15/06/2025: We were in Dublin for a special occasion and decided to try this place for the first time. Unfortunately, it ended up being a disappointing experience. We waited quite a while before anyone came to take our order — the staff seemed more focused on refilling seats than checking in with customers already there. If we had known they were too busy to accommodate even small requests, we honestly wouldn’t have stayed. When we were finally asked for our order, my auntie politely asked if she could customise a panini — just three basic ingredients — and was told, “We’re too busy.” Not the warmest welcome for new customers, especially when the request was so simple. Myself i ordered the goat cheese ciabatta, took one bite, and immediately had to spit it out — I said it tasted off. We called the manager over, explained that I didn’t like the food, and politely asked if I could order something else instead. The manager said no. When we pointed out again that I hadn’t eaten it because she genuinely didn’t like it, the manager replied, “It is goat cheese. You should order something you know you’re going to like.” I replied that I had eaten goat cheese before and enjoyed it — this just didn’t taste right — but the manager showed no interest or care. she simply took the food away and refused to offer anything further. At the till, the ciabatta was still on the bill. We explained again that it wasn’t eaten and was removed without replacement. The manager said we should still pay because it was a “waste of food.” It was eventually removed, but the way the situation was handled left us feeling very unwelcome. We also noticed there’s an extra €2 charge just to eat in — which is fine, but for that added cost, we expected a bit more flexibility and basic customer care. This was our first visit, and likely our last. A real shame, as we were looking forward to it. would not recommend this place at all

08/07/2025: When booking verify which floor! They have 2 basement floors that my dad and I were unaware of. We did have an opening that seemed to be next to an ally so all we heard were bottles being emptied into a dumpster and smoke coming down into the opening. We were able to change rooms the next day but paid full price for a basement room.

01/06/2025: Fabulous hotel. The food in bar and the breakfast is amazing. Our room was a little small but bathroom was huge and shower really powerful.

13/07/2025: I love gay music, love being gay, love dj drags but this dj was not good. The queue was off, sometimes the music was too loud or too low. She played the same song twice by mistake and then she fixed playing something, of what I think was the first song that she found. Not personal but im sure there are many dj drags dying for this opportunity. And if she reads this, im just give u construct criticism gurl.

24/05/2025: Looking for lunch, after a long journey, the staff were welcoming and friendly, we ordered a medium all breakfast, omelette, chips, coffee and chips. The food was all excellent and well priced

14/07/2025: This is a real hidden gem! It's in one of the best locations in the City but in a quiet residential area, which is just perfect. The staff are really welcoming and helpful. The food was great and the bar was stocked with a wide range of beers and wines. Definitely recommend staying here.

15/06/2025: Clean but old-fashioned room, broken shower rail, sink underside in poor condition, poorly painted walls, mediocre continental breakfast, boxed cereals, limited selection, bread arrived after breakfast, no fruit....go to a B&B instead... you'll be better served

14/06/2025: Got the smash burgers and a baby bowl. Absolutely beautiful. Portions were decent and priced well. Pints were good and cold. New menu with some new options. Will definitely be back soon.

02/06/2025: Had one the most satisfying burgers in Ireland - juicy and tender chicken, all tucked in a perfectly baked brioche bun. The food here is incredibly delicious! We also ordered pasta and chicken wings, they were both just as good ! PS - they also welcome dogs :)
