21/10/2024: El supervisor del piso llamó a Hugh y me dijo que frecuentaba el restaurante con frecuencia. En una ocasión a un amigo le dieron una pequeña porción de pescado, no nos molestamos en quejarnos. En cuestión de minutos, un trozo extra de pescado se dejó caer sobre su plato sin comentarios ni explicaciones. He hecho muchas peticiones a lo largo de los años pidiendo que no haya hielo en mi vaso al tener agua embotellada. Soy alérgico al cloro Mi petición fue ignorada a menudo, la última vez que el vaso con hielo y limón se puso en la mesa frente a mí. Pedí un vaso vacío cuando se sirvió mi comida, ... el supervisor o lo que se supone que le griten al barman "La señora no quiere hielo". El limón se dejó en el vaso, y el hielo se retiró. Ese vaso se puso entonces delante de mí. He cenado en el Millhouse durante décadas, y he traído a mi familia extendida y amigos a cenar allí. El mismo supervisor comentó de manera insultante sobre la frecuencia con la que ceno allí, que no era asunto suyo y un insulto vergonzoso e irrespetuoso. a un cliente de pago. Es por eso que ahora ceno regularmente en el Lep Inn, y la Cabra. Ambos sirven comida hermosa y el personal es muy amable. Las porciones de comida son generosas y a un precio justo. El Lep Inn sirve hermosa cerveza rebozada de pescado y patatas fritas Nunca volveré a la casa del molino, ni mis amigos o familiares.

11/11/2024: In the heart of the town of Clifden is a nicely kept well presented cafe/restaurant come B&B. The room was spacious clean and came with all you needed. The breakfast was a lovely traditional irish fry that keeps you going for the day. Teas/coffee for all tastes. In the evening the menu really catered for all tastes but Tappas and pasta a must to sample.

07/11/2024: Restaurant pretty poor.Several Items not available from menu(it happens)Wines not available from menu(unusual)Waitress returned to table several times to check,confirm orders etc.Below average low grade charcutarie.Duck breast inedible. Not sure where the great reviews are coming from.Overall disapointing experience.

16/09/2024: Had a great time at Dunnes bar. Great service and atmosphere. Especially Laura behind the bar. We came from Belgium for the weekend and will definitely be coming for another visit thanks to Laura! Will be recommending to everyone!!

29/10/2024: The hotel itself is very nice and staff are friendly. hotel feels really cosy. but the bad thing is the fire alarm went off 2 times in 2 days wich isn't very common and they were both luckly false alarms. but the rest of the hotel was really nice.

06/09/2024: We went to the bar on Sat afternoon, staff were so welcoming chatty friendly. Craic was good behind the bar. We found the bar to be spotless and great relaxing atmosphere. We enquired about pubgrub Manager recommended Pizza it was lovely and delivered to us in no time. Definitely recommended a visit and we will def be back. SLAINTE

03/10/2024: Stop for lunch in Clifden and decided on here due to reviews. Great choice as the food was great and the service just as good. Made a top in a small town well worth it

29/09/2024: Incredible atmosphere with even more incredible bartenders. I asked for a drink on the menu to be a bit less sweet and was handed my dream drink. They were fun to chat with as well.

07/11/2024: Been going here on and off for years so enjoy it, shame to say it’s not the same as it used to be so wont be back. Stop promoting American style tipping culture. Staff expecting you to tip every time they pour a pint is absolutely ridiculous . If they’re paid poorly, pay them better.

04/10/2024: My friend had her birthday at the jar !! Really good place for it, really friendly staff asking and checking all the time if they could help with anything.. I would highly recommend the place
