Rising Dragon
Shannon legal town
03/06/2026: Genuine gem in Shannon this place... Lovely room, exceptional breakfast buffet, you couldn't really want much more. It also doubles up as a bar for locals so plenty of nightlife here.

Nora Culligans
Ennis
02/07/2026: Great Venue with a really good atmosphere and friendly staff. The live bands are always fantastic, with live music all weekend followed by a DJ, making it one of the best places in Ennis for a night out.
28/06/2026: Found this great spot the last time I was in Ennis, there was a great band in there, and the atmosphere was electric, well worth checking out, you will have a great night!

Diamond Rocks Cafe
Kilkee
18/07/2026: An absolute must go to place, next time I'm down in Kilkee.
17/07/2026: Fantastic location after a refreshing walk. Bit overpriced and one thing i was disappointed with for a food establishment was that or several days in a row, there was no soap in the toilets and the hand dryer was not working

26/04/2026: The veggie breakfast was fabulous, the tea pot refilled regularly, the company was excellent, service was perfect and atmosphere was great. We came after park run while in Ireland for the weekend, this was a wonderful highlight!

The Castle Coffee House & Eatery
Ennis
30/05/2026: Beautiful place found by accident as we were lost !Staff helpful food was amazing even toilets Beautiful defo worth a lunch visit 😊 before scones run out !
29/05/2026: A real "grandma's café," simply perfect for relaxing. We were there at lunchtime for a coffee and a scone with cream and raspberry jam. It was delicious. The staff were very friendly and attentive.
The café was almost full. There was a great selection of lunch dishes, as well as many homemade cakes.
The detour on the way to the motorway was definitely worth it. Highly recommended!

Cliffs View Cafe
Liscannor
08/07/2026: The Cliffs of Moher "Experience" took an incredibly beautiful landscape and basically pimped it out to a bunch of vendors. How Ireland could allow these beautiful cliffs (an Irish icon) to be turned into the "Disneyland Cliffs of Moher" is beyond me. The best (or worst) example of this is an ice cream stand placed RIGHT NEXT to one of the most beautiful views of the cliffs. It even has a giant plastic cone out front just to make it extra rinky-dink. We were wondering if a casino, or a strip-club might be next?? * Ireland.. are you listening? We want to play the slots while we look at the cliffs!!
07/07/2026: Wonderful place to visit, large carpark. When you go there please expect a foggy weather even if all other parts of Ireland are sunny

Bunratty Manor
Bunratty
04/06/2026: Our two night stay was perfect. Professional and welcoming staff, spacious room and very serious food in served up in the restaurant.
03/06/2026: This was the last place we stayed on our trip and they were accommodating. It was a ice place and we even had air conditioning. I wish we could have enjoyed it and the surrounding area a bit more than we had the chance to

The Grove
Ennis
13/07/2026: Nice and situated away from the town. Easy to get to with plenty of tv screens for whatever sports your into. Food isn't bad either 😋
29/06/2026: It appears that the manager did not exhibit an appropriate or professional approach in dealing with both staff and clients. He maintained a strictly authoritative stance, presenting himself solely as “the boss,” with the expectation that all matters should be handled according to his direction.
While I would like to acknowledge that the rest of the team were polite, courteous, and helpful throughout, the situation was adversely affected by the manager’s behaviour. Although the decision in question was not made by him, he ensured that both staff and clients were clearly made aware of this, which created an uncomfortable and unprofessional atmosphere. NEVER AGAIN

Keanes Oyster Bar
30/07/2026: Staying and dining at Michael & Bridie’s was a highlight of our Ireland tour. The bar stands where cycle route Eurovelo 1 follows 5km of the most dangerous road I have ridden in Ireland. We were relieved to reach it alive, stash our bikes in the shed and drop into the shower.
My memory claims I have eaten better oysters: once, sitting with a friend and a bucket of lemons and two clasp knives in a dinghy in Broken Bay in Australia. Maybe.
28/06/2026: Probably the best food ive had in a long time
