08/12/2025: We had a fantastic stay at Clifden Station House Hotel. New entrance, bar, restaurant area very stylish and classy. Owners and staff always friendly and welcoming. Rooms stylish & quiet. Had great meal in the Station House bar & loved the seating area on the old railway platform with original brickwork and signs. Breakfast was also amazing with choice of hot plates to order and continental style breakfast bar in a lovely setting. Perfect place for a base to explore stunning landscape. Can’t wait to come back.

28/11/2025: Lovely hotel. Would definitely go again. Lovely atmosphere. Lovely staff. Warm and cozy and comfortable.

20/12/2025: Waiting during 30 mints for order a drink, the staff ignore me. Maybe a gender problem. All the men are have drink. I am well dress, polity, no problem with me. I recommend not go there in busy time between 20:00 to 22:00.

28/11/2025: Walked into Kenny's pub at 7:15 pm for a drink and two thirds of the tables are empty and reserved. And no free tables. If you didn't reserve don't bother going. Go to one of the other pubs in the area.

11/11/2025: as a frequent customer calling anytime on the journey from galway to dublin we called again today...... only to be totally disappointed. we didnt know about revovations and kitchen was closed. we were offered a sandwhich but service chatoic and then a butcher walk through coffee shop woth raw meat oh my god my stomach. next we were charged 27euro for 2 ham and cheese sandwhich a two coffee..... nobody asked how we would like our sandwhich some came on white soft rool with relish which we dont like. my husband walked outside threw his sandwhich in the bin while i complained to be told oh nobody every complained before so basically my opinion didnt matter and cost me 27.50. unfortuantely this is the end of our "relationship" with kennys of lucan

11/08/2025: Want in for a puncture repair but ended up needing two tyres on my daughter’s car. Very efficient staff, especially Jason. Competitive pricing and top class service. Would highly recommend.

22/07/2025: We had a flat tire and took the spare to two other garages before arriving at Moran's. The other garages didn't have our tire size. We were lucky to arrive before their lunch break. Within 30 minutes, the tire was mounted on the rim, replaced, and the spare was back in the trunk. The €100 was well spent! Thank you ;-)

11/10/2025: The mussels were the best I’ve ever had! The warm goat cheese salad was sooooo good! The staff was OK. Didn’t check on you after food was delivered. The view of the beach was lovely.

24/11/2025: Called into Sean's Diner yesterday before heading to the Christmas market. I had scrambled egg with toast (3 slices!) absolutely stuffed I couldn't finish it. €10.50 which included tea, such great value. Place was decorated beautifully with lovely background Christmas music and service was first class. Not my first time here and won't be my last. Keep up the good work Sean 👍

07/10/2025: This place is excellent, the staff we met were very pleasant and friendly, the food (especially the apple tarts) is absolutely top notch, this is a fab place for lunch, coffees/treats/cakes etc. Great to see people making a real effort in their food and interactions with customers, fair play all round.

15/11/2025: What a great stay! The rooms are modern, clean and comfortable. The bar downstairs is great. The vibe and decor is very inviting. Breakfast was delicious-recommend the French toast 🙌🏻 The staff were so friendly and left us wanting for nothing. 100/10

03/12/2025: A trendy but terribly overrated and crowded night bar. Long waiting line, prices are high, the place is absolutely packed with young crowds and the maze-like layout makes it very difficult to find your own group, go to the toilet or order a drink without losing your way around. The waitress attending one of the bars downstairs was probably the unfriendliest staff I have ever encountered in Dublin. Fair to say that she was absolutely overwhelmed by the amount of customers trying to order at the same time. They run very short in personnel. I will not return.

22/11/2025: My Fiancé and I celebrated our engagement party here. The booking process was very easy and the staff were very professional. We asked for a basic booking of just a space for 20 which was organised and to our surprise, 37 Dawson Street provided a bottle of Moët for our booking which was a lovely touch which we really appreciated. Will definitely be suggesting the venue for friends and family going forward.

24/11/2025: First and foremost I wanted to congratulate Jennifer and her team on how the hotel was looking... It was so beautifully decorated for the festive season. I attended the gala ball for the ABI and it was just fantastic from start to finish. The food was out of this world, compliments to the chef and his team. The wait staff were amazing 👏 👏. Its been a long time since I've been so impressed by a hotel and I will be recommending the ocean sands to everyone. I hope to return again soon. I'm visually impaired and delighted to know your hotel is dog friendly also. I brought her with me to stay during the summer and were extremely happy with everything., thank you so much for making it such a magnificent experience for me and I hope to see you all again soon.
