22/06/2026: Great pub. Noel is an absolute gent. We went in for a pint and ended up staying there for the whole weekend. We were having such a good time we nearly missed the train home. Big thanks to Leanne too. An awful sound lady and great craic. Gave me a calippo and it was easily the nicest calippo I’ve ever eaten. We will be back.

08/12/2025: Called in here on Saturday night, nice atmosphere, good crowd but not overcrowded, enjoyed the band and great pints. We'll be back again.

26/07/2025: The Phoenix Park cafe is in a great location. The owners have the luxury of getting a captive audience due to the volume of people visiting the park and the lack of places to eat. I feel that the food has gone downhill. I’ve been consistently disappointed with the last few visits. My last visit was at the end of June. We all ordered lasagne and the food was dry and tasteless. There was a lack of choice of salads on the day that we visited. This restaurant used to be great. It’s a shame.

04/07/2026: Never actually considered ordering from here until I picked up a few orders while doing some Uber work some evenings. When picking up the orders, I was was impressed by the store cleanliness, seeing their cooks use fresh ingredients, and the lovely friendly service from their staff. I finally decided to try it myself and I was highly impressed! Ordered several times since and their food always hits the spot. Chips (including garlic and curry variants) are by far the best I've had in years! All of my family share my opinion, it's our new favourite takeaway in Cork! Well done team CF Lennox!

13/08/2026: Halloumi sandwich was outstanding, and the reviews of the fish tacos from my friends were similar. Be prepared for a bit of a wait, but it gives a chance to sit back and enjoy the experience. Highly recommend.

10/08/2026: Very disappointing and frustrating. Arrived excited on the back of several positive reviews. Was there with my wife and 2 young children (1 & 4) and ordered 2 fish tacos, dumplings and a hotdog but had to wait close to 50 minutes for our food. About 15 minutes after we ordered a large group arrived. As we waited we saw this group being served. When we asked about our order we were told this group had pre-ordered. No apology. No offer of a drink for our kids. Just tough luck. We were amoung 8 others who put in orders before thus group arrived and had to wait close to an hour for our food. If we had been told before we ordered to expect a long delay or even received half-hearted apology, my review would have been different, but myself and others whose orders had been set aside for the preordered group all felt very poorly treated. My food review may have been higher but we were so angry by the time our food arrived to the table that the quality and presentation was hard to appreciate.

24/08/2026: The waitress who served us was lovely. The owner however saw fit to verbally abuse her in front of the whole restaurant. Very unprofessional. Food was average. Very disappointing

13/07/2026: Came for dinner. Kids got the cheese pizza and chicken with fries. I got the seafood chowder for a starter and it was delicious and had nice large chucks of seafood in it. My wife and I shared the butter chicken was great. The sauce they used was really good and our daughter used it to dip her chicken in it because she liked it so much.

16/06/2026: We had a very good seafood chowder, would definitely recommend! The coffee was pretty bad and from an automatic coffee machine; very disappointing when considering the price point of 6.10 Euro for a simple cappuccino. Definitely don’t get a coffee here.

11/07/2026: The quality of food in this establishment has deteriorated so much in recent years... I would have to say the same about service. Thankfully there are very good alternatives in the vecinity ..

26/05/2026: Had a club sandwich and it was very tasty. Service was good and there wasn't a long wait for the food. Portion sizes were huge. The bakery also had some delicious baked goods. I will be back!

28/06/2026: Me and my partner went In yesterday for lunch and the cafe floor and tables were filty and 3 staff on the counter and no costumers at the counter at the time there was no clean tables to sit at and we had to clear a table to sit at if I had seen it before I ordered I would have left it.i took pictures to prove the mess but no option here to post them because it was really bad
