29/10/2024: My husband had been craving a seafood chowder and I read great reviews about this pub and it did not disappoint. We had the chowder and garlic mushrooms to start and they were both delicious, they were kind enough to share a main course of cottage pie between my kids and they ate every bite it was so tasty. I had the vol au vents and my husband had the curry. We couldn't fault any of it, it was so good and everyone around us was so friendly.

31/10/2024: Indeed the cliffs are very impressive but why should we pay to see the landscape... But I gave one star for the lack of maintenance of the trail. With an entrance fee of €7 we expect at least that the trails will be maintained: numerous puddles of water, path for the passage of only one person while the cliffs are very busy (one person is killed by falling from the cliff :-(
Also pay close attention to the barbed wire along the path which is very dangerous for children.
In short, the price is not acceptable given the maintenance of the site
29/10/2024: Breathtaking view, fortunately very sunny day, to make the most of the view to the Aran Islands and Galway Bay. Unfortunately, one of the hiking trails was closed for work but we were able to take advantage of the other paths to have several viewpoints.

27/10/2024: Cool ambiance with a beautiful view of the cascade. I had an Argentinian Humita delicious and homemade taste. Variety of food for lunch and good quantity. There were options for kids and also gluten free toasty. You can also find regular pasta, steak and fish. The waitress was lovely and patient. Highly recommended.
14/10/2024: Quaint atmospheric restaurant, fabulous outside balcony overlooking the falls, great variety on the menu.

10/10/2024: A really lovely spot with a lovely team. We had to unexpectedly travel for a bereavement and have restricted diets. I called beforehand to see if they could accommodate us and they were so helpful. The whole team were genuinely lovely, the food was so fresh and delicious. We will come back again, a real gem of a place.

08/10/2024: Margaret is easily the most impressive Publican in Ireland! She had complete control of her bar on a busy Sunday evening all on her own, pouring drinks for regulars as they walked in the door, all whilst making Irish Coffees and some cocktails for tourists.
And she always has time to stop, chat and have the craic.
A fantastic selection of whiskeys and a cosy space to boot; this is the best bar in Clare, hands down.

I was disappointed however that there were no alcohol free options on draught and the only option was zero zero bottles of Heineken. Restaurants and bars should provide plenty of choice rather than a single overpriced option.

10/11/2024: Worst food in Ireland. I guess they think it’s ok to trick the tourists because they are not going to return anyway. A Complete rip off. Nice Pub but went somewhere else for a pint afterwards because the food was so bad. One star for the atmosphere which was created by the tourists. Next time I am in Bunratty I will try the place across the road for food. Had to get a burger somewhere else on the way home.
