The Bogbean Cafe

01/04/2024: I highly recommend the bog bean when staying in Roundstone the owner is lovely and the b&b is a real gem! We stayed for two nights over Easter. The rooms were comfortable and had everything we needed. The breakfast included delicious homemade sausage rolls and granola pots from the cafe downstairs and the owner was very accommodating of our dietary requirements. I hope to be back soon!

I was watching a football match and they turned it off before end of first half.
When asked to put the match back (after 2nd half already started back) they refused to. Speechless.
02/04/2024: Rip of this place. Was charged 40 euros for 2 persons to walk in Saturday night. There was a bunch (30 people) of very young persons...straight away after that i went back to security and askif we can have a refund as there nothing to do for us. Of course they refuse it. ..we went out with 2 other persons, who told me, they paid only 10 euros for each...shocking
Better avoid that place....

20/01/2024: The air was thick with the aroma that seasoned pint men covet the most...an almost intangible mix of Friday afternoon's and large sporting events. The Beamish was delectable and fortified by a draw that would shame an architect. A true gem of a pub that is a garrison of the way Ireland should be represented in Kinsale. Side note....the bacon fries were so reasonably priced I spent more on them than pints.

20/02/2024: Moorland Cafe is a cosy and friendly place to enjoy fresh and tasty food. Their Irish breakfast, sandwiches and buns are delicious and satisfying. The service is fast and efficient, and the prices are reasonable. A great spot for a quick food or a sweet treat.

26/10/2023: Great pub with friendly atmosphere, and great Guinness. We were in on a Thursday evening and it was a little quiet but the barman was friendly and some good banter. Not overly touristy like some pubs in Dingle.

19/12/2023: The atmosphere is special here in An Chistin. All the tables are like separate places with their own interior, but all together everything is made in one stile - in interesting stile: you go from one corner to another, from one room to another and you can't stop wondering. There are a lot of historical photos of Carraroe, you can find people you know on them, even the words of the legendary song of Tomas Mac Eoin.
So, it is not only a pub, but it is like a cultural place!

31/03/2024: We all had the roast dinner and started a really nice bottle of red wine. I may have also ordered the pecan and honeycomb sundae... Delicious food, lovely setting, and friendly, attentive staff.
16/03/2024: Creative high quality dinner, proposing a large choice of dishes (fish, meat and vegan). We enjoy the savors. Fries are really good.
For desert, brownie is a safe but good choice!
