23/05/2025: Place are order for 6 people. Each order came out at a different time with in 10 minutes. Order a burger no mayo came with mayo. Order wings spicy for a starter got bbq and the dinner order. Order a Caesar salad came with Parmesan cheese sprinkled on top did not order it like that ordered it without cheese. Chicken tenders had like a sugar sprinkle on them . Worst spot we've eaten in since we have beef in Dublin.

19/05/2025: Downstairs is very touristy with great live music but overpriced drinks. Upstairs has surprisingly good food. Worth a look

15/04/2025: It is so good to be able to improve a review. This place has really upped their game. Gluten free and allergies are well catered, the service is fast but not suspiciously so and it's great to find the staff sprucing up the bathroom, it was spotless. Hand on heart, I go here often, once a week or more. Tasty, well presented, well priced and a sensible uncluttered menu. Chef makes regular appearances and is a reassuringly sight. 3years ago: Food is lovely but the service is poor. On two occasions I have been here and twice I have had to chase up menus. Comfortable and charming surroundings.

13/04/2025: I visited several pubs in Moate and this was my favorite! The bar keep, Paul, was top notch! He even had candy for my kids! Very kind!

10/05/2025: So overpriced for average food and poor service!! Went there for lunch today after seeing their €7 takeaway toastie menu. We asked could we order to sit in instead and got charge €14 for a fatty ham and cheese toastie. 10% service charge for a party of 2, ended up being €42 for 2 toasties, one chips and one drink can of soft drink!! The 10% charge also says optional on menu but is automatically put on bill without asking. Terrible! Would not recommend.

04/05/2025: Breakfast was delicious, fresh ingredients, well-seasoned, and beautifully plated. I especially enjoyed the eggs benedict and the fresh salad on the side. Service was excellent: warm, attentive, and efficient without feeling rushed. The atmosphere was calm and cozy, perfect for a relaxing morning. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great breakfast or brunch spot!

22/09/2024: I’m not being dramatic, but when I took my first bite of the mackerel with the salad and that caramelised rhubarb.. my hands praised a higher power in the sky , as if my body somatically reacted to the food, before my brain could even register a response… Yes it was thaaat good! Everything about the food here, from the salad grown out front, to the little crunchy seeds and onions and the dressings and sauces… would not change a thing, try everything, it’s all delicious, fresh, absolute satisfaction on a plate, On all of thee levels physically, mentally, emotionally & spiritually 💜💜💜🌸🌸🌸💚💚💚 the best the best the best!

15/09/2024: A unique and fabulous spot for lunch in Inisbofin! We stopped off during a cycling tour of the island...4 adults, 4 children. The food was phenomenal especially the fish tacos. The hot dogs went down a treat for the children. Highly recommend and so glad we stopped!

26/03/2025: Personal amable y positivo - fue dos veces seguidas para el desayuno. Buena comida, amplia variedad de opciones entre bocadillos, menús, bollos y dulces. El café es bueno también, que parece una agradable sorpresa aquí en Irlanda de acuerdo con nuestra experiencia! Se me cayó el café esta mañana, una respuesta tan amable - no fue ningún problema en absoluto y el barista incluso me preparó un café nuevo sin que yo lo pidiera! Gracias.

09/02/2025: El café y todo lo demás en este pequeño café es absolutamente increíble. Hacen pequeñas quiches maravillosas y un montón de pasteles y postres. También hay una gran selección de comidas para llevar. Todo tiene un precio muy razonable y el personal es maravilloso.

18/05/2025: Walked in and they had no idea where we were to be sitting for our reservation. They placed us outside even though we did not ask or book to sit outside however the reservation list told us we booked outside but this was not the case as there are no booking options for outside. We were placed at a table for 6 people and the waiter had no idea what was going on. We asked for a table inside from two other waiters and they barely had any english and they were telling us about en event upstairs which had no relevance to us. We were then told to go inside as to find a table for ourself. We were then greeted by our previous waiter who seated us at a table inside. Dinner was fine, then we asked for the bill and the waiter smiled at us and did not come back with a bill. We tried to order a cocktail and an orchard thieves. We ended up with a cocktail and a plate of chips after waiting for 10 mins after the cocktail arrived and even asking the waiter where was the orchard thieves. While all of this was happening we noticed a pint that was sitting for at least 15 minutes was served to a table after adding more head. The service here was terrible and I would never recommend this place to anyone and i would definitely never go back to the jar.

16/05/2025: Had my 40th birthday there on the bank holiday Sunday on their first floor terrace... the roof retracted and we were lucky enough to have great weather. Absolutely smashing evening, bartenders were great and food was good and reasonably priced. Served late and the DJ was good... absolutely perfect spot for a birthday celebration!

03/05/2025: We spent a few days visiting Cork and this hotel was very central, the airport bus stop was close and you could walk to many places in the center. Cozy rooms and very good and complete breakfast. It should be noted that the cleaning is also good and the service staff is very friendly and attentive.

02/05/2025: Spacious room with an odd shape (wall at an angle) but a nice little nook for the table. Slightly dark. The shower cubicle was by far the most functional and lush we had in our entire trip. Food at the hotel was also very nice, we enjoyed all of our meals there! The location is very central.

04/06/2025: Just the perfect place for lunch in Wicklow Town! My mom, toddler son and I enjoyed friendly service from Janet, along with delicious food. The “Cub Club” meal was an excellent value with chicken bites, chips, a drink and ice cream. The fish and chips portion with mushy peas was huge and I’m so glad we shared the plate! Giant pint glasses with ice water and lemon kept us hydrated from busy days of travel. Lovely pub atmosphere. Highly recommend. Pro Tips: - Bring the kids! It’s super family friendly and they even have books, crayons and board games for the little ones. - Easy walking to the harbour front

02/06/2025: Really disappointing meal here over the bank holiday weekend. Service was good and staff were quick and helpful, however the food was really really poor. Immediately could tell it was cooked from frozen, we both felt quite sickly later in the evening, while we were at our table we noticed 2 other tables complaining about their experience. Nice place and friendly staff but the food does not at all live up to the price point they are charging. Won't be going back, which is really disappointing

06/03/2025: Purchased a steak and kidney pie, like most steak and kidney pies nowadays, lacked kidney. Other than that tasty, also tried some of my wife's chicken curry, it was superb.
