21/10/2025: Under new management with a friendly family from Sicily making us feel at home. We love visiting Italy and this food could be straight from any piazza in Italy. We just had lunch made from fresh simple ingredients combined for tasty dishes that only the Italians can do to perfection. Wonderfully authentic Italian cafe serving home cooked fresh Italian food. Grazie mille😁

02/09/2025: OMG, I am in love with this place and all staff which is working there. My friend was celebrate birthday there and I really enjoyed food ant drinks, cozy atmosphere. I highly recommend this place if you want to feel warm and friendly vibes. 🥰

19/12/2025: Eur800.00 was deducted by Mara restaurant 4 days before the date of the reservation. No prior advice or agreement was given. I rang the restaurant owner thinking this was a mistake and the conversation began with an argument, no apology. I cancelled the reservation as a result and - in fairness - the money was returned immediately. I never received any apology for this transaction from Mara which leads me to believe they think this practice is ok. Avoid giving your card for reservation. Maybe the food is good but I'll never find out.

01/10/2025: We stopped by for lunch, great signposting because otherwise we would have missed it. Everything was great. Quick service, hot food, the chips are amazing, big pot of tea, good selection of toasted sandwiches and other hot lunch options. At the end we couldn't believe how cheap it was.

29/09/2025: Such a hidden gem. We loved everything here: cappuccino, English breakfast tea and scone, my family had veggies Toastes and soup which is such a huge portion. The cafe run by a few friendly and welcoming ladies

15/12/2025: We had a wonderful experience hosting our Christmas party here. The atmosphere was welcoming and friendly. The staff were attentive throughout the evening especially Martin and Elaine made sure our whole group felt looked after. We would definitely recommend this place

05/12/2025: Had lunch with friends today and we were all very disappointed with our meals. Two of us had fish and it was tasteless. One had a rice dish and she said it was pickled with salt and one had turkey and ham. The turkey was very scarce and the presentation was awful. But the ham was rank, you could smell it off the plate it was gone off, cant understand how when it was being plated the chef did not smell it. Elaine dealt with it quickly but it soured all our enjoyment. Have been here a few times and was very good each time but today will possibly be our last time. Lovely fire lighting and Elaine on the ball as always.

19/12/2025: Dined here recently, good spot in the Ennis Road area to stop for food. Little bit out of Limerick City centre but if in the vicinity for Gaelic Grounds/Thomond Park/TUS/Millenium Theatre, this place is ideal. Good food and service.

30/11/2025: Lovely hotel about 3kms from the city centre. Loads of surface parking out the back, lovely staff. Comfortable bedrooms, good bar food and a big heated outdoor seating area. Always stay here when in Limerick.

13/11/2025: The Graduate is a personal favourite of mine to get dinner and drinks. Food is always amazing and plenty of it! Great value for money and a fabulous menu! Service was excellent as always. Would highly recommend stopping in for a bite to eat!

06/09/2025: O'Hara's tap room. Went there and had really good beer. Spoke with two of the bartenders (possibly owners?) asked for a sticker (which no breweries or distillers carry in Ireland) and received a free t shirt instead. Great place good people!
