09/07/2025: Don't sleep on this place - best americano I've had in all of Ireland over the last 2 years I've been here. Food was also delicious and service was great. Would totatly live here in the mornings if I were based in Cork.

04/07/2025: Disappointing. Coffee was good but waited 20 mins for my poached eggs on sourdough, meanwhile at least 5 people who arrived after me were served their food. When the food did eventually arrive (without apologies for the lateness), the poached eggs were hard.

21/06/2025: My partner and I were looking for a nice little cafe/diner to get some breakfast and saw that the reviews of this place were excellent; however, our experience was anything but. When we arrived the layout was slightly confusing so we were unsure if the outdoor seating was part of the cafe and when we asked the waitress she was quite rude saying that they had a big function (there is one room which had one family of around 6 people and 2 small outdoor tables) and told us to take a seat and wait because it would be a while, this was before we even had a chance to ask our question. After waiting around 15 minutes (which was no issue) we gave our order. I had ordered a caramel latte with my breakfast and the lady called back our order to confirm, only to bring out a cappuccino instead… they did correct this and bring out a caramel latte afterward. The food we received was warm at best, we were sitting outside but it arrived warm and it was a hot day so that was disappointing. We should also mention that the glasses were filthy with our tea/coffee stains and fingerprints. After our breakfast we wanted to leave asap which we could not due to the fact that the card machine was “gone” and after waiting another 20 minutes a woman returned with the card machine, which was her phone… the bathrooms were really unpleasant, very grimy and felt unclean. They were the equivalent to a petrol station bathroom with stains on the walls, and urine all over the toilet seat. The only good thing about this place is the price, it was very cheap, it cost us €25 for both of us. However even the cheap price would not bring us back. We were unsure of where to put this in the review but it is also worth mentioning that the interior was terribly dirty but there were three staff members working and they had 2 of them sweeping the walkway outside for some reason. The reviews are very misleading and we would not recommend to anyone.

08/06/2025: Fab food, great setting. Busy service for a focused team but nonetheless a lovely Sunday lunch after a walk on a beach.

02/06/2025: We ate there. It was okay, but in our opinion, a bit overpriced for what you get. The Coke was very stale and lacked carbonation. The burger wasn't assembled properly, but it tasted okay. We wouldn't go back, though.

18/06/2025: I recently stayed at the River Court Hotel and had a really lovely experience. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable, providing everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with a great variety of options to suit all tastes. Most of all, the staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating,friendly, professional, and always willing to assist. A great central location and a warm welcome made it a memorable stay. Highly recommend!

17/06/2025: An absolute pleasure to stay, so welcoming and friendly. Location was perfect as one of our friends hurt her leg beforehand. Have to mention Phil, a great ambassador for the hotel. She was so nice and friendly. Lovely to meet her.

21/07/2025: A perfect place to stay while in Killarney as the location is spot on ! Lovely friendly bar with toptastic Guinness. Rooms are very clean and comfortable with all you need from shower gel , moisturiser, fresh towels , coffee , teas and complimentary snacks. The power of the shower is seriously good with hot water always . Now breakfast is another level from many places I’ve stayed , served and cooked by the wonderful Norita . All choices are very good but I particularly enjoyed the omelettes , absolutely amazing ! Norita was super friendly and even made some home breads and muffins that were yum , she also gave us a few tips on where to go in Killarney . Totally recommend this place when in Killarney.

17/07/2025: Stayed at Dan Linehan’s on our final night in Dublin before catching an early morning ferry back to Holyhead. Friendly staff, room was fine, food in the bar was good Irish. Walkable to central Dublin bars & not too far to the ferry port.

15/03/2025: One of the best Run sports Bars I have ever been in so friendly and knowledgeable about topics of all aspects of sports. The best top class Toilets in Kerry and beyond.

19/12/2024: We had the day 2 of our wedding in The Castle and the lads couldn't do enough for us, Mark, Darren, Fergal and Rachel thank you so much for everything! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was lovely as always, everyone had a great night and our family from County Down are dying to come back the next time they are down!

15/07/2025: The bar was quiet in the pm, nice bar at the entrance and good service, but the restrooms were dirty. We left after our beer.

06/07/2025: Pasé aquí el jueves y con el clima pude sentarme afuera al sol. A veces puede estar muy concurrido, pero la comida es buena. Esta es nuestra segunda visita. La última vez tuvimos a nuestro perro con nosotros, así que nos ayudó poder sentarnos adentro debido al mal tiempo. Muy amigable con los perros, volveremos.

16/07/2025: Lunch time for toasties. Lovely pub, good value for money. But bread used for toasties was dry and brittle. Needs better bread.

13/07/2025: Tje best pub I've been in Ireland so far! Delicious food, awesome atmosphere and vibe, very friendly staff,! The Nostalgia pizza, pulled pork and the half chicken rotisserie are absolutely delicious! Highly recommended!!
