05/06/2026: Do not be fooled by the simple and slightly messy look. The food and service more than make up for it! Everyone seems to be happy with their job, they treat you very well with a smile on their faces, that is so hard to find in hospitality nowadays. 🥇 Well done to them and thanks for a lovely brunch😊.

22/02/2026: My breakfast was served long before my partners arrived to the table even though we ordered the same breakfast at the same time! Grabbed the occasional coffee/hot chocolate here when doing our shopping in Dunnes but they are very inconsistent. 90% of them are not worth the money. Cold lattes and hot choc and sometimes way too little chocolate in the hot choc. Like drinking foamy warmish milk with a few marshmallows on top that can't even melt. Won't be wasting our money here again.

30/05/2026: Extremely disappointing Too Good To Go experience. I paid almost €8 for two bags and received only four sausage rolls. The advertised value should have been around €12–€15, but what I received appeared to be worth far less than what I paid. When I questioned this, the staff member seemed not to understand how Too Good To Go works and simply told me, “Go somewhere else if they give you more there.” !!!This was rude, unhelpful and completely unprofessional.!!!!!!!! AppleGreen needs to properly train staff on the Too Good To Go programme and on basic customer service. If employees are responsible for handing out orders, they should know what customers are paying for and treat them respectfully. I had previously heard complaints about unfriendly deli staff at this location, and unfortunately this experience confirmed those concerns for me. I will not be returning until staff attitudes and customer service improve…🙄

14/08/2025: Great all round, our man Ivan knows his stuff. Chatty & intersting but not intrusive lovely suggestions on wine. We will be back. Get that restaurant back open with the smoker 😁 Maith thú x

12/08/2025: Thoroughly looking forward to stopping here again to source some delicious wine. A useful spot in Ireland for a nice bottle of your choosing. Fingers crossed we see the restaurant again soon but for now, a charming wine shop with some snacks. Thank you

27/06/2026: We hosted our daughters 18th birthday party on the 26th of June at The Abbey Lodge. From start to finish it was a great experience! The staff were extremely helpful and really couldn't do enough for us! It was controlled very well (50 18 year olds!) but not is a intimidating manor by any means! Would highly recommend for a party venue!

22/05/2026: Favourite pub in Dungarvan It has a nice mix of the old and the new. For us "older", say mature, folk there the traditional side of the pub on the lowest level. For the younger folk, there's the noisier upstairs so there's the best of both worlds whatever your tastes.

19/05/2026: We had a hen weekend in Dungarvan recently and we couldn't be happier with the service that The Lady Belle offered. I got in contact with Deirdre a few months ago and she has been so helpful and supportive in organising this weekend. Any requests we had were implemented without question and lots of options were given. Communication was excellent throughout and as for her staff on the weekend, they were fantastic and again so helpful. We had the top floor as our private area for a few different activities. Would highly recommend Deirdre and The Lady Belle for any gathering and celebrations!

25/04/2026: We had a really disappointing experience here on a Saturday during the day. There were six of us, and we were refused teas and coffees etc. solely because we had a child with us. What made it worse was that there was another table right beside us with a young teenager, so the reasoning didn’t add up at all. It felt completely inconsistent and unfair. For a place that’s open during the day, you’d expect a more welcoming and reasonable approach. Safe to say none of us will be returning.

19/06/2026: The guy that delivered our coffee rubbed his fingers all over the rim of the cups! So gross and unhygienic. Please give some adequate training. Also, the watery whipped cream they serve with the cake is not OK - cake was good though.

06/06/2026: Coffee here is absolutely atrocious. Consistently awful. And it's the same in any Brambles café to be honest. Marlay, Knocklyon, St Enda's. Just absolutely brutal coffee, served scalding hot and burnt to hell, bitter and acrid.

07/04/2026: A nice starbucks. Lovely old building, great area for people watching. Usually everything in stock and fresh.

04/03/2026: Pretty good atmosphere all around. The staff is quick on their feet and friendly. I've mostly ordered different kind of loaded fries here and they were all tasty, albeit a bit pricey still. The cheese is never fully melted though and should probably be heated up before serving.

28/05/2026: There's no food served here. Only for tour groups with prior reservation. But it's a typical pub with local patrons.

11/05/2026: PLEASE STOP GIVING TAKEAWAY CUPS UNNECESSARILY. It’s such a shame that staff never ask if you want your hot drink to stay or to go but instead give you takeaway cups by default despite having real mugs. Takeaway cups are always lined with plastic and are a huge source of unnecessary waste that isn’t even being recycled. Watching customers drinking their hot drinks in takeaway cups while seated in the cafe and all the waste left behind is so disappointing.

Where did they get the staff from not welcoming people ignorance I would describe they don't like kids and definitely do not like dublin people would not recommend this place to anyone. I can see why no one is going in there anymoreas for the toilet it really needs to be revamped disgusting rusty 0 stars from me
