06/05/2025: Great coffee, cozy vibe, and friendly staff. Their flat white was smooth and rich. It’s a perfect spot to relax or get some work done. Highly recommended !

29/03/2025: The place feels dirty and the tables are not wiped down between patrons. The staff sneak in marshmallows and cream for an extra €1.20 without informing you of the charge. To add to the insult, the marshmallows look like they've just emerged from a packet that expired in 1963. Wouldn't send send my mother-in law there... avoid at all costa!

09/04/2025: The service is great but the store itself is dirty and dingy, when I went to the upstairs the tables were sticky, the downstairs is decently clean, they do not staff enough to complete orders and to keep the place clean, the food and drink are far too expensive. For a meal and a drink, you would be expecting to pay 15-25 euro, alongside this the food options are not ranged enough to allow for people with dietary restrictions

29/04/2025: The worst Chinese restaurant I have been to, mainly because of the quality of the food. We went in April, family gathering, 10 of us. Ordered the €46 all in for everyone. The satay chicken? What is that? Shredded I don’t know what? Not for human consumption. Same product in chicken dishes. Taken home by one of the party in a take home container. Could not identify the next day. When charging outrageous prices, you at least have to provide quality food. I gave this restaurant one star. It doesn’t even deserve that. One very unhappy customer that attended a family reunion in April.

19/02/2025: My wife and I dropped in here yesterday for dinner at luchtime.Everything was top class.An excellent dinner and dessert at a reasonable price.The staff were courteous and friendly.Very handy with a car park just opposite.Highly recommended!

12/02/2025: Stopped in here for good pub grub as have heard good things! However, what we got wasn’t up to the great standards people rave about. I ordered the lasagna, my partner got the stir fry and we got chicken wings to share. Chicken wings, couldn’t be faulted lovely and crispy. Lasagna was horribly dry, as if they attempted to heat it up and melt the cheese at the same time, with no clingfilm over it..so the mince dried out completely and clumped together. If I hadn’t of waited 15 mins already I would have sent it back. As for the stir fry, my dad’s old leather boots are of similar texture-super dry, to the point that if not washed down with a fizzy drink would definitely pose a choking hazard. My partner had enough and decided to wash it down with a cold pint of Heineken 0.0, Shur what could go wrong right? No. Glass clearly hadn’t been washed out properly or they had lemon fresh tablets in the dishwasher, Heineken with a hint of citrus! Not so yum! Over all, didn’t cause a fuss but wish I had of because the food was just not up to par at all. Lovely staff, could be more attentive but hey! Who wants staff checking in on them anyways👌

10/05/2025: The accommodation didn't convince us. Unpleasant smells in the room. Breakfast is only available from 9am!!!! Way too late!!!! All the smell from the kitchen came in through the window. At breakfast there was the bare essentials, but nothing more. Oh, before I forget. You don't need to look for a remote control for the TV. There was none to be found. Unfortunately, even when we asked about it, we were not helped. The girl at the reception was very nice. We ordered several tapas. But honestly the prices are an outrage. Unfortunately a disappointment...

28/01/2025: Wonderful hotel with AMAZING staff. A group of us had a wonderful stay in The Price of Wales to celebrate mid-term and meeting up after covid. We had a beautiful lunch with wonderful service from an amazing lady, we had such much fun and laughs over lunch. Later, we had a beautiful evening meal in the bar followed by cocktails. The young man working the night shift warmly welcomed us back after a few hours hanging out in the local bars. He was so friendly and helpful despite the late hour. Rooms were spotlessly clean. The shower and coffee machine were both brand new. Would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a central location,free parking, amazing staff. We will return. Thank you all Monica & Co

22/12/2024: We went to the Prince of Wales Hotel in downtown Niagara-On-The-Lake specifically for High Tea. We have been to many high teas in different towns and cities. The one here has to be the absolute worst!!!The smoked salmon sandwiches (not a traditional high tea sandwich) were served on stale white bread!! Actually, all the breads were not fresh, including the egg-filled croissants. The scones were dry and tasteless. I discovered a dark hair in mine so I sent it back. Apologies were given but it didn't reflect any changes to our bill, which was $55/per person. When my niece made the reservation she said that 2 of us were celebrating our birthdays. Birthday wishes were not mentioned by the server. Nothing. Shame on Prince of Wales Hotel for serving inferior high tea at a very high price.

12/04/2025: My Mum, Aunt and I had breakfast here on a Saturday morning around 10.30am. I ordered the Eggs Atlantic with potatoes bravas for €12.50 and a cappuccino €3.90. My Mum ordered a latte €3.90 and blueberry muffin €3.50 and my Aunt ordered a slice of carrot cake €5 and a latte €3.90. The food was very good especially the Eggs Atlantic but we didn't appreciate the delayed staggered arrival of what we ordered in dribs and drabs with follow ups on our behalf. My Eggs Atlantic arrived promptly followed not too long after by the others lattes. I had finished my breakfast when my cappuccino arrived. A while after that having asked twice the muffin and carrot cake arrived. This needs to be immediately addressed as it wasn't even acknowledged.

31/03/2025: Cosy spot, food is nice and prices are very reasonable. Some staff so friendly others not so much but that’s okay too. Our second time coming here and will definitely be back!

08/05/2025: It is a great place to spend some time, you have different environments in the same place, where you can enjoy a good game, you can play pool, bowling, table football, board games and Arcade....and you also have Karaoke 🎤...the only complaint I have is that I found the karaoke a little expensive, an hour flies by!!!

29/04/2025: It’s a nice place to watch sports football is the main sport pass on TVs but a lot of people have Mardyke to watch rugby too. This place is point to meet friends or future girlfriend or boyfriend is a huge place a lot of tables sport table for snooker too is a lovely bar to spend a night drinking, talking with friends meet people from other countries and other parts of Ireland it’s a enormous place and this is an advantage over some pubs, if someone wants food they have to order from outside, Pizza from Four Star Mardyke is a customer of four star the best pizza for parties and places like this one, plenty food.
