22/04/2025: Very cool place! A real Irish pub, just the way it is. Excellent coffee and alcoholic cocktails. Regular prices. I recommend!

16/04/2025: Margareth has a dual personality inside the bar, an excellent person, and on the street, a rude person who claims to be rich, but forgets that at the end of her journey here on earth, the hole she ends up in is the same as the rest of us there is a parking lot next to the bar that claims to be the owner, but in reality, it doesn't even have a sign stating that it is a private parking lot I left my cars there twice and both times she was rude, while other residents of the village leave their cars there well, based on how she treated us, including my wife, I only have one thing to say if this person falls or slips at the door of my house, she'll leave the door. I don't even bother to help her, much less spend money on calling an ambulance, because what you do is what you pay for.

06/05/2025: We had the most lovely stay at Carrygerry. The house and location are just beautiful, and the staff were all so kind, warm, and friendly. Everything was very clean, and the FOOD - absolutely delicious! The strawberry jam made in house was so delicious, I had to bring a jar home (they also sell their own jams and chutneys!). We were in the Orchard room, and the bed was very comfy. The en suite bathroom was very clean and included some small toiletries. There were also radiators in both the bathroom and bedroom in case you needed some warmth, as well as a courtesy hairdryer, tabletop fan, and alarm clock. I loved all the old charm in the decor, and everything seemed lovingly maintained. Would absolutely recommend and I would definitely stay here again if we come back to Ireland!

27/04/2025: Beautiful views considering proximity to everything. In need of some maintenance: out of date info in printouts, faucets that require muscle to shut off, that sort of thing. When you consider the age of the facility, it's in good shape overall. In general, a positive experience and a good value for the money.

23/04/2025: Fantastic service and great portion sizes.

18/04/2025: Today, I went for soup, chips, latte and cheese cake. The soup was amazing and the brown bread was super. The latte was fine with strong coffee taste which is needed after a long morning. The cheese cake was OK a little sweet for me but everything was good. The place was so clean and the waitresses were so nice, the food came quickly. A very cosy atmosphere and nice to sit down for a chat.

31/03/2025: Heard so much about this place that I booked it with work colleagues and I’m so glad I did. It is 100% worth the drive and the Hype! The food was out of this world, everyone of us said Oh my God atleast twice I cannot recommend them enough and I will definitely return. My only regret is not coming here sooner!

23/02/2025: Cogan' s was recommended by the bar man in O'Loughlins. He was spot on. A warm welcome, good choice on menu. Food was good and priced fairly. We will be back when we visit Co. Clare again

29/04/2025: Went here recently for a spur of the moment breakfast with friends and kids. Very welcoming and relaxed and child friendly. Great variety on the menu - everything was delicious and fresh. It was quite busy with a nice mix of people. Definitely will try again

28/12/2024: Veggie breakfast was 13 euro which thought was pricey but to find out when I was paying the bill that tea was not included. So for a veggie breakfast I paid 14.50. Understandably hotel prices but not cafe prices. It was noted on menu tea and toast included. My daughter had a protein breakfast which was 13 euro. She was charged extra for her glass if milk price 1 euro a glass. Chips were 3.50 which were not nice. Service was so slow. In total for two people for breakfast was 33 euro. Ridiculous prices. Won't be returning.

17/05/2025: My stay at Hotel Doolin was remarkable and while the rooms were outstanding, what stood out the most was the way the staff goes out of their way to ensure that you have a comfortable stay and leave happy. When our vehicle didn’t start on the morning of our departure, the hotel manager himself took time out of his day to help us out and he was so kind and had a great sense of humor about it all. The location is perfect for enjoying the town of Doolin, as well as the many attractions in the area. Staying here will make you feel like you are family.

15/04/2025: We had a wonderful stay here! Hersh was incredibly helpful at check-in and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We didn’t know all the food places closed around 9pm. Without us asking, Hersh offered to see if he can call the attached pub if they can still make us a meal. We had a lovely meal at the Fitz pub with yummy food, amazing staff and wonderful live music. Highly recommend this place!

07/04/2025: Such a cool, old pub with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The barman was super friendly, We were lucky enough to be seated near the fireplace, which made the experience even more cozy and enjoyable.

15/02/2025: If it's a step back into nostalgic ireland your looking for,look no further ,dosnt get any more traditional Irish,from the traditional music to the pint of stout .this is a true rarity in modern Ireland

26/05/2025: Beautiful 4 star old manor house with a mid-level hotel, restaurant and spa attached. IMO the old manor part is 4 star while the hotel parts built later are mostly 3 star. No air conditioning or fridge in the rooms we booked, but bathroom had been updated with new fixtures recently. Good buffet style breakfast and location about 20 minutes from Cliffs of Moher.

25/05/2025: We travelled as part off a coach party, and left with mixed feelings with the Falls Hotel On arrival we were dropped at the rear of the hotel and handed our keys then directed through building works to the lifts, our room was on the 2nd floor with reception being on the 4th floor , the room was clean with a nice view of the river but although big we thought it was dated even though we are over 60. the shower seemed very old and the water pressure very low, we didn't complain because being with a coach party we thought it might be a selected room grade, maybe we should have enquired about a upgrade if possible, the location, views including the cascade brilliant ( shame you didn't fill before we arrived 😄) , staff, and food were very good the village pubs definitely proper Irish bars and very welcoming.
