05/09/2025: I had a perfectly foamy cappuccino, the staff were amazing and polite, the shop was clean and well managed as well , special shout out to the barista named Rihan , made an amazing drink and very patient with us at the till, explaining the roasts, definitely coming back again.

10/10/2025: We were going to a wedding near by and it was the cheapest room in the area. Hotels in ireland are insane lately. It was an ok room, and breakfast was good.

05/10/2025: We had a very pleasant stay here. It’s very clean, quiet, and breakfast buffet was very good. Will definitely return on our next trip.

03/10/2025: Fidd was grand, nothing wrong with it, but nothing special either! One chicken burger and 1 vegan burger, both with chips and bit of mixed lettuce on the side. Very quiet Friday lunchtime in there, due to excessive rainfall outside. Helpful, friendly staff.

02/10/2025: Stopped by on a rainy day and basically had the place to ourselves. Beautiful place and good food. Service started fantastic but our servers shift ended before we finished and the person that took over wasn't the best.

09/10/2025: Joan is the loviest of waitresses. But the brasserie is let down by paper napkins, not enough gravy with the beef bourguignon and cheesecake that’s served too cold.

02/10/2025: The atmosphere is pleasant and relaxed, most likely because it is mostly older people over 60. Service a bit slow, but very helpful waiter. All in all, a pleasant stay, nice food. I will definitely be back.....

09/09/2025: Great location with a lovely outdoor seating area… when it’s not under the rule of the militant barista who runs it like Fort Knox. She’s Starbucks’ gold champion for fastest patio closure 2025 and presumably training hard for the 2026 title. One moment you’re enjoying your €6 flat white, the next the chair is whisked from under you and you’ve been displaced. The only time I’ve ever seen true light in her eyes is when she’s evicting people who have just bought their coffee. She’ll shut the patio down a full hour (sometimes an hour and a half) before close. Today, she even started cleaning an hour early, I assume she got her floggings in ahead of schedule to be so “gracious.” Now she’s advanced to closing off indoor seating too, packing up the front chairs like some caffeinated drill sergeant. There’s no stopping her. She must be stopped. Frankly, this is worse than Starbucks’ political affiliations. And when you’ve finally been booted out? She parades the chairs and tables in front of you with a possessed look of victory. Evil is afoot in Dún Laoghaire Starbucks.

26/08/2025: There is a thing called “observing consistent decline of quality” “seeing pathetic service” etc etc I’ve been such a regularly ordering customer through online platforms and it started off with great tight packaging with no drop spilling, but now, now it’s as filthy, leaking and wrecked orders - also, I don’t know why on earth - Starbucks is weirdly using a plain brown, weak packaging rather the Starbucks’s very own printed strong bags! Alarming, isn’t it! See the photo I’m uploading how pathetic it’s becoming now - you think the money we give you comes freely?

30/05/2025: My first visit to Yumm café was such a pleasant experience. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and one member of staff, in particular, went that extra little step . She was really thoughtful and gave an extra treat as I was leaving to attend a hospital appointment with a family member wishing us luck with the appointment. What a lovely random act of kindness. The cafe had such an array of cake, cookies, muffins and really good quality coffee. I will definitely visit again.

13/10/2025: Room was fine, dated but clean. Asked if I could check in early, but they wanted 60e to do so. Told them I was dropping off the bag and going, but was still 60e, so i left the bag with a friend. Breakfast not sure what's going on. Porridge or granola bowl, they bring out to you. No offer of any juice. Asked for eggs and sausages, brother asked for rashers, and 2 teas. Tea came in paper cups, barely any milk, breakfast then came on 1 plate! They must have thought we were going to have a romantic breakfast or something. Waiter was surprised when I asked for a 2nd plate so we didn't have to share breakfast off 1 plate. There's been minimalist and there's having a laugh!

18/09/2025: It's a perfect place to spend a few days in the area. The rooms are very spacious and the beds are comfortable. The reception staff is very friendly. Special mention to the cafeteria and its waitresses, who are pleasant and provide excellent service. We were also able to speak Spanish with one of them, and she offered to help us with anything we needed. It's truly comforting when you're in a country with a language other than your own and such a specific pronunciation. THANK YOU 🙂🙂

26/07/2025: The Phoenix Park cafe is in a great location. The owners have the luxury of getting a captive audience due to the volume of people visiting the park and the lack of places to eat. I feel that the food has gone downhill. I’ve been consistently disappointed with the last few visits. My last visit was at the end of June. We all ordered lasagne and the food was dry and tasteless. There was a lack of choice of salads on the day that we visited. This restaurant used to be great. It’s a shame.

06/06/2025: ¡Qué caída en desgracia! Hace unos años, este era un lugar increíble para comer con gran variedad y de primera calidad - no es así ahora. Hay poca variedad y mi pan tostado caro era horrible. El pan tostado carecía de queso y era duro como una roca - también puede haber sido cartón. El café no estaba mucho mejor. Los servidores eran agradables, pero no volveré. Esto no habría valido la pena a la mitad del precio.

04/09/2025: I haven't eaten anything worse in a long time. This place has lost a lot of its quality. The fries were half-raw, and the garlic sauce was greasy and topped with the cheapest cheese.

30/07/2025: Nice quiet pub. Liked music on the telly. Barmaid lovely person. They do lovely breakfast and ice cold drinks.

21/07/2025: Phew! We went around 2pm and it was empty... the food was good depending on the meal, the Irish burger is big and the club is good. The fries are not very good and in the chicken finger portion, they were reheated... Meh the restaurant I wouldn't go back but it does the job

26/07/2025: I was disappointed with my recent visit. I paid €4.35 for a double espresso with cream and was not provided with a spoon. In addition, the table was sticky and the overall cleanliness of the place left much to be desired. This doesn’t reflect the standard of service or hygien

26/07/2025: I had a lovely experience in this shop yesterday afternoon. The girl on the till, her name was Robin I believe, was very friendly and helped me decide what drink I would like. After she made me the drink, she even offered to change anything if I didn’t end up liking it. It was wonderful to have staff who were so helpful and accommodating. I will definitely be returning!
