The vibe here is relaxed, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. A special mention to Mr. Gabriel, who was a fantastic host. We had a great conversation about Ballinamore, the bar itself, and the World Cup, which made the visit even more memorable. He’s an absolute gem of a person and a great ambassador for local hospitality. As a traveller, experiences like this stay with you long after you’ve left. I loved the vibe of the bar and the genuine friendliness that made me feel right at home. If you’re passing through Ballinamore, Prios Sports Bar is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended! 🍻

16/06/2026: I hate to leave a bad review, but I feel like I was duped by all the glowing ones as my experience was anything but. We stayed at the BlackCat for two nights and it was the two worst nights of sleep of my entire trip. Most complaints seem to be that the rooms are very small, and while that was true for my mom’s room it wasn’t for mine - it was quite spacious. However, it was so LOUD and HOT. It honestly felt like we were sleeping in the kitchen - pots and pans, trash can lids slamming, cans clanging into the trash from 1pm to just before midnight. We had to sleep with the window closed to help subdue the noise (it didn’t work) which meant the room was STIFLING hot. Even when we’d open the window after things quieted down around midnight, it barely cracks open and our room stayed significantly hotter than the hallway outside. I truly don’t know how you’d survive staying here on a warm day - a fan in the rooms would go a long way if they’d provide one. Also, it’s a very cramped building with narrow steep stairs, so just be aware of that. Had I read a review like this alerting me to the noise and heat in the rooms, I would’ve chosen elsewhere. So I feel I need to let others who are sensitive sleepers know.

04/06/2026: I'd give them 10 stars if I could🤞🏻 The price here is not so cheap (imo) but it's affordable!! Like the room is clean, adorable and it is located next to the beach!!🫶🏻 I went back to my room really late, and i asked them if they still had any desserts left. They said they didn't have any left😭 After knowing that i travel here w my boyfriend to celerate his birthday that night, they decided to make us a free dessert🫠 So so sweet. Since then, i always tell my friends to stay here if they come to Galway

28/09/2026: Been my local for over 30 years so they must be doing something right. Reasonable price. Definitely my favorite Raheny pub I even gave 5 stars for food. They always did a great toasted ham sandwich.

07/09/2026: One of my favorite pubs in Dublin. It has several terraces, one of which is heated. The food is good. Reservations are recommended as it's always very busy. The food is delicious. The wings are their specialty. The calamari is very tasty, but the portion is quite small.

20/09/2026: I am writing to formally express my concern regarding a recent experience at your establishment. I purchased a ticket for an event advertised as being for individuals aged 18 and over. As an 18-year-old, I expected to be admitted without issue. However, upon arrival, I was informed by the manager that the event was for those aged 19 and over, which directly contradicted the information provided at the point of sale. When I sought clarification, the manager responded dismissively, stating, “I don’t have time for this,” before abruptly ending the conversation. This behavior was not only unprofessional but also left me feeling disregarded as a consumer. Furthermore, my friends, some of whom are 18 and one who is 19, were not permitted re-entry after leaving the smoking area, which added to the inconsistency and confusion. I would also like to highlight that providing misleading information to consumers can infringe on their rights, as it affects their ability to make informed decisions. The contradictory age restriction on the ticket could be considered misleading under consumer protection laws, which require businesses to provide clear and accurate information. This experience has caused significant frustration and disappointment, as the misleading age restriction and poor communication undermined my trust in your establishment. I kindly request that you review and clarify your age policies to ensure accurate information is provided to customers and that staff conduct is improved to prevent similar occurrences in the future.

20/09/2026: Great sound system. Void 'trumpet' (my interpretation) speakers on ceiling in ground floor are beautiful. The basement is usually more hard-core! And thanks to new air power vents in ceiling is no longer sweat box! Thanks. Unfortunately recent visits confined me to basement ONLY which I hate. The use of all 3 floors including smoking area on 3 makes 4 such a better experience. Management say its down to promoters (to dictate the 'freedom'). I vote to free myself to avoid Wigwam confinement. With regret...

18/08/2026: This was our second time meeting here for a large family birthday celebration. Both times they managed unexpected extra people easily and professionally and gave us great space to move around. The atmosphere is busy for Saturday lunch but in a fun enjoyable way. Service is very nice and pleasant but there was a bit of a wait between courses, especially desert. In saying that they made a lovely birthday version of my sisters desert and all the servers got together to sing Happy Birthday which she loved. Food is hot, generous and delicious with a bit of traditional, a bit of Indian, a bit of Italian as well as burgers etc etc I think I had the nicest cheesecake I have ever eaten ( and I’ve had a fair few!) with their white chocolate and raspberry on a Biscoff base - I was sorry I hadn’t asked for a doggy bag for next day! You won’t be disappointed.

20/08/2026: Myself and my partner went to brunch at The Grayson and we had such a beautiful afternoon! The staff were so friendly & always there to top up our mimosas ☺️ The food was so lovely & the cocktails also were amazing, really nice! We can’t wait to be back x

20/08/2026: We recently visited The Grayson and tried the Bubbles & Brunch menu and thought it was great value for Dublin! The mimosas were the perfect start, and both the chicken caesar salad and classic burger were delicious. The parmesan chips were a particular highlight, definitely recommend tasting them! We both finished with the chocolate brownie, which was gorgeous. The interiors are beautiful, the atmosphere was lovely and we had such an enjoyable experience overall. A gorgeous spot for a weekend brunch right on St Stephen’s Green. We’ll definitely be back!
