They have their counter and food all covered in Palestine flags. I didn't even say anything about it, I was just looking at them, and the workers were glaring at me for it. I don't know if it's a misguided effort for the workers and employers to get virtue single points, but for being inside of a national medium it is shameful to be so polarized.
28/03/2024: Delicious Middle Eastern and Mediterranean food in a very pleasant cafe at the Chester Beatty museum.

30/03/2024: The food at the restaurant was just okay, and there were not many vegetarian options available. Unfortunately, the service was also poor during my visit. One of my friends was celebrating her birthday and brought a cake to share with everyone. However, the staff messed up the cake and did not have the decency to inform us. As a result, they cut the cake before we could sing "Happy Birthday" or blow out the candles. It was clear that something had gone wrong with the cake because the first five pieces were much larger than the rest and not nicely cut.
18/03/2024: Asked for Turkey & Ham but reckon it was bacon & very fatty. Mash & Turkey was luke warm...didn't really enjoy the meal tbh

04/04/2024: Very nice address, the place is very pleasant, the service friendly, and the dishes delicious. I recommend the Irish stew à la Guiness... €18.50 per dish. The restaurant is on the first floor, you can enjoy the concerts, without the crowds on the ground floor and at a very pleasant noise level.

29/11/2023: I had a pleasurable experience in this cafe. The mark of a place really is whether you'd return, and I certainly would. I enjoyed the breakfast. The staff were helpful and friendly. The tea was nice. The cost was very reasonable. No fancy frills but for sure it's a good spot a nice breakfast. Plenty of table space too.
01/08/2023: Ate here with my daughter today. We both had lasagne fries and salad. Everything was 10/10. Lasagne was absolutely delicious. Will be back.

18/03/2024: Carvery was nice just a pity it was cold that was a massive let down. and also people left due to no kids menu and it was mother's day kids should of been expected to arrive, other then this it would of been a great spot first time I ever had a cold carvery very disappointed ☹️

The rooms are basic but what I expect in a European value hotel.
We could not adjust the temp, so we felt cold during the stay.
The rooms are super clean and tidy. The restaurant is a good value and we used it for dinner and breakfast. The dinner was excellent. We are used to an ordered breakfast, not a buffet, but it was acceptable.
22/03/2024: Just returned from a 2 night stay at this lovely hotel. Very close to Waterford city. Spacious and comfortable room. Great breakfast and wonderful staff. Special shout out to Millie on reception - a gem with a big welcoming smile. She was so helpful and courteous. We'll be back. Thank you Viking!!

03/04/2024: We stayed in the hotel for one night in a beautiful sea view room & the view did not let us down. The room was lovely, clean, comfy big bed with a small fridge & tea coffee making facilities.
We had a lovely experience from start to finish and the staff were friendly too.
Breakfast was delicious & plentiful.
01/04/2024: First time staying here as an adult for my birthday with my partner. The room was spotless bed very comfy and room was cool you could turn down the heating. Lovely sea view room and good value for money. The pool is disappointing there is too many children and adults can’t enjoy it properly. The spa was lovely although beware of booking mud chamber I was very disappointed I was expecting a bath but it isn’t one. Spa staff are a little laid back and don’t explain the treatments very well. Upon arrival the lady wasn’t very friendly spoke in a strong foreign accent and told me to secure my room I had to use a certain type of card. Overall could have been more welcoming upon arrival. All other staff were amazing and accommodating. The staff left me a birthday card in my room. Overall I’d stay here again but there is some slight issues the hotel could work on.
