12/11/2024: Have been going to the grasshopper years , food , atmosphere, staff are 100% especially the open fire 🔥 hard to leave once you sit down 😅😅😅 Martin runs an excellent show A++++ highly recommended 😍😍😍

18/10/2024: It is a nice place with comfortable seats and different areas. Enviournment is really cozy and nice especially during the night time. Lighting is soft and warm. Cocktails taste good with very good service.

21/10/2024: Best pub in Kilkenny, Family friendly and great service. Beautiful ambience in a beautiful setting, especially in the evening. The owner is a real gentleman who goes to great lengths to make sure that you have a good time.

27/10/2024: I stepped by during the Jazz festival and while I was enjoying the music for less than 5 minutes a member of the staff approached me and my friends telling us to get some drinks otherwise I had to leave, there was no table available anyway, so basically I had to take a drink to stay up and listen the music even for less than 10 minutes, thank you so much for the great service :)

05/11/2024: We spent 3 days in Galway and this cafe was the best one we went to, as the staff were extremely friendly, whom made such an effort to entertain their customers over the Halloween Festival (as you can see they were all dressed up in cool costumes) and the food and drinks were fresh, delicious and reasonably priced. Thank you for the experience, regards the two Aussie's Shaz & Daz PS the smoothies are yummy 😋

15/10/2024: Lovely chinese restaurant overlooking the small lake. Excellent quality food. A lot of nice dishes, the best was once again Black beans prawns in oyster sauce with rice noodles. We highly recommend.

26/09/2024: Myself and the wife decided to head out for a Chinese and it was our first time there and we were very pleased with the food and the staff were very nice and friendly.

28/10/2024: Very expensive we got a take away as it was very busy, we got 2 toasties (not in a box with zero crisps etc , 1 soup ,1 tea for €24 ,toastie wasn't toasted, very disappointing for the price

01/11/2024: Give it a miss people. The fish and chips should be called batter and and chips. Thick stodgy batter, very little fish. The crumble was amateur and possibly made by a five year old it was so awful. Most disappointing meal out of my life! The waitress was very unfriendly and when I tried to tell her how bad the food was she was extremely defensive. We had had a very long day in a Dublin hospital after I just flew in from Australia to see my terminally ill sister. Jet lagged, emotionally stressed, tired and the bad food and service was just to much to take. They did not care, just told me they had great chefs and anyone could have an off day in the kitchen and accused me of being aggressive because of my obvious frustration and distress.

12/05/2024: Beautiful meal in Maxwell's tonight. Staff were super friendly and the food was exceptional. Had garlic mushrooms to start and chicken & beef main and couldnt fault it. Would definitely recommend a visit

23/10/2024: This is the new best Brunch spot around, amazing menu, lovely staff, top drawer stuff, contemporary yet familiar, they're really doing something right here!, can't wait to go back and try more dishes..... lovely staff and a comfortable welcoming enviroment...... so glad is back open again, was worth the wait while they updated everything. 20/10/2024: The best coffee, cakes, and greatest Cafe in Cavan Town. It's my favourite place for my coffee hit and apple 🍎 tart plus the best brown bread ever. Home from home atmosphere.

06/10/2024: Best latte in Cavan! Community atmosphere. Always included in everyone's conversations. Staff go above and beyond to chat and serve every customer. Freshly baked, top class products, clearly using the best ingredients and meats. I leave every week smiling and look forward to my treat the following week 🤗
