14/08/2026: Extortionate delivery fees aside, tried to order from this place on two separate occasions, both times the order was cancelled with no reason given.

28/06/2026: Me and my partner went In yesterday for lunch and the cafe floor and tables were filty and 3 staff on the counter and no costumers at the counter at the time there was no clean tables to sit at and we had to clear a table to sit at if I had seen it before I ordered I would have left it.i took pictures to prove the mess but no option here to post them because it was really bad

13/04/2026: Great little Cafe. We stopped in for breakfast and it was really good. Service was fast and friendly! Highly recommended.

03/08/2026: Amazing afternoon meal in Foleys yesterday. The staff were excellent and the owner was so welcoming. Menu is very extensive and offers a delicious range of food. The cocktails were incredible. My friend’s father stayed there and said the bedrooms were stunning. Highly recommend Foleys for anyone staying in Kenmare or anyone who wants to dine or have a drink there. I visit it every time I am down and I will definitely be back in the future.

16/05/2026: Tasty vegetarian breakfast (missing something though, maybe add halloumi?), but unfortunately I can’t say the same for the coffee. The smashed avocado (forgot to take a pic) was smothered in hollandaise sauce, which took away the flavour of the avocado. The service was great, the young girl who served us was very friendly and accommodating.

29/09/2026: We had a great night here the barman was so professional and welcoming.We took part in the pub quiz which was good fun and met some friendly locals.It really was an enjoyable night.Well worth a visit.

30/08/2026: Very professional bar staff here - they were attentive to everyone despite it being busy and gave very quick service. Staff were friendly. Nice beer garden. Live music when we visited.

24/09/2026: Anyone wanting to experience Ireland will feel right at home in this atmosphere. What some might consider "a bit dated," we see as the quintessential Irish charm. If you're looking for five-star dining, this is obviously not the place. However, they do offer excellent local cuisine. The food is delicious, freshly prepared, and the staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, and efficient. We'll definitely be back. A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful team!

19/09/2026: A typical Irish pub with good, reasonably priced beer and super friendly staff.

20/09/2026: The place was not busy yet we waited for 10-15 minutes for no obvious reason. Loads of staff walking around not engaging with customers. We ordered two Acaii bowls. The price charged was €1 more per bowl than advertised. When I pointed this out the guy serving us said that he couldn’t change it. We said ok. Another server then came to make up the bowls. He didn’t engage with us at all. We paid for the large bowls but he didn’t fill them up. There was no fruit on one of them. When I pointed this out. The server just shrugged his shoulders. They have a lovely visual of an Acaii bowl on their website. It’s an expensive treat and what we got left a lot to be desired.

20/09/2026: Bit pricy for drinks alone. Tea is €3.50 plus a 50c flat charge for a splash of oat milk (€4 total). Steep for tea drinkers. My friend also got tea so they gave us a pot to share. Maybe reassess charging for alternative milks in tea when not as much milk is used as would be in lattes etc...

26/07/2026: I came in while waiting for the bus. The lady there was super friendly. We had a quick chat. The space is bright w a lovely vibe to sit and chill. There is a space out back for smoking. The bathroom is clean. It is wheelchair accessible.

04/08/2026: A cosy, colourful little café in a cute village, perfect for a stop on a long drive. The sandwiches are delicious, on plump toasty bread and really nicely presented. Lovely choice of desserts, but there's also a very tempting icecream counter which attracts a lot of happiness off the streets. Lots of tourist souvenirs for sale as well as some usual newsagent supplies. There staff are friendly and fast with orders, the place is a gem.

26/07/2026: Go 10 minutes down the road to Cafe Rose instead. We ordered sandwiches and waited 20 minutes until we asked how long it would be. They said 10 more minutes. There were two staff that we could see, it was a week day and not busy. We got our money back and left.

19/09/2026: Had the most tasteful Steak Sandwich tonight from Jimmy & Seamus McGlynn’s Restaurant-100% highly recommended 👍🏻
