12/12/2025: So my partner went to his work do tonight at this place and he leaves the place to go shop ,he comes back and the bouncer wouldn’t let him back (saying he was drunk) when my partner rang me and said this I was confused tbh cause when I say my partner was sober I actually mean it ,I know what he’s like when drunk and I can tell you now he wasn’t even near it! So I’ve rang up to speak to manage I spoke with the manager she sounded lovely on the phone i told her the situation and that he’s bomber jacket was still inside the place so she said she’ll go speak to him find out what’s going on so get off the phone with her after thanking her for help for my partner to video call me and show a women shouting at him saying your being aggressive when he clearly wasn’t and then told him they can’t find the bomber jacket when they could of allowed him to go get it and then come back out. There was literally a lot more drunken unable to speak people in that place and outside of it but my partner got treated like this !

30/11/2025: Love everything about the Mardyke, Good Food, Drink🍻 Arcades Bowling 🎳 and Karaoke 🎤 Perfect nights to have and activities all in one. Making bookings is easy changing and even extending times. Staff are some of the soundest people, Keep up the good work!

29/08/2025: A nice and cozy place though it could use some attention in term of appearance and overall look. The staff were super friendly and helpful and the food was tasty.

25/10/2025: Staff are lovely. However food was disappointing, veggie sandwich which had a laughable amount inside, considering the high price, told staff and sandwich returned still ridiculous small amount of filling. The wait for the food took ages before this even occured so I just ate it when it came back out, unsatisfied after meal. No side salad or anything with small sandwich.

10/10/2025: Lovely friendly staff but every time Ive been in they have forgotten my order. Very frustrating.

13/08/2025: reasonably priced for this area!!! Good food. Generous portions. Recommending swordfish, and mussels. they were busy and there was a miscommunication whether we wait for the waiter or do we order inside. We will come back.

03/11/2025: Coffee was actually great. Barista woman was rude. At first glance this looks like a large and nice Starbucks store. If you stay a bit you’ll find quite a deficiency in cleanliness. Soft chairs and sofas smell. Need a good Lysol spray down. Tables are all mucky. But the worst was the toilet. I wish I’d had my phone to take pics. MOLD growing all over a big grey waste receptacle in there. Like 4 trash cans there plus water and paper all over the floors. Thank God the water and soap worked.

24/08/2025: We got the feeling that they didn't want to serve us at 8 p.m. They told us the kitchen was closed and there were people dining...

23/08/2025: We were there last Friday. Waitress was not customer friendly 2/10 I got tea with sour milk , a colleague got the smallest portion of risotto you could serve Rip off and terrible services. Unlikely to go back and we were regular.

04/11/2025: Went there yesterday and the style of the cafe is absolutely beautiful the service was amazing the girls are very kind and helpful the food was amazing I’d definitely recommend it to anyone

15/10/2025: We arrive at 5.15 pm (so 45min before the closing) and we couldn't order pastries. Staff was not really friendly, brushing the floor like they wanted us to leave. I'll will not be back.

20/11/2025: What a surprise to find this place. It was like walking into a magical place. Cosy armchairs, sofas a roaring fire. Beautiful court yard. A peace of heaven and the coffee and cheese cake were delicious.

03/10/2025: I paid €16 for a toasted ham and cheese sandwich with some veggies and a cappuccino. Definitely not worth it. I should’ve checked the menu prices before ordering. I wouldn’t get such an expensive sandwich again. The staff are really nice though.

12/12/2025: I had one of the worst experiences ever at this Starbucks. I was charged an unbelievable €6.85 for a simple coffee just because I’m a tourist, while locals were paying barely €4 for the exact same drink. The pricing here feels deliberately inconsistent and completely disrespectful. The staff didn’t even bother explaining the price difference, they just shrugged, as if overcharging visitors is normal practice. It’s outrageous, and it shows a total lack of transparency and professionalism. If you don’t want to feel scammed, do yourself a favor and skip this place. There are plenty of cafés nearby that actually treat customers with honesty and basic respect.

12/12/2025: I had a deeply disappointing experience at this Starbucks. From the moment we walked in, it felt like we were being treated differently just because we were foreigners. The prices we were charged didn’t match what we saw listed, and when we asked for clarification, the staff were dismissive and unhelpful. Whether it was a mistake or not, the whole situation made us feel taken advantage of, and the attitude we received only made it worse. The service was unfriendly, the atmosphere uncomfortable, and we left feeling frustrated and unwelcome. I’ve visited many Starbucks locations around the world, and this was by far the worst experience I’ve had. I would not recommend this location to anyone.
