12/08/2025: Been at 37 dawson street a few times, today was the first time to have been served by Tomasz, fantastic bar tender, great venue.
11/08/2025: Amazing set up here. We visited for a few drinks before our meal when it was a very relaxed, chilled out setting. Staff very attentive and cocktails served quick. We even returned after our meal for more drinks where the atmosphere was much livelier, great music and all around fantastic buzz

07/09/2025: The lobby on entering the hotel was fabulous. But as soon as we got to our room that’s where it ended. Bathroom was not clean, Stains around the bin on the floor, problem with the hose for the shower, kept popping off the shower head, silicone around shower base has mould on it. At €277 a night I thought we would have a mini fridge or cooler in the room but we didn’t.
07/09/2025: Bring your own pillows and tvs are cheap with only a few channels but location is great and breakfast is good although coffee wasn’t so good

15/08/2025: Nice spot, nice vibe inside. Unfortunately when we arrived most of the tables inside were reserved but we still managed to find a comfy spot. Bartender seemed totally over it but served us ok.

13/08/2025: The minute I seen boiled button mushrooms on the plate …..I knew I was on to another Bad experience……and was I right …….yep …….the sausages were bland…..the rashers were cooked on one side …..you had to pay extra for the Beans on the large breakfast and no hash brown……..the toast was half Done……and the way they look down their nose at ya…….mo people avoid this place …..if that’s the best they can Do…..god help Duncannon

Lovely friendly bar with toptastic Guinness.
Rooms are very clean and comfortable with all you need from shower gel , moisturiser, fresh towels , coffee , teas and complimentary snacks. The power of the shower is seriously good with hot water always . Now breakfast is another level from many places I’ve stayed , served and cooked by the wonderful Norita . All choices are very good but I particularly enjoyed the omelettes , absolutely amazing ! Norita was super friendly and even made some home breads and muffins that were yum , she also gave us a few tips on where to go in Killarney . Totally recommend this place when in Killarney.
17/07/2025: Stayed at Dan Linehan’s on our final night in Dublin before catching an early morning ferry back to Holyhead. Friendly staff, room was fine, food in the bar was good Irish. Walkable to central Dublin bars & not too far to the ferry port.

16/07/2025: Have ordered takeaway from this restaurant several times and the food is good but very long wait times for delivery. The last time we ordered delivery they rejected the order for us being too far away (we lived 2.2km away and have successfully ordered delivery from them many times), when I rung the restaurant to query this, they said they can never deliver to us again since we are “too far” then when I said they had multiple times the person on the phone just stopped replying.

25/07/2025: A good option for a meal in the area with a pleasant atmosphere. The chicken pesto sandwich was delicious, as was the leek and potato soup.
