22/09/2026: Excellent coffee. Best tiramisu we've ever had anywhere. Such kind and genuine people. Top notch service 🤌✨️

05/09/2026: The waitress was very kind and helped us navigate the menu, since we're vegetarians. The selection was quite varied, and everything was very good!

12/06/2026: Chill spot to have a drink and eat some delicious food. Had an excellent vegan falafel wrap. The vegetables were cooked to perfection. Great staff. Would happily visit again. Oh they make an awesome hand tossed margarita pizza 🍕 😋

11/06/2026: Stayed here for a week. Breakfast was fantastic every day. Staff were all pleasant enough. A special shout out to Zara who went above and beyond every day for us. If you’re staying here, I would reccomend ear plugs, as the windows aren’t the thickest. You can literally hear everything outside. But location is great, car park behind for €5 a day.

08/07/2026: Lovely sea view and great customer service. Opportunity to sit inside and outside. Food and drinks was good.

20/06/2026: Superb location. Party of 6 with 2 guests fussy about seating arrangements. Staff very accommodating. Samples of red wine provided. Food served after about 30 mins. If busy expect much longer. Worth the wait except for prawn dish which one guest thought to be chewy. Decent Guinness and some 0% alcohol options. Well definitely be back.

04/10/2026: A firm favorite on the shrinking Dublin gay scene It's a late night bar which is also rare. Get a good seat and watch the world go by. It's dog friendly too . It's transformed during the day to a relaxed front room at home .

29/09/2026: This is a beautiful bar however I had an unnecessarily negative experience with a female bartender when I ordered a Guinness Zero and a regular Guinness and was told they would bring the drink over to the table. I explained that I had just come from another bar and my friend had mixed up our order in the walk from the bar so I felt a bit anxious regarding the non-alcoholic drink and said I would wait to get that from her into my hand so there was no uncertainty. Unfortunately her attitude changed, she became irritated and became huffy, puffy and eye-rolley at my request (which did not put her out in any way whatsoever). Maybe as a bar you might consider putting the non-alcoholic beverages in Zero glasses, rather than in the same Guinness glasses so there is no confusion? It is rather important. Aside from that, a beautiful bar with a lovely atmosphere.

30/08/2026: The bouncer at the gate asked me very stupid questions. Where do I live? I told him I live in sords. He said " I have never seen you here". If he hasn't seen me here that means it could be my first or second time... He was racist, he used slurs, as if I was not white enough to go inside, such discrimination should be called out. Then he said go to "Old School House". It is the duty of the management to know how people are treated ..This place is disgusting, should be closed, if it cannot welcome people. Pathetic, disgraceful behavior from the bouncer. Please teach them some manners

23/08/2026: The security at this bar are a disgrace. We approached the door and before we even had a chance to show our IDs, they said with no provocation that our friend was “too drunk”, despite her showing no indication that she was. When we tried to politely say that this was not the case, the security man said “excuse me, I’m the security man, not you”. We were very cordial and tried to show our IDs regardless, and he just blatantly ignored us, letting other people in with barely a second glance, people who were very clearly more intoxicated than our friend. A shame considering the bar looked to be very lively. Our bad experience with this rude, power-tripping security will unfortunately make it unlikely that we will return.

01/07/2026: Visited Galway from Canada for a conference and found that this place operates on a completely different economic logic than the rest of the city. Cheapest prices, good food, good drinks. Whoever is responsible for keeping these prices student-friendly, please know you are doing god's work.
