14/07/2025: Hotel Doolin is a must stay! My fiance (now husband) and I stayed here for a few days last month while we were getting ready to elope at the Cliffs of Moher. The location was perfect to stay in before our big day. The staff were so lovely and helpful, it really made a difference for us & the local food and drinks were great as well. We got to see a bit of the end of the Doolin Folk Fest so it was great to be surrounded by good music. Definitely will come back here the next time we visit Ireland! - Monica & Mike

23/06/2025: What a delicious and hearty meal at Cogans Bar & Restaurant! We were famished from a long day of travel and thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. The mussels, seafood chowder and fish and chips dishes were lovely. Highly recommend for a quality meal while you’re in town! Very nice ambience at Cogans for a family dinner. Thank you to Garrett for the exceptional service and conversation. We learned so much about local culture from him!

14/07/2025: Casual counter-service restaurant with overwhelming options and very little guidance on how/where to order. Food was great, especially the Peppermill Toastie! People were friendly. No wifi

11/07/2025: Very disappointing. I visited here on Thursday morning for breakfast with my mam and granda and the portion is so ridiculously small for the price. It wasn’t a mini breakfast we ordered, it was the full Irish!! The ‘potato cakes’ were definitely yesterdays mash , beans or anything else were add on. I visited here about a year ago or so and the portions were normal but they have since switched to tiny rectangular plates to get away with small portions but still the price was expensive for what you get and the quality. Anyway I won’t be returning.

14/05/2025: Pancakes & chilli eggs are absolutely unreal. Won’t find a better breakfast in Ireland. Cleanest & nicest fry I’ve ever had. Frank is a perfectionist & drives high standards in everything he does in life. Best of local produce; Molloy's sausages, Meere's pudding, Kelly's rashers, free range eggs & Anam coffee. Everything Frank & Martin send out is top notch. Staff are absolutely lovely. Siobhán, Nancy, Pauline, Marianna, Jenny always so welcoming & friendly! They go above & beyond to make sure everyone has a lovely experience in S&G. Very lucky to have a place like this in Ennis. Well done to all the staff in Sweet & Green top class.

06/05/2025: We came here for brunch while travelling and were VERY happy! The staff and servers were very nice and attentive and we felt very welcome 🥰 We tried the Chilli Eggs, French Toast and the Pancakes and were really happy with each of them! Can only recommend to eat here if you’re ever in Ennis or near!

19/06/2025: I had the goats cheese and Chrizo salad. It was 99% goats cheese and impossible to eat! Really can’t understand why people rate the food here. Coffee is good though.

03/06/2025: Stumbled upon this cafe by chance. As soon as we entered we were greeted with a smile and instant service and a table. The food was great and the menu had everything you could want for a brunch. But the staff were excellent, lot of young people but know their jobs and very attentive which stood out. Highly recommend.

25/06/2025: We stayed three nights in The Lodge ( Duck house) which is a self accommodating building. It a lovely stay with more than enough room for the six of us. Close by to the pool and Spa area.

28/02/2025: Comimos aquí dos veces. Una vez en persona y otra con servicio de habitaciones. Primero cenando. El restaurante es absolutamente hermoso. Cada persona que trabaja aquí es profesional, pero también amable y una alegría para hablar. Nos hicieron sentir tan especiales y también como si fuéramos amigos. Como nota complementaria rápida, en el bar, el joven que trabaja allí también es una joya. Dromoland Castle es una suerte tener un personal tan encantador. Para nuestra comida, nos trajeron pan y mantequilla. Se sirve frío. Preferimos el pan caliente, pero el pan frío era lo normal en los restaurantes que visitábamos. Para empezar tuvimos el tartar de atún y la sopa Tom, se nos olvidó todo el nombre. Ambos eran tan buenos. El atún sabía fresco y la sopa estaba caliente y muy bueno. Para la red, pedimos el filete de angus y la olla pollo asado. El filete era tierno y sabroso. El pollo servido no era lo que figuraba en el menú. En el menú no hay menciones de setas o pasta y se enumera como una comida sin gluten. Lo que se sacó fue pollo con pasta y hongos. No dije nada, solo aparté la pasta y los hongos del pollo, comiendo solo la carne. El pollo estaba perfectamente cocinado y era bueno. Para el postre, pedimos el helado de vainilla y sorbete, delicioso y ligero. La noche siguiente pedimos servicio de habitaciones. Intentamos pedir el filete de nuevo, pero nos dijeron que no estaba en el menú. Así que pedimos el tartar de atún (de nuevo) y la costilla corta de angus negro. Los caballeros que trajeron nuestra comida lo preparó tan agradable y de nuevo fueron geniales. El atún estaba tan bueno como la noche anterior. Las costillas cortas estaban tiernas, pero mi marido prefería el filete de la noche anterior, solo su gusto personal. En conjunto, este es un restaurante maravilloso con buena comida y gente encantadora.

My partner loved his crab gnocchi, venison and pecan dessert ✨ Amuse bouche and complimentary sweet treats to top it all off! On top of a lovely rose and chocolates as a Valentine’s Day treat 💘 Thanks so much to Ian, Eric, Lily and the whole team for taking care of us from start to finish! Also absolutely beautiful harp playing 🎼 I loved it and highly recommend for your special occasions
