10/10/2026: I love going to the Hudson Rooms in Liffey Valley. The staff are also so welcoming and friendly. I've never had a bad meal here and today, even though we just went for some tea and cakes, it still didn't disappoint. Beautiful crumble and brownies and a lovely, lovely cup of tea. I always recommend this place.

04/10/2026: A typical pub where you can enjoy Dublin food and watch a sporting event or live music. We were a group of eight, and we went for dinner and to see the live music. The food was good, the service was good, the music was good, and the Guinness was the best part. In our case, we ordered four pints of Guinness, four pints of Rock Shore, two Irish stews, two truffle burgers, one roast beef, one chicken burger, one sausage with mashed potatoes, three apple crumbles, four ice creams, one brownie, one Irish coffee, and one Baileys coffee, for a total of €316. The bill they brought us included a 12.5% ​​service charge. We were surprised that this charge was handwritten, as if it were only applied depending on the customer, whether they were foreigners or from the city... it wasn't very clear to us.

19/07/2026: The food great here the have a student saver box. The sausages are all different and delishpus and so is there potatoes. the people make it too. Makes a huge difference when people are passionate about your food.

16/07/2026: We stumbled upon this restaurant while visiting Cork. My wife and children wanted to try it, and we weren't disappointed! The staff was very friendly, and the selection was impressive! The hot dogs were beautiful, large, and delicious!

16/10/2026: We met friends here for drinks…the location was changed. I received an email the day of our reservations about the new location. It is not a speakeasy. The atmosphere is great and decorated beautifully. The drink menu was clever with the different eras of when certain drinks were popular. It is a bit pricey, and they closed very early for a Saturday. We were told we could go downstairs to their sister bar…however it was only their second day open and they did not have ingredients for any drink we asked them to make. We ended up just having basic cosmopolitans and old fashions.

13/07/2026: I have stayed in the Grand on many occasions, this time we booked through a third party website which was cheaper but we ended up in a very small bedroom. The Grand does many things well but the breakfast is one of the best parts about staying in this hotel, so pay the extra for breakfast and get a window seat and enjoy the view. Great location, especially when the weather is good like on this visit and if you get a chance go on Howth cliff walk,it's a great experience.

25/06/2026: Beautiful updated room, nice size bathroom. Writing desk, table with two chairs. Tea kettle and a fancy coffee maker. A fan was provided, which was needed because we were there during a hot 🔥 spell in June. The room was very hot and stuffy. Dinner and breakfast served in the restaurant overlooking the bay, just gorgeous. All the food was delicious. Great service throughout all the meals.

27/09/2026: Popped in cos it looked like a traditional Irish bar and I wasn't disappointed! A fantastically beautiful ornate and original place. Only had one bottle of beer but really wished I could have stayed and got mullered! Well worth a visit if yer in Thurles.

18/09/2026: I have never come across such perfection. Every ingredient was top class quality. Proper pot of tea, great service and a real local atmosphere both inside and outside. Hats off to the friendly staff too which made all the difference. Best quality breakfast I have ever had. Black pudding out of this world too.

10/08/2026: I'm speaking from experience about the apartment, and it has an excellent location. The hosts are attentive and friendly; they even booked a taxi for me. The apartment meets all your needs. It is a bit noisy, at least on Saturday nights, but that's the risk you take with the bar downstairs. Everything was very clean.
