09/06/2025: It's been a while since we visited the Barge and delighted to see it hasn't lost its warmth and charm. The bar is very inviting with warm decor and down lighting. We were welcomed by the owner and 2 of his staff. We enjoyed a delicious Sunday lunch which was great value. The half portion is a great option. We had 2 kids and they were catered for with high chairs, tasty baby bowls and plastic cups. A very kind staff member even offered us a take away bowl. A real gem in the heart of Leitrim Village. And the pint looked perfect!

17/04/2025: Living in Naas 14 years. This Chinese is the best, I have to ring an hour ahead for my food. The ladies on the front desk are great crack, spice bags are savage & the bbq ribs are define. Curry sauce is lovely. Noodles are beautiful. Chicken balls a little on the greasy side but that’s okay.

29/06/2025: Sandra 100% servicio Visitamos el sábado por la noche, ya que el restaurante estaba cerca del hotel en el que nos alojábamos. El restaurante no estaba muy ocupado ya que llegamos bastante temprano. Nos recibió nuestro servidor que nos mostró a nuestra mesa, nos proporcionó menús y tomó nuestros pedidos de bebidas. Pedimos croquetas, la Angus hamburguesa y sopa del día que era de lentejas y el postre brownie. La comida era buena y fresca, pero era el servicio que era el mejor - era tan bueno que regresamos esta noche y tenía 3 platos cada uno. Gastamos 40€ esta noche. No habríamos vuelto si no hubiera sido por Sandra. La sonrisa no salió de su rostro. Ella era paciente, explicó el menú cuando tuvimos preguntas y nos registramos para ver si queríamos más bebidas. No estoy seguro de lo que el resto del personal estaba haciendo en la noche del sábado, ya que no estaba muy ocupado mientras estábamos allí. Esta noche estaban un poco más ocupados, pero no muchos sonreían y no parecían tan comprometidos a garantizar que sus comensales tuvieran una buena experiencia. ¡Salimos de Dublín mañana, lo cual es una pena, ya que habríamos regresado por tercera vez!

18/04/2025: la zona è tranquilla e piacevole, il locale ben inserito, parcheggio comodo, bella costruzione semplice e ben tenuta, interno accogliente da tipico pub, personale gentile, menù con piatti semplici e saporiti da birreria, ma non solo, prezzi nella media.

24/02/2025: Stopped here while following the Slea Head Drive, really happy as we didn't expect to find anywhere open for lunch on a Monday in February. Friendly, relaxed vibe, good food and brilliant location with views towards Skellig Michael.

01/06/2025: This venue shows no respect for the town or its residents. Extremely loud music continues deep into the night, well past midnight, disturbing anyone nearby. There is no sense of local charm or consideration — just noise. A very disappointing experience that leaves a negative impression of Kinsale.

28/05/2025: Shocking Behaviour – Disrespectful to Designated Drivers & Non-Drinkers Five of us went into this bar. Three of us ordered pints, while the other two asked for water, one is a designated driver, and the other has an illness that makes them unable to drink alcohol. The very rude staff member told us if we’re not all spending money then we have to leave. Since when does being sober mean you don’t have the right to sit in a pub? With people who are drinking? That kind of attitude is not just unwelcoming, it’s flat-out ignorant. People should be encouraged to act responsibly, not kicked out for it. Look elsewhere for basic respect.

06/07/2025: Dropped into for a cheeky pint, and we could’nt help but come back for another. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Seats inside and outside are V. comfortable. And the music on the speakers was excellent. We loved the atmosphere. Also outside seats are dog friendly +++

27/06/2025: hi all..really enjoyed food here .. The restaurant is back open again. It has a great selection of suhi and also oriental food..no drink licence there yet..so allowed bring your own..service excellent..we will definitely eat there again..highly recommend..

25/06/2025: Ordered noodles and rice with beef and a few other bits from LAM cuisine, absolutely incredible! The beef is honestly the best I've had in kilkenny. So soft and flavour full. Portion sizes very good making it great value for money. Highly recommend 👌

09/06/2025: I’ve actually never left a review even when I had bad food but this is how bad this was. I ordered a tuna melt. On the menu said it had mayo on it but besides the cheese and tuna, it was completely dry. The Tuna tasted completely off and was so so dry, no mayonnaise or oil or anything on it. Tasted like it had been left out or something. I took three bites out of a giant sandwich and couldn’t finish it. Just ate my chips and when I said it to the waitress she just said ok sorry and still charged me for the full thing! I couldn’t believe it, she let me pay for a nearly full sandwich that I couldn’t eat. There was not another soul in the place either, so they didn’t have the excuse of being busy.

10/05/2025: Nos alojamos al lado en el Aloft y cenamos aquí el día de nuestra llegada. OMG‼️. Estaba en el cielo. Tengo enfermedad celíaca y tenían esta increíble cerveza rebozada Fish n Chips que hacen con cerveza sin gluten. No he tenido esto en 37 años. El pescado era tan ligero, fresco y húmedo por dentro. Las patatas fritas también eran excelentes y celiacas seguras. Brownie sin gluten con helado de postre. Muy recomendable.

19/04/2025: De visita de los Estados Unidos y encontré esta joya de un restaurante. La pasta y la hamburguesa con queso eran excelentes, y las papas fritas de trufa parmesana eran para morirse. El restaurante es agradable, tranquilo, con aspecto actualizado. Excelente servicio. Lo recomendaría! Está un poco fuera del camino, pero a solo unos minutos a pie de Temple Bar (cerca de la hermosa calle iglesia y parque de Patrick - con vistas! ) , y totalmente vale la pena!

04/07/2025: En un viaje reciente a Kilkenny, tuve la suerte de pasar por el bar Marble City para almorzar. He visitado Kilkenny en muchas ocasiones pero nunca había comido aquí antes. Kevin, que era agradable, conversador y todo un caballero, me sirvió una comida deliciosa. Esto hizo que mi experiencia fuera muy placentera y tengo toda la intención de volver a venir aquí para comer.

04/07/2025: Tuvimos una comida fabulosa aquí hoy en el bar Marble City, llegamos sin reserva y tuvimos la suerte de que nos sentaran de inmediato, Kevin, nuestro camarero, fue muy amable, servicial y paciente con 2 comensales quisquillosos, la comida era deliciosa y una experiencia encantadora en todos los sentidos, volveremos.

16/06/2025: Our first pub stop at the start of our tour of The Wild Atlantic Way. Very friendly welcome from the staff and customers. They made a huge fuss of our Border Collie, Annie and made a great start to our holiday (not many dog friendly pubs found since)! Now on the 8th day of our 4 week tour and so far they served the best pint of Guinness I've had so far (the only o e I'd say that was better than in England). So thank you for your hospitality. We hope to find more pubs like yours over the next 3 weeks. Malc, Carrie & Annie.
