit. You should always wear sturdy shoes and appropriate clothing, as the weather can change quickly; however, we were lucky it was dry. You should plan plenty of time, as there's always something to see, depending on the season.

04/09/2025: Good food and nice staffs but plain environment. I thought lamb cutlets would be a fried one but actually it's similar to US version of a lamb shank. I ordered a lamb shank but that's not what I expected.

19/08/2025: Dima from the restaurant was quality. He not only provided excellent service but went above and beyond to make sure we were accommodated. Happy we were able to experience this place.

18/08/2025: Very comfortable hotel. Great staff and spotlessly clean. We stayed for 1 night in a king room and other party stayed in a twin.

13/08/2025: Love the dining room here. Menu is varied and everything we had was just delicious pate, seafood chowder , seafood food melody (but boring) mains of beef, duck and salmon all superb. Desserts of cheese cake and bread and butter pudding (bit dry and bland) . €39 for lunch . Worth it !! Staffed by highly trained waiters and waitresses all very friendly and most efficient.

12/08/2025: 3rd time here, gets booked out very quickly so take your chance when you can. Lovely hotel in the centre of Ennis town, rooms large, clean and very comfortable. Kettle and coffee machine, safe and plenty of storage. Bathroom with bath and shower in. Staff always very friendly and helpful. Had dinner outside I the garden as the weather was lovely.

16/09/2025: This pub was genuinely one of my family’s favorite restaurants in Ireland. We stopped by in early June after visiting the Cliffs of Moher, and we haven’t stopped talking about it since. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, offering a true glimpse of local Irish life. Live trad music added to the experience, and the Guinness stew was phenomenal. Plus, there’s a great selection of drinks to choose from. Seating can be hard to find depending on the time you visit, but it’s worth it :)

20/07/2025: Our last beverage before returning to Massachusetts after our Bunratty Medieval feast and ten days of exploring the area. Durty Mary's has a quintessential Irish atmosphere with a relaxed vibe and a great musician tucked away who was quite good. We had accidentally deleted the phone number for our cab and the bartender demonstrated the best hospitality by securing us another cab, and he also kept watch for us. He even escorted us to meet the driver. We had a great conversation with some native Northerners also on holiday ending our evening with hugs and handshakes. Thank you for your hospitality.

18/07/2025: Our least favorite place about the castle. Everyone in the castle was lovely and friendly. Everyone in this place seemed like they didn’t like Americans or didn’t want us there. Did not feel welcomed. Food was good.

28/08/2025: Definitely book before coming here! We were very lucky to get a table after waiting 25 minutes, but we went to a lovely local pub and glad we did. Great service, good vegan options and piping hot fresh food and games to play whilst you wait, what more could you ask for?

19/08/2025: My parents have an annual pass so I visit regularly when Im in Clare. Strongly recommend for any day weather is looking a bit rainy ( or not up for traffic to coast). Never far from shelter and fantastic way to spend a day! Beautiful gardens. Great cafe with great staff, although Brambles took over cafe they have kept original local staff. They are so friendly and brighten everybody's day. Lots of inside and outside seating. They also sell plants at reasonable prices. New Kilkenny gift shop that also has local pictures has opened on site. Well maintained paths outside grounds through the woods with options for longer or shorter walks. There is a Park run in woods on Saturdays Annual pass for gardens is only 35 and 10% discount in cafe. Worth it for anyone living or visiting Clare regularly. Everything other than walled garden is free to enter so can still enjoy the rest if on a budget

08/08/2025: Used to be a great spot to bring the family but now charging too high a prices for the walled garden itself (which used to be free)

08/09/2025: We were on our way to Galway and dropped in at Ennis for Break and lunch. Thankfully we found Eva's. We had great soups and fantastic soda bread. Staff was friendly and helpful. We highly recommend Eva's for a great healthy meal.

01/09/2025: Sublime! The salmon was cooked to perfection. Simple ingredients cooked with care and attention. The whole experience was unforgettable. The beef and turkey was perfect . Fish pie and chicken with rosemary was also delicious. The cheesecake melts in your mouth so heavenly good, the strawberry roulade, brownie, berry and apple crumble with custard were all excellent! Definitely will recommend to family and friends.

The atmosphere was everything you hope for in an Irish countryside pub: cozy, welcoming, and full of character. But what impressed us the most was the kindness and genuine warmth of the staff — the level of hospitality was simply outstanding. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area — a true gem!

08/09/2025: A genuine Irish pub that's very popular with locals, so it's not too touristy. We had a delicious meal (one curry, one bangers and mesh). The service was super friendly!

01/09/2025: Beautiful little room with a view of the Cliffs of Moher. I did not realize the quality of the restaurant when I booked it and Kieran got us in due to a cancellation and we were blown away. The experience of booking this place and having dinner is truly one we’ll remember for our entire lives. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat and book again if I’m ever in western Ireland again. But be smarter than me and book the restaurant in advance!!
