28/11/2025: Service was terrible. The place was very quiet, yet I was left standing at the bar for seven minutes before I was served. There was only one person in front of me. Staff refused to take more than one drinks order at a time. Guinness in served from a push button tap, and wasn't the best, I can accept that, but what I cant accept is rude staff that literally ignore you.

17/11/2025: Be careful with your electronics as there insurance policy may not allow you into the building be it with an electric wheel chair or other larger devices

05/10/2025: Food was lovely. Went for the bottomless brunch. Host was AMAZING. She was so accommodating and kind. Would come back for the service alone.

11/08/2025: Went for the bottomless brunch yesterday and we all had a great time. Food was good, drinks were constant. Staff was extremely lovely and went above and beyond for us. Amazing experience

20/09/2025: Absolutely super service, real moment of truth stuff and they delivered big and saved the night. Highly recommend the crew here. Ambience of a quiet place to eat if you're in the hotel on business.

10/09/2025: It's a hotel bar that serves food. Went for something that was on the menu online, not on the menu. Wanted a cold cocktail, no bartender on so settled for a Guinness, that someone at the bar instructed the server how to pour. Food was average and under seasoned. Atmosphere was rather blah. Server could have used a little help, and a little deodorant. (Sorry)

23/11/2025: Says they close at 7pm but they won’t let us in at 6.55 to get one chocolate.

19/11/2025: Coffee is normal, chocolate is amazing The guy working inside is rude, asked us to leave while making my cup ready because they are busy

01/12/2025: Place was lovely toilets not attended to at night packed with Xmas parties everyone merry except the staff who barely smiled and looked like they don't want to be there

30/11/2025: No pictures taken as the food was looking amazing, couldn’t help it! The waitress was super friendly and attentive. We sat next to the kitchen and could see all product was fresh and was done at the moment (for example the burgers) Will come back go sure!

23/10/2025: Had a great night until they watered down my 2 drinks and charged me for 2 more when I told them they were watered down. I wasn't the only one at the bar getting watered down drinks as 2 other people beside me said the same thing. If you want value for money don't drink here! Bar staff didn't believe me until I was adamant they taste the drinks also.

06/09/2025: Nice cosy cafe with a homely atmosphere. I got tea which came on a nice tray with a cute milk pot and tea pot. I also got the pancakes with berries and cream which I forgot to photograph. They were nice but very chewy and I sadly had to ration my berries and cream, I would've liked double the berries and cream.

25/08/2025: I recently stopped by this cozy café and decided to try their turkey melt, an apple, and a flat white. Everything was delicious, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The staff were wonderful, too. If you’re in the neighborhood, I definitely recommend checking it out. They offer a nice selection of pasta dishes, sandwiches, wraps, and plenty of tasty treats as well.

07/09/2025: Went in for carvery today 2 adults and a baby .food was v v poor won't ever be going back first and last visit won't lie haven't felt great since and either has my partner.

07/09/2025: Only popped in for a coffee (Irish). At about 10.30 am it seemed to be the only place open at the time. Friendly welcome from the staff in a pleasant environment. LP

14/12/2025: Food was grand, however the service is some of the worst I’ve experienced. No cutlery was provided and had to get up and find it from behind the bar myself. I asked two different servers for tap water and still didn’t get any. There are a lot better places to get breakfast in Dublin.

30/10/2025: I got breakfast bap. All ingredients were old not fresh, hard to chew, taste wasn’t good. Really bad experience

03/08/2025: Absolutely astonishing place for a nice pint. I was wandering around Clone Strand Beach when I found the pub so I decided to stop for a pint and enjoying the sunset. There is a large carpark where you can easily park your car or motorbike. I would suggest to stop here.

07/12/2025: We came in for a drink and I was refused at the bar for not having my ID. Fair enough, we usually don’t get ID’d, but we completely understood and decided to leave. I went upstairs to tell my friend, and before we could even walk out, a female staff member followed us upstairs and told us to leave in an unnecessarily hostile tone, I turned to my friend and made a comment at my friend saying that it was crazy since we’ve never been ID’d before, and the staff member responded with “wow that’s crazy” in a condescending tone while turning her back on us, completely unnecessary, but we didn’t argue. We then went home, got our IDs and came back. We were served at the bar with no issues until about an hour later, the same lady approached our table and said “you need to leave,” again in an extremely rude, snappy and aggressive tone. When we explained that we had brought our IDs and had already been served, she responded with “mm that’s cute,” in a condescending tone and walked away. Even the table beside us noticed her unprofessional and rude behaviour making a comment to us that her actions were really rude and condescending and disturbed the section. We were shocked by her nasty attitude and before approaching the rude staff member directly, we first asked another staff member at the bar for her name, we described her, a dark haired, short ginger woman. Not only did the bar staff refuse to give her name, they even denied she was an employee and said there was nobody ginger working there, which is honestly unbelievable given she had been working the floor the whole time. We then went to speak to her directly and found her busy chatting with her friends. We tried to calmly ask for her name, which she immediately became defensive and unprofessional. She continued cutting us off the entire time, not letting me speak even though I was genuinely trying to have a calm conversation. She continuously repeating that she had no obligation to give her name, which made no sense if she really believed she wasn’t at any fault. In the middle of this already uncomfortable situation, another bar staff member happened to walk by. When I asked him for her name, he just stayed silent and walked away. She then immediately said, “He’s not going to give it, I’m his manager,” in the same hostile, smug tone as before. The effort to hide her name and avoid any accountability was honestly shocking. She continued ranting about how she’s had to refuse so many underage kids all the time, as if that justified the way she spoke to us. It was completely irrelevant to our situation, we weren’t underage, we came back with our IDs, and we were already served at the bar with no issue after having IDs checked. Her personal frustration with other customers is not a valid excuse for the negative, hostile attitude she directed at us. To make it worse, the friends she had been chatting with decided to chime in as well, and she did absolutely nothing to stop them, if anything, she encouraged it by standing there letting them get involved. It was unbelievably unprofessional and made the whole interaction feel even more hostile. She asked what we’d do with her name, & when I said we intended to report her behaviour, both her & her friends scoffed & laughed at us. Interestingly after demanding we leave again the second time, she didn’t even bother checking our IDs once we said we had them. That alone shows this wasn’t about policy, and if it was then she’s obviously extremely incompetent at her job. We came in without IDs, got refused which was fair, left, and brought them back. What wasn’t okay was her attitude, the rudeness, the refusal to let us speak and the completely unprofessional way she handled the situation. Her frustration with underage kids is not a reason to treat others with disrespect. Absolutely horrible customer service. Thoroughly disappointed and would not recommend. For references, we do not look like teenagers, we are in our mid twenty’s and the table beside us was also extremely confused and made comments that we looked in our mid twenty’s.

02/12/2025: Was here the other day for food. The place wasn't that busy but it is just awful. It clearly lacks the basic needs and trained staff of running a Pub

16/10/2025: This venue is well located, walkable distance to the town & nice drive to Cong. Bedrooms are a good size. Bathrooms would benefit from an upgrade but are fine. Receptionist was quite cold but all other staff were very pleasant. Food was very good, though service was incredibly slow. Night porter was extremely helpful. Didn't use the leisure centre but it looked quite nice.

13/11/2025: Went in to get a sparkling water to drink with my medication around 11am told the girl I was just charging my phone before I can pay her. She then demanded I pay before I get served a drink 🤣 .. any other bar or restaurant in the town you can order a drink and pay afterwards it’s not like it’s a rough area. Her excuse was shes never seen me before neither have I and lived in the town my whole life. Won’t be back for a long time understand it’s hard to get staff that aren’t rude. Maybe send her for one day at manors school 🏫 probably wouldn’t be enough. Also 2 other staff behind counter wouldnt but in to give me a drink or defend her or me. 3 staff behind a bar 1 man youd think he could get a drink of water nevermind a beer 😭 also said if you have no money i cant serve you basically defaming my character of course i have money i would never go into a bar without money.
