The best restaurants in Clare

13/07/2025: Hungry, we headed straight from the nearby beach to the first pizzeria we encountered in Lahinch, Joe's Cafe. It turned out to be a perfect choice. The mushroom pizzas we ordered were fantastic. What we didn't eat was packed in boxes. The service was very friendly, and although I didn't speak the language, I managed to communicate with them using Google Translate. I received a painted Atlantic pebble as a souvenir, which I took back to Poland. The only drawback was the cleaning of the place while we were still sitting at the table eating our local delicacy – and the dust is obvious. Thank you very much to the friendly waitresses for everything, and greetings from Częstochowa. 20/06/2025: Thank you very much, sorry I heard the hello too late. Thank you very much, it was really great with you. Great food, finally something different, we ordered the garlic bread, veggie burger and falafel salad without peppers and we were both really full, and it was very tasty and beautifully presented. I love your hummus, I couldn't get enough of it even though there was a lot on the plate. If we weren't on a tour of Ireland, I would probably come by every day. So many cheerful service staff, some of whom are even singing, is a nice change. The atmosphere, I would say, is beach bar and very cozy. Even the music was great and brought back memories for us.

10/07/2025: We visited this lovely place with the kids from our school camp, and it was a wonderful experience! Everyone enjoyed the delicious Nutella crepes — they were fresh, warm, and absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, perfect for a fun and relaxing break. The staff was friendly and helpful, making sure all the children were happy and comfortable. Thank you for a great time — we’ll definitely be back!

24/06/2025: Lovely. I was very impressed and really enjoyed my goats cheese, spinach and honey although my husband wasn't too impressed with his ham egg and emmenthal.

17/06/2025: Fantastic location, food was plentiful and delicious, views are incredible and plenty of parking. The Diamond Rocks Cafe is well worth a visit. Staff were attentive, very helpful and polite. Spacious restaurant with huge windows so you can enjoy the view whilst you tuck into the delicious menu. We really enjoyed the food and cake and left feeling full. We then took a walk along the costal path to walk of our lunch enjoying the fresh sea air. If you are in Clare pay the Diamond Rocks Cafe a visit. We will be visiting again 👍

07/06/2025: 2025 update: big renewal! Incredible views to the kilkee bay. The place changed its traditional style for a much more modern look and environment. It's larger, more light thanks for the big windows, and again, the views are unmatched. Recommend stopping here after a cliff walk.

19/06/2025: A relaxing weekend visit. The garden is absolutely beautiful & a magical spot for children to play & explore. Cafe is average in decor but the cakes & pastries are lovely. There is a nice gift shop & also the option of buying plants which includes a large range of choice. I will go back fir another visit.

13/07/2025: I love the Rock Shop. We were first there about 15 years ago abd have been back there every couple of years since. I could fill my house with stuff from there if I was allowed. You have to visit. Oh, some nice coffee too.

30/06/2025: Four of us visited, two of us had the same dish, one of those two was GF & DF. We were impressed that the chef came out to check that the right dish had been served to the right person (it actually hadn’t but because the chef came out, this was rectified). So 10/10 for attention to detail! The food was good but we only had a main course each so can’t comment on starters or desserts. Nicely decorated restaurant but no aircon (little fans were present), although Ireland isn’t known for its lengthy heatwaves! You definitely need to book.

28/05/2025: Great breakfast place. We had the breakfast bap, pancakes and a scone. So glad we decided on this place. Small seating area but well worth the wait.

26/05/2025: Lovely friendly atmosphere and super menu with great vegetarian choice. Soup, cake, coffee, and tea all first class.
