29/10/2025: Stopped here for food as we out abd about walking in the area , absolutely great place, friendly staff and customers, very very good pint of Guinness (and Im fussy when it comes to Guinness), we ordered 2x fish and chips, texan style burger meal and a roast type meal, all were cooked perfect, generous portions and extra chips brought to us at no cost. And the price is very reasonable too. Will definitely be back when next in the area.

02/08/2025: Came here the other day with our children and to meet up with a good friend...We decided to go for the specials board as definitely was value for money ...Big portions and very tasty...all the dishes were home cooked and the family and service was top quality... Definitely would recommend you call in here .lovely place ....

19/09/2025: My self and my friend called in yesterday for lunch after the ploughing championships. OMG what a disappointment. I had the special. Bacon and cabbage jezz it was all fat and tasted off 🤨. My friend ordered lasagna, which there was no meat!!! It was supposed to come with dide salad and chips. We had to ask the waitress for the salad and chips. Side salad came and again had to ask for chip. Unfortunately my friend had paid for the meal before I could complain 😕 it was disgusting I didn't even eat mine. We went to the bathroom before we left, passing the kitchen which was open view to the public. The kitchen was a mess. Open banmares which food everywhere and chef texting on his phone. Never again. How do they get away with this. 😝😡

14/05/2025: One star is a star too many!!! Deli Staff are rude , and their understanding of basic English is just shocking ,2nd time being here even though the first visit was just as bad, I will never be here again ...its disgusting and should be avoided at all costs ...DISGUSTING

04/12/2025: A very overpriced bar, the draught beer is exceedingly expensive and not great quality. It is hard to get a bad pint of stout these days, however the courtyard consistently manages to. Food is expensive and nothing special.

18/12/2025: Was just there for drinks. Literally just finished our second drink. Old man came by and interrupted our conservation and asked if we wanted another. Thought about it for a second... not right now. Then says do you mind if i bring someone over here? We're confused. He proceeds to say we were sitting in her regular spot and she's elderly. We ask are you telling us to leave? And he says well you're done...you're taking up three spaces. We didn't arrange the stools. We just finished our drinks, most likely would've ordered another. There were plenty of empty seats at the front. If he would've went about it a different way, all would have been fine. Maybe ask us to move down to accommodate another stool or maybe ask if we mind moving to another seat. But no, we were asked to leave the moment we finished our beer. Never in my life has this happened to me before. You kind of leave in shock, wishing you would have spoken up in the moment. Also, I'm probably one of the few people who actually left a tip and still asked to leave.

12/12/2025: Well, well, well. Let’s just say, cocktails have never been crafted with such care and ease. This place. THIS PLACE. made me feel like a cherished guest, the way loving parents treat their favourite child (and in this case, Conways definitely delivered). I’ve never felt so appreciated and looked after. I felt truly seen, like someone who genuinely matters in Irish society. And I have to mention the lovely waitress with the bangs — she reminded me of my ol’ aunt, the one who always made me feel welcome and valued. The O’Haras beverage? Fantastic. Just one of the many highlights of this wonderful establishment.

19/09/2025: Clean, prompt, good vibe, easy interaction. I'm a fusspot who always makes my own breakfast, and the lady was 100% there for that and everything came out perfectly. Great place for a nice traditional breakfast, 100% happy with the experience.

05/09/2025: A true Irish pub, this one can say is 100% Irish. Irish food is served here, and of course, a full Irish breakfast. I can tell you, after a full Irish breakfast, you don't need food for the rest of the day, but it all depends on how much money you intend to spend. Birthday parties are held here; the pub is huge, so you can do whatever you want.

12/10/2025: Great coffee shop..can be very busy on weekends. They need to develop better system for people queuing. It's very disorganised. Great coffee and cakes.

16/09/2025: Sorry to say that, but this is a quite horrible place. Filthy as hell, nobody understands you (the Tuna Melt I ordered turned into a Chicken Pesto Roll) and it's just not a welcoming place at all. I think every prison canteen has more charm. A shame for a beautiful place like Marlay Park.

15/11/2025: The presumed owner is absolutely miserable. Went in tonight and sat in the corner with my wife at a little 2 person table while I had a pint and she had a water (she’s pregnant) before we went home for the night. We were only there about 20 minutes and I was more than halfway through my pint when the owner came over and told us if we’re not both spending money then we had to leave. In all my 35 years of visiting pubs all over Ireland I’ve never ever seen this sort of behaviour. If the owner is reading this just know you are miserable and you alienated a pregnant woman

08/10/2025: Easily the best local pub in Kinsale. The owners are great craic, and the pint of Guinness the best in town by a country mile. Really enjoyed the couple of nights that I spent here.

11/11/2025: Easily one of the dirtiest coffee shops I’ve ever been in. Tables, floors, and counters were all filthy - clearly no one’s keeping up with cleaning.

25/10/2025: Yummy Yummy? More like Runny Runny! Looks like I have to leave this review since they ignored my private message to them. I wanted to give them a chance to fix their problem but they don't care so here goes. Ordered a 4 in 1 and some deep fried wontons one Friday night 2 weeks ago. Started projectile vomiting 3 hours after the last bite of half of the 4 in 1. Had nothing else to eat that day since the morning so it was definitely the food from Yummy Yummy that caused it. As you can imagine, uncontrollable vomiting was not the only issue I had for 24 hours after I ate the food, but I'll spare everyone the gory details. Picture attached of the message I sent to give them a chance to explain themselves.

26/07/2025: I was disappointed with my recent visit. I paid €4.35 for a double espresso with cream and was not provided with a spoon. In addition, the table was sticky and the overall cleanliness of the place left much to be desired. This doesn’t reflect the standard of service or hygien

26/07/2025: I had a lovely experience in this shop yesterday afternoon. The girl on the till, her name was Robin I believe, was very friendly and helped me decide what drink I would like. After she made me the drink, she even offered to change anything if I didn’t end up liking it. It was wonderful to have staff who were so helpful and accommodating. I will definitely be returning!
