17/04/2025: I'm not usually leaving reviews, but the experience at this restaurant left us quite disappointed. The service at the Jar was really slow, as our order was taken around 20 minutes after we sat down. We got our cocktails fairly quickly after a 15 minute wait, but we waited for an hour for our food (2 pizzas). After asking for our food we were told by the waiters they'd "look into it" but we were not kept updated and eventually our food was brought to us. There was no compensation offered despite the long wait. When we asked for an explanation the answer we got was that there's something wrong with the WiFi/connection between the bar and kitchen. I understand sometimes things happen, but it feels like keeping your customers informed about the situation would be the bare minimum in this case. The food itself was pretty good, as well as the drinks, but because the service was very slow and the music extremely loud (I mean it wasn't possible to carry out a conversation without yelling), I wouldn't come back here. We were excited to have a nice dinner while in Dublin but this left us feeling disappointed.

08/03/2025: The place is beautiful, but the staff is absolutely terrible. I asked twice to be moved to a different table. They gave us an awful table on the balcony. I asked twice to be relocated, but they just smiled, said “yes, yes,” and kept seating other guests as if nothing had happened. This is complete disrespect towards their guests. Disgusting, I’m never coming back.

29/03/2025: Been there so many times, honestly weirdest experience every time I go there, whenever there are matches on half the people are watching, the others are judging those watching. One of the most overstimulating places I've been. However; Their sticky toffee pudding is the best thing I have ever had, genuinely have perfected it. There's also a trad group that go over some evenings and really bring the atmosphere up. Long story short- classic pub nothing else to say really

29/03/2025: I met up with friends for food and drinks at The Wishing Well Bar & Restaurant and had a fantastic experience. The atmosphere is warm, relaxed, and inviting, making it a great place to unwind. The food is of excellent quality, and the service is top-notch. The staff in both the lounge and restaurant are incredibly friendly and attentive. Overall, it’s a wonderful spot to enjoy an evening out.

09/03/2025: Very apt ably named for its location in Navan. Formally owned by the Smyth family now revamped a little for the better it continues now as very good bar/ restaurant with an Asian food theme. The food aspect is available in a good size restaurant area and also for takeaway if you wish. The bar staff are attentive and very polite at all times. The management here is a Asian lady who is wonderful hostess who oversees that every guest is treated with grace, respect, and any request is dealt with immediately.! I don't live in the Navan area but when I do visit it's a place I do wish to visit when in town.

23/02/2025: Very slow service, had to go looking for a menu ourselves. We then had to go and get water for the table ourselves. No waiters / waitresses coming to tables to take orders, yet there was plenty of waiting staff floating around. It was not extremely busy at all. Food when it arrived was cold and bland. The stuffing with the chicken was very poor. This place is pricy, and you would expect better food and service for the price you pay. Will we return again, I don't think so.

21/02/2025: Best pub in county wexford, maybe even in Ireland 🇮🇪 , staff ,service all top notch ,worth a visit.

01/11/2024: Small pub, but super cozy. We sat at the little tables outside where we could calmly drink our pints. The very friendly waiter suggested us a beer and, in my opinion, we are better than Guiness. A good place to have a drink.

19/03/2025: Terrible service! I was served by a grumpy and rude employee. I ended up leaving without even wanting to visit the place due to the negative experience.

17/03/2025: I had a lovely afternoon coffee here! The place was quite busy on Saturday afternoon but we waited just a couple of minutes to get a table. They have a wide variety of cakes and the dark chocolate and pistachio mousse was amazing 😋 the cappuccino was good too.

29/03/2025: We were drinking next to a crowd that were shouting and very noisy, so we moved to a different area and the barman was VERY rude about it. Shouting and roaring when, when all we were had just moved to a diffent area to get some peace. Would not even listen. Overpriced for the experience. So many better bars in the city centre. DO NOT COME HERE.
