31/03/2024: Someone went through our luggage in our room, and stole alot of perscription medicine. We were disrespected and violoated. This has never happened before. Highly Do Not recommend staying here.

07/05/2024: The facility is close to the airport & a short bus ride to O'Connell Street at €2-3 for an adult ride. While the staff are wonderful & very accommodating, management has neglected to provide sufficient numbers of receptionists or housekeepers. Great people in both departments. Despite that shortcoming, I would recommend it as a viable consideration for a visit to Dublin.

03/05/2024: Hotel about 2 km from Dublin Airport. The rooms are very well decorated and very cozy. The very modern bathroom. The food in the restaurant is of very good quality. Keep in mind that the shuttle from the hotel to the airport costs €3. Recommendable.

03/04/2024: Lovely and beautiful hotel. We had hired a room for my mam,s 80th Birthday, for a sit down 3 course meal. The room was beautiful and the main girl that was dealing with us was absolutely brilliant and make the day go smoothly and the other girls serving the food were brilliant. They couldn't have been any nicer and more helpful. So l would recommend 👌 as we had a great day and made my mam,s day very special.

31/03/2024: Fantastic hotel with incredible staff. My flight was around 6 hours before check in but they got me in very quickly (after my redeye I was hopeful but not expecting an early check in) and Isabella really made my experience complete with her kindness, patience and recommendations. I hope to return in the future. Fantastic location very near bus routes that made any where I wanted easily accessible. Also, really enjoyed the live entertainment (thanks again Isabella for letting me know)

28/12/2023: A delightful little place. Upstairs in the smoking area you can admire the view of the quay whilst being rained on and freezing to death from the fresh sea breeze. All three tiers are fun with each serving some of the finest beverages around. I recommend having 6 beers on each floor before trying your luck with an 18 year old like a proper old geezer. #smashedit

03/03/2024: I organised a very important 3-day work meeting at the Avila Centre for a international group. The staff were prompt and clear in their communication, the community were deeply hospitable, in advance I had the sense of partners I could trust and during the actual event, I could not be more praising of everyone there - from the front-desk to the kitchen to the Superior of the community. The rooms were clean, well appointed, and comfortable. The food was tasty, fresh, nutritious, and with generous servings. The meeting space was modern and efficient. The grounds are spacious and quiet. The location is central and still somehow removed from the noise and bustle of the city. A splendid institution.

23/08/2023: Loved this place. So many options to choose from. Interesting design. Friendly service. Tasty scones. If I may make an observation, I'd say coffee quality could be slightly improved. It was slightly burnt and way too bitter. Other than that, great place. Can't wait to came back

The Abbey Lodge

12/12/2023: I was here for a party in the upstairs function room. The staff were very friendly and the room was of a good size with plenty of areas for dancing, drinking, eating and there was a balcony and a secluded area if you wanted to slip away from the merriment for a while. There is plenty of parking but the pub is located on a corner of a busy road so you need to keep that in mind when entering or exiting the car park.
