27/11/2025: Wow, Wow, Wow. What an experience, enjoyed every second of the 4hrs we were there. The food is beyond delicious, words fail me when I think of the flavors. We were treated like royalty from the minute we arrived to when we left.

28/10/2025: Terrible experience. We went to this pub just after church time on a Sunday. The lady at the bar was really unfriendly. We order two Irish coffee… well the were really bad. It seems like juste burnt coffee without any whisky inside, I have to admit she puts coca powder on top. I will definitely never go back to this pub again.

28/11/2025: Teach Nan Phaidi’s is a wonderful cafe. The food is delicious and so fresh. I had the vegan dish (orzo with salad) and others in my party had the lasagne and the beef Guiness stew. All the meals were delicious and the portions were generous. The staff are very friendly and the service is great. As the cafe is so good, it gets very busy when all the tourist buses arrive so you have to try and get in quick before the rush! At busy times, people share tables with strangers which I think is really sweet. My favourite part of the cafe has to be the resident robin who flies in every day looking for grub!

17/11/2025: Cute little place with nice food. We got simple tomato soups with brown bread that hit the spot. Pricier but not unexpected given the tourist activity on the island. Nice to hear Irish spoken at nearby tables.

29/10/2025: This is a wonderful coffee shop! With good, delicious coffee! It's sometimes difficult to find parking near it, but there is a parking lot. If you're in Kinvara, don't pass it by; this place is worth a visit. The people at this cafe are always very friendly. I have nothing more to add; I've said it all. It's my choice, my freedom, and my right. Just like my opinion 😄 You may agree or disagree, but I'll be right.

16/11/2025: What a gem! We’d happily take a long detour just to come here. Hate to admit it - but as the Copenhagen coffee snobs we probably are - we were genuinely excited to find a place that truly knows their craft. Everything they serve is excellent 🫶🏼 Hot chocolate is the best we’ve ever had. The only thing missing to make us fully homesick would be a bun with butter and cheese. We may or may not have gone three times. (We did.) Great job, guys!

13/11/2025: Our stay at Abbeyglen Castle Hotel was wonderful. The castle has so much character, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff were warm and attentive throughout our visit. One of the absolute highlights was the evening talk. Hearing the history of the castle and the surrounding area brought the whole experience to life and made the stay feel even more meaningful. It was engaging, fun, and something that set Abbeyglen apart from any other stay we have had. We would love to return on our next trip to the area.

13/11/2025: Unbelievable experience! Management & staff are so good! November 14th, 2025: I need to say more as I didn't do it justice with the brief comment above. We simply loved this place. If we were ever to visit Ireland again, Abbeyglen Castle Hotel would be on the TOP of our list of places to stay!
