11/10/2024: I dropped in here as my son was doing the driving test route down the road, pint of Heineken €6.20, not bad seems to be very sport driven with memorabilia all around, friendly bar man, clean toilets nice place to enjoy a pint, good music playing also

25/04/2024: La Touche Cafe is awesome! The food was great, service was fast, and the prices were reasonable. I had the pasta on 5 different occasions (creamy chicken mushroom, carbonara both spectacular). And they let me switch meat/shrimp, no problem! Others enjoyed their noodle or rice stir fry, fried chicken burger, sandwiches, and salads. We often ordered the same food as the day before because it was so good. One day we got takeout and the food was still delicious and piping hot when we opened it back at the office. Limited seating, but customers were friendly and moved tables to accomodate our group of 4. Thanks for many great meals in BlueBell! (My team and I were in town for 1.5 weeks volunteering for a local organization. La Touche cafe was a quick lunch walk. We ate there daily.).

26/10/2024: I discovered recently that the cafe downstairs had moved to the place upstairs where the restaurant used to be. They open of breakfast and lunch only and close at 6.00 p.m. I was pleasantly surprised to find the food very good and not expensive. It is not in the same league as the previous Upstairs Restaurant which was excellent but the food in this cafe is good and reasonably priced.

01/11/2024: Ordered hot chocolate and muffin. Told no muffins and offered croissant instead. Wasn’t sure that I wanted a croissant, so asked for refund, then they miraculously found a muffin! How disingenuous, they had them in the back all along. then hot chocolate was luke warm, girls had attitude, and were unfriendly, very sad to see, come on butlers, you’re better than that!

01/11/2024: One of the many super chocolate shops of the Butlers company that are all over Dublin and not only there. I recommend visiting and tasting their chocolate, warm or in the form of pralines. As a prezet, you get a sweet spot for your purchase 😊

20/10/2024: Friendly bar serving great food and drinks

16/09/2024: I spent two hours in the Abbey Lodge, food was brilliant, the two waitresses took a good half an hour to recognise me to take my order, walked around, took everyone else's glasses from the tables around me and not once acknowledged my brother and I. When one of them DID come around, I felt I impositioned her as she came around with a face on her. But the next thing about atmosphere is that I felt soured towards it due to her attitude and therefore I didn't feel the need to spend any more of my money as I didn't feel welcomed nor wanted. I hope to see an improvement in service later in the future.

27/09/2024: Disappointed in all,the service was a 10 but the food has definitely fallen from grace,the chicken curry 😔 was a let down and the roast chicken dinner ,mash and veg was something to be questioned,chef likes his microwave and that's being nice.over all wouldn't recommend the place for food.

09/09/2024: There is plenty of choice of food options here. Roomy with plenty of parking and seating. Clean toilets and friendly staff. This is a good meeting point.

02/10/2024: €8.50 for some salad leaves and falafel. Very poor value for money. They didn't even put in the hummus that was supposed to come with it. Vegetarian options very poor, and more expensive for some reason.
