09/08/2026: Went in with my partner at 5:50 on 9th August and ordered an oat iced velvetino and a hazelnut frappe with coffee. Iced oat velvetino was served perfectly but the hazelnut frappe was served without coffee. when I asked Katie behind the till she advised it had coffee in it yet the drink was pure white and only tasted of the hazelnut syrup. My partner then returned to the store and asked for the coffee to be added in which she was told to pay 75c for the coffee which we had asked for in the first place and was advised was in the drink. Very unhappy with the service provided and the attitude of the staff when questioned on this.

04/06/2026: Had soup of the day, delicious, home made and served with lovely home made brown soda bread. Definitely recommend

17/08/2026: Really disappointing experience. A customer asked why the toaster was slow, and the staff member glanced at me and said, “It’s from China.” The toaster is actually a European brand，and yes I'm from Asia. No hesitation, no awareness — just casually racist.

08/08/2026: You can get ready made over the counter sandwiches . These sandwiches are quite big and very filling. You can also get sandwiches made on the spot. I always go for the ready made behind the counter where you can get these toasted. Superb food market.

11/07/2026: The most disgusting place there can be! Noisy! The visitors are very noisy! Dirt and anti-sanitation in the room! It stinks disgustingly of cigarettes and alcohol! Just one horror!

24/04/2026: Had One of Costa Coffee's Winter Turkey Sandwiches 🥪 with a Nice Pot of Tea, The Sandwich was nicely Toasted and I would recommend Costa Coffee as a Good place to Eat in at. No Change still good to eat at, I just recently had a chicken and chorizo flatbread there with tea and some water and a good quick service. Tried a New Chicken and Pepperoni Bagel 🥯 In an updated visit. The Place is still Good 👍 👍 Still Recommended.

I’m giving the service 3 stars because there isn’t enough staff for the size of the place. The bartenders are overwhelmed, so it takes quite a while to get a drink. Also, when tables become available, there doesn’t seem to be anyone cleaning them or at least, I didn’t see anyone doing it.

14/05/2026: Usually it’s our favourite place for morning coffee and toasted food. And staff are always great. But today service by man with moustache Deni (I’m not sure how it was spelled) didn’t say a word to us didn’t add the name and just left our food on the counter quietly didn’t even said what order is that, and also food was cold not toasted as asked. It’s my first negative experience here first time in 5 years of visiting this place.

15/03/2026: I’ve been a regular customer for a long time, but this is honestly the worst hot chocolate I’ve received from Starbucks. The cup looked messy and the drink presentation was very poor. This is not the standard I expect.

04/07/2026: I visit this café every week, and the staff are always friendly despite being very busy. Special thanks to the Asian girl. she’s always smiling, efficient, and works incredibly hard. I hope her managers know what a fantastic job she’s doing!
