24/05/2026: Ive had 4 blended lattes this week from here and none had been drinkable. The ice hasn't been blended at all and wont go up the straw

03/05/2026: Classic cuisine solidly prepared and presented. There is a chef in the kitchen! I enjoyed two meals; The shrimp and avocado salad, simple and fresh. The seabass special had two fresh filets with skin on. Very nice. French onion soup and roast rump of lamb excellent. You can’t go wrong here that’s why I retuned for a second meal. Staff very attentive.

31/03/2026: Highly recommend visiting Toddy’s in the Gresham Hotel on O’Connell Street. We went as a large family group for food and drinks and it was amazing. Our waiter Lucas was fantastic, a great professional and so friendly. The food and drink were really good. I went for the vegan pasta and it was delicious. Go check it out if you are in the area. Great for large groups!

22/03/2026: Grazzi Grazzi Grazzi Grazzi mile mile mile. This pizza slaps harder than my mamas chinelas 😂😂 charred base, soft but not so soft it flops. Not thick either. Unreal topping filling covered getting filling every bite. 🔥🔥🔥🔥 within a shout for top 5 pizzas. Truly it was sooo worth what I paid and my friend from phillipines get her very first ever fish and chips and loved it. Chips are soooo goood. Crispy, seasoned perfectly, real chips.. this hit all the spots.. seating around the back of the bar.. sooo coming back again. Perfect bookend to a brilliant day out. Again top compliment to the Chef. Also Ps the bottle of soft drinks you get aren’t the baby bottles.. they’re the proper 330 mil bottles. Nice touch 👌

22/03/2026: The atmosphere was oreyt and enough Auld Boys around to take over the city. However, Guiness was one bubble short of a bath and the barman spent twice as long looking at my id as the border control officer when I arrived

23/03/2026: A big mug of coffee. And a seat that's not precariously minimalist but confidently, comfortably sittable in. From Pearse Station to College Green, tho coffee shops be two a penny, you'll find these two of life's comforts nowhere but Starbucks. All other contenders on the block are small, with a sprinkling of tiny stools. The few with actual chairs are full and the chairs don't look very comfortable anyway. And it helps that in Starbucks both the service and the tunes are smooth 👌

04/04/2026: The best take away Chinese food ever tasted. Ordering now for 3 years. Portions are huge, flavour never dips each week and the ladies are so friendly and always remember your name. It is always packed for collections which says everything.

12/05/2026: The welcome was very warm and the location pleasant. The rooms are a bit dated and some amenities could use updating, particularly the shower water which was only lukewarm. Also be aware: the music from the restaurant directly below is quite loud in the evening until 11 pm. Personally, it didn't bother me, but it might be a nuisance for early risers.

10/05/2026: Great location with great food. Staff was helpful and always available. Room was clean and well equipped. We faced the street which was great for us.

24/08/2025: We got the feeling that they didn't want to serve us at 8 p.m. They told us the kitchen was closed and there were people dining...

23/08/2025: We were there last Friday. Waitress was not customer friendly 2/10 I got tea with sour milk , a colleague got the smallest portion of risotto you could serve Rip off and terrible services. Unlikely to go back and we were regular.

04/04/2026: Venue and the comedians were absolutely delightful for the night. My comment really came from this waiter who came up to me and my friend who sat at the back of the venue and told me there's absolutely no talking during the show when I was mumbling to my mate about how funny the comedian on stage was while this table of guys next to us were flat out laughing like hyenas as per the comedian describes. Absolutely perfect line up with some serious questionable hospitality.

16/12/2025: . Kitchen unorganised. Waited too long for food (35mins). Burgers are on the menu that they don’t have. Was given house chips instead. Only 2 slices pepperoni, a few hidden pieces of bacon with a nice sauce and basic chips.

20/11/2025: Food was ok. Service was very slow. 2.5 hours for 3 course dinner and half an hour was waiting for the bill. Music was too loud in the restaurant and noise levels from nearby tables makes it difficult to hear your table companions further away.

02/05/2026: I ordered a double smashed burger and asked if its possible to add cheese, the kind waiter said yes. I got my burger there was no cheese, until now everything is fine because mistakes happen. But when I realised the lack of cheese I kindly asked if they could add some, the second waiter said “if you ordered it with cheese it has cheese”, it clearly didn’t but I just said I’ll eat it sure. After I started eating he came back and said “they indeed forgot to put the cheese” while smiling and I said “yeah I am aware”, but my request to add the cheese was just disregarded? I’m not a person that complains about things easily , I was also a waitress once. This was just very weird. No clear answer, “no we cannot do that” just very weird interaction… the butger was still very nice but the whole vibe just off.

15/04/2026: If you happen to not like Guinness, and you prefer local beer, they have Estrella Damm here and some really good tapas, 100% recommended! Even if you like Guinness too!! Moderate prices.

11/05/2026: Gorgeous, modern rooms & super central location. Convenient self check in (I found this process faster than the conventional in-person check in process!). Really cool foyer (great lighting for a group pic with the girls!). Comfy beds. Free parking available right outside the door - my friend was especially pleased to find EV charging points for her electric car.
