Ocean Sands Hotel - Enniscrone, Co. Sligo, Ireland
Inniscrone
22/06/2026: Really well looked after at Ceol na Mara House by Ocean Sands Hotel. We stayed after doing a solstice bike ride from Belfast and they welcomed a whole load of tired cyclists. Bed was comfy, shower was hot, breakfast was good. Didn't need anything else! Would love to come back.
11/06/2026: Great location, beautiful scenery and the hotel is great. I stay here every time I come to enniscrone. Welcoming staff, comfortable and spotlessly clean rooms. Great spa.

Dublin
27/07/2026: Normal pub where you can drink beer 🍻 and eat something 🍽️
27/07/2026: Deadmans Inn is a 300-year-old Irish pub. You can find delicious food in a classic and cozy atmosphere. I recommend enjoying their chicken and meat dishes with a pint of Guinness.

Drop Dead Twice
Dublin
11/08/2026: I have recently been to DDT for two events in recent weeks, and had unpleasant experiences at both. Your bar staff are incredibly rude and impatient to all patrons. The worst was an act of ableism which is deeply concerning. They allege they are an “accessible venue” yet a wheelchair user couldn’t access your front door. Most harrowingly, said user got trapped between doors at the back and couldn’t open the fire escape to exit. When they shouted for help, a member of your bar staff was incredibly dismissive and rude and accosted her for shouting. Considering this venue literally burned down years ago, it’s worrisome that a fire exit couldn’t be adequately opened without assistance.
I used to love this venue but your bar staffs horrible attitude has ruined it for me. I will not be returning, as will a lot of friends who witnessed the event the other night.
17/07/2026: The best vibez can be found here and it's host to a lot of alternative events you find anywhere else. Great for a date night!

Farmer Browns
Dublin
19/07/2026: Very disappointing experience. We had been having drinks and wanted to order dinner at 8:54 PM. We were told the kitchen closed at 9:00 PM, but even though it wasn’t 9:00 yet, the staff said they didn’t care and that the kitchen was already closed because it was Sunday.
To make matters worse, they changed another customer’s order right in front of us but refused to take ours. Both the bar and floor staff showed zero customer service and were rude and dismissive throughout.
I would not recommend this place. Poor service, unprofessional staff, and a very disappointing experience.
07/07/2026: Great selection of drafts and cocktails. Friendly atmosphere the chicken wings buffalo sauce was salty. With a blue cheese dip watered down runny dip.

26/08/2026: Passing through Dublin, I stopped here on a whim and loved the atmosphere with its typical Irish music. Good service and reasonable prices. Smoking area.
24/08/2026: The atmosphere was great… but we found the drinks expensive, €18.

Cork Organic Veg
07/09/2025: Bring your own pillows and tvs are cheap with only a few channels but location is great and breakfast is good although coffee wasn’t so good
07/09/2025: The lobby on entering the hotel was fabulous. But as soon as we got to our room that’s where it ended. Bathroom was not clean, Stains around the bin on the floor, problem with the hose for the shower, kept popping off the shower head, silicone around shower base has mould on it. At €277 a night I thought we would have a mini fridge or cooler in the room but we didn’t.

08/08/2026: Exceptional Irish institution. Nothing fancy about it, but that's what makes it beautiful. The food you want at incredible prices and great staff. 5/5

Claregalway Hotel
Baile chláir
18/07/2026: We stayed at the claregalway hotel from 6th /10 July with our 2 grandchildren in a family room. First impression on arrival was 10/10. Rooms were, spacious, spotless and comfy beds. The food in the restaurant was absolutely beautiful with a great choice on the menu. We actually stayed on an extra night,,the good weather was a " bonus" . And now to the staff:--::as I didn't get all their names though, Lucy, Niamh and Alba on reception were, pleasant and helpful. Carlos in the restaurant was very efficient and a great personality. Daniel and Rion from the " kids club" were cheerful and always smiling, although I think they were glad to see Grace and Jake go home lol 🤣 they had their " heads fried" 🥺.I would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend it especially for families 🎊🥳🎉
07/06/2026: In general not a bad place just a few issues for starters no cash accepted at reception so there go legal tendor!!! Food, service & our Waiter Donal was excellent.. sink not working right in bathroom, a few cleaning issues!! Coweb etc..nite stay...kids playing on corridor at 11pm rang reception but nothing achieved as it started again at 11.30pm.. Breakfast ...again food good just cold plates..& waitress keep clearing table while people were still eating not good rule of hotel standards I thought?? 😒

Castle Road, Saggart Village
Dublin
20/07/2026: An excellent casual lunch spot with a relaxed atmosphere, and far better than you might expect from a museum café. We visited while exploring the Chester Beatty and found it to be one of the pleasant surprises of our time in Dublin.
The menu offers a tempting range of Middle Eastern-inspired dishes, with plenty of fresh, vibrant flavours. Everything we ordered was well prepared and satisfying, showing that this is much more than a convenient place to grab a quick bite. There is also an impressive selection of cakes and sweet treats, making it an ideal place to linger over coffee after lunch.
The café has a bright, welcoming feel and provides a welcome break from sightseeing. Whether you’re stopping in before or after visiting the museum, it’s a relaxing place to unwind without feeling rushed.
The staff were friendly and efficient, helping create a warm and enjoyable experience from the moment we arrived. Service was prompt, and the whole venue felt well organised despite being quite popular.
Even if you have no particular interest in visiting the Chester Beatty, this café is worth seeking out for the food alone. It’s an excellent example of how a museum café can exceed expectations, offering fresh, flavourful food in a comfortable setting. I’d happily return on a future visit to Dublin, both for another meal and to sample more of the delicious cakes.
28/06/2026: Not immediately obvious to passers-by this cosy cafe with calm and laidback atmosphere sits in a bright atrium-style space inside the Chester Beatty Gallery building.
It serves Middle Eastern and Mediterranean-inspired food, including Palestinian moussaka, Moroccan tagine, various salads, and daily specials, along with something sweet like homemade cakes & baklava. Vegan and gluten-free options are available.
Our choice: Meat moussaka and chicken with rice
Check for two (only mains, tap water
provided): 33 EUR
Overall verdict: 8/10 — a good option for a quick, healthy, and hearty lunch, but not somewhere I would go specifically go unless I was already visiting the museum. And definitely a must do after visiting the Chester Beatty exhibitions.
