29/10/2025: Stopped here for food as we out abd about walking in the area , absolutely great place, friendly staff and customers, very very good pint of Guinness (and Im fussy when it comes to Guinness), we ordered 2x fish and chips, texan style burger meal and a roast type meal, all were cooked perfect, generous portions and extra chips brought to us at no cost. And the price is very reasonable too. Will definitely be back when next in the area.

23/09/2026: DZ Cafe is a great little place. Fresh produce for most dishes. Good value for money . Good vegetarian options. Kind and friendly staff . The cafe itself is no frills , basic and relaxed , the focus is on the food and the food is good ! As a Dubliner from the area . I would choose this place above any of the local Indian / Chinese or middle eastren outlets in the area I am never disappointed 👌🏼.

16/06/2026: Food traditional and he serves pizza and tacos And most beautiful things he has sweet and cake the famous in the world and The one that achieved first place globally is called Maqrout. Prices are good not high medium mix tacos only 10 euro and he had very good coffe when you try it tell me ur opinion

15/10/2026: As recent reviews have said. The service is very slow, we were waiting for our drinks and starters for ages. The staff are very nice and apologised. It’s also far too loud inside, hard to hold a conversation. The food was very nice when it did arrive with big portion sizes. But it’s very expensive food, you’d expect to pay these prices in Dublin City centre. It seems to operate more as a restaurant now than a pub. It’s lost the charm that it had years ago.

14/10/2026: The food is quite good since the renovation, but it feels incredibly hectic inside. We were waiting over an hour for our dinner and it is incredibly loud and crammed inside now. I appreciate they are going down the restaurant route rather than the pub that was there before, but it feels like it's lost a large amount of its charm now.

28/08/2026: One of my top 3 favourite cafes, hands down - great for a coffee and a bite to eat. The food is absolutely amazing, and portions are generous, not skimpy at all. The full breakfast is genuinely one of the best I’ve had around Dublin. The inside of the cafe is lovely too, nice atmosphere to sit in and enjoy your meal. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a solid breakfast spot.

27/08/2026: TLDR: Better off ordering a pizza. Great atmosphere and scenery to enjoy a summer dinner to. The Daily Special wasn't worth the 21.50 Euros since the fish was cooked alright and isn't that fresh. The outdoor seating is amazing and I had a chance to enjoy the Baltimore sunset while eating by pier. The servers were helpful, making it clear it's self-seating and the bill is paid at the counter inside at the end. I went for the special (daily fish) since the restaurant is by the ocean. I wasn't disappointed by how the fish was cooked: it was tender and flakey. The chef did not season it heavily, so one could tailor their dish to taste via S&P with the accompanied garlic butter. However, I do NOT think it is worth 21.50 Euros, even accounting for the scenery premium. The fish was clearly not caught same-day, and not that fresh. The salad was very basic lettuce pepper tomato and onions, and the fries were nothing outstanding neither. The price might just be a symptom of how fish supply moves in Ireland and local businesses are impacted by policy changes. Still worth a meal here, would just order the pizza instead!

05/07/2026: Absolutely fantastic place,, food was unbelievable,,, staff were brilliant couldn't be nicer,, burgers & cottage pie were excellent,, if i could give one negative side is there is no social media updates for years,, people need to see updates to find this place.. if I'm ever passing I'll make sure I'm hungry enough to stop in...

19/06/2026: I stay here regularly for work and love it being by the sea. It's worth paying the extra usually only € 20-30 for sea view. Service very good and close to town centre and sea front.

18/06/2026: It was a night to remember! Having to celebrate our silver anniversary in TUH and Ireland in an iconic place is really amazing! The staffs are so accomodating and friendly. The rooms were so nice. Will be back to treat my family friends here!

17/09/2026: Normally really enjoy this place, but ordered Waffles yesterday and was really disappointed. Portion was small and meal was very dry. 1 waffle halved, not much toppings or substance for €15.50. We also ordered 2 teas and got one small pot that is usually served to 1 person. Was this because we came at half 2. Not sure but will put me off returning unfortunately 😕

04/08/2026: Jack was our saviour and let us camp out back for the night. Great atmosphere, great hospitality. Everyone made sure we had everything we needed to keep us going on our journey cycling from Dublin to Spain.

20/07/2026: Had to send my fish and chips back to the kitchen as soon as it arrived because the portion of fish was so small. The staff was pleasant and when she brought a new piece out, it was still small but she said it was an 8 ounce. This place seems to think fish is served in weights similar to steaks, utterly unbelievable.

10/06/2026: Applegreen Paulstown is an extraordinary Facility.It has absolutely EVERYTHING ..the best coffee and crossies...the best hot food Deli and a delightful array of goodies to pick from the M+ S shop!! But what really makes Applegreen Paulstown stand out is the AMAZING Staff headed up by Phil and her Team.They are friendly welcoming and always there with a smile and a Good Morning.I always leave in good humour and well fed! Thir attention to detail....high standards and professionalism is something to behold. It is exemplary and is a model of excelllent practice nationally! Well done to Phil and Enda on a Superb Management model that works and delivers!!. You can feel the culture of collaboration and teamwork the minute you walk in the door!! It is this exemplary leadership that makes Applegreen Paulstown the best service provider that I have ever experienced. Congrats to all the staff and long may it continue. 11/08/2026: Nice boozer. Wonderful refuge from the heat outside. The buffalo chicken wrap had a nice kick to it and the beers were quickly replenished
