05/02/2026: A very mixed experience. The Cliffs of Moher are stunning, but the organization left much to be desired. The bus forced us to stop at an unappealing blue pub, with the bus doors locked, making us feel pressured to buy drinks. The smell of fried food was strong, and the place was unpleasant. It was clear this was a commercial partnership at the expense of the customers. This kind of practice is very disappointing.

25/01/2026: Authentic cosy vibes with a diverse menu. My portion size was a little small but my wife's was ample so I guess it depends on what you order. Our bill was a (now reasonable) €40 for 2 people for drinks and food with tip.

07/01/2026: Hands down the best cafe I have ever eaten in that consistently serves delicious, fresh, high quality food suitable for vegetarians, vegans and those that enjoy meat. The staff are all so friendly and helpful and provide a first class service. This cafe is a must visit.

20/01/2026: Great pub in Miltown Malbay and so glad we came here. Staff are brilliant, particularly Olivia who was so chatty and helpful throughout our visit. Great atmosphere in the evening with the live Irish music and felt at home with the locals who were so welcoming!

09/11/2025: What can one say about a space that is so special as this? Just go and see for yourself… I’ll be dreaming about this town, and this wonderful spot for the rest of my life. Margaret does a wonderful job making you feel like family, treating each and every patron with respect and a warm smile. It feels like home… the true Irish experience.

17/11/2025: Really good! Had a great, proper espresso and the loaded sourdough that I had was amazing, so flavourful and well spiced. It was a real standout meal on my Ireland trip!

09/11/2025: A fabulous find for two new expats. Great food, an entertaining and welcoming publican with a great sense of humor, and a warm cozy ambience (thank you for not playing 1980s American music). We’ll be back!!

03/11/2025: We visited Cogan's with a party of 8 and got seated immediately though it was relatively busy at the time. The waiting staff were friendly and attentive. The food was excellent, good choices and plenty of it. The slight downside was the price of the ciders which was excessive unfortunately but didn't spoil our enjoyment of the fine cuisine.

30/11/2025: We had our school Christmas staff night out on Friday night, superb service and atmosphere…..we’ll definitely be booking again!!

25/11/2025: We celebrated our engagement at the Monks Well recently and the service received from Geraldine was 10/10, the place looks phenomenal. Everyone kept saying how lovely the place is and there was so much food to go around! Adrian and Diane have done a fabulous job of the place!

01/10/2025: The food is outstanding. The service is superb. The atmosphere is arguably the best part. The dimmed lights and music are perfect. I’m so glad we found this dinner spot!

01/10/2025: We were on holiday passing through Lahinch and selected The Edge for an early dinner at the recommendation of the owner of (or a worker in) Sue’s Lahinch Limited clothing store. It was an excellent dining experience, from the service, atmosphere, cleanliness and timing. But what’s most memorable for me and my husband was the SEAFOOD CHOWDER!! It is quite literally the best soup I’ve ever had in a restaurant! I am certain, the next time we visit Ireland we’ll plan a few days in Lahinch for sole purpose of enjoying the seafood chowder, oh and dining experience too! Kudos to the chef and the creator of the recipe. Know that I will be craving your soup from Ohio, likely for the rest of my life 😍. Well Done!!

30/12/2025: What a wonderful hotel for our christmas break. Fabulous experience. If you are considering a treatment in the Spa, ask for Daisy. This girl has healing hands.

29/12/2025: Fabulous scenery and walks. Rooms big and comfortable. Food was fantastic. Highly recommend for family or group visit.

13/12/2025: Very good, nice christmas atmosphere, food was lovely and service very quick which is handy when we had 2 small boys with us. Kids menu available.

21/01/2026: Shona was the best tour guide, letting us sample so many chocolates and teaching all about the chocolate making process! Definitely stop by! Ps. The hot chocolate was amazing!!

21/01/2026: Got chocolate when we visited from USA. Never in my life have I had such amazing, perfect goodness! Even though Intl shipping is expensive, we occasionally order. It's WORTH THE $!
