09/08/2026: Great garden centre, but very disappointing café I recently visited Arboretum Garden Centre and, to be fair, the garden centre itself is very good. There’s a great selection of plants and flowers, everything is clearly well looked after and the quality is excellent, although I did find the prices on the expensive side. The playground is also a big positive. It’s free for kids, very clean and well maintained, and a great addition to the garden centre. Unfortunately, the café really let the overall experience down for me. The prices are extremely high for what is essentially a self-service setup with exposed pastries and a deli/hot food counter. At those prices, I would expect proper table service. What particularly frustrated me was trying to order a sausage roll. I simply wanted a sausage roll on its own, but was told it had to come with either soup or salad for around €15. I didn't want soup or salad — just a sausage roll! It seems ridiculous that there isn't an option to purchase one on its own. Overall, the garden centre and playground are very good, but the café setup, pricing and my experience with the staff really put me off. Unfortunately, I left feeling that the overall experience simply wasn't good value for money, and I won't be rushing back.

12/08/2026: Honestly the worst donut I ever had. My friend and I each got one. They were full of dye but no sweetness, or super dry and odd fillings. Gas station type of donuts. But high quality at all.

16/07/2026: I am a fussier eater when it comes to certain places. The efficiency attention to detail variety of cold and hold drink with a fantastic buck for your money. Sinead should have her own bakery she is outstanding.

24/06/2026: Really one of the top 2 or 3 pubs in Dingle. Simple, understated and wonderful vibe.

20/06/2026: A small authentically Irish traditional pub. It has a good amount of seating for its size. The large windows make it bright and there was a low hum of chatter creating a relaxing atmosphere. It has floor to ceiling shelving running down both sides so was probably a traditional grocery/ hardware shop as well as a pub back in the day. Lots of the usual knick knacks and antique drinks related signage and seemingly original fittings. The bar man was friendly and efficient and I had a nice chat with a couple of locals at the bar. Overall exactly what you want from a pub!

07/08/2026: Went to an interesting talk here. Looks nice & comfortable, but seats were hard to find because the sofas fit 4 but many were being hogged by 2.

05/08/2026: Was told that at the door that it was mandatory to leave my rucksack in the cloakroom. No evidence of that on ticket. Guy in cloakroom then asked me if I had any cash on me with a smirk on his face. Then said it costs €30 to put my bag in the cloakroom. Complete scam

10/08/2026: We were very happy with the food we ordered for my son's birthday party. It arrived exactly on time and was hot/ready to serve in bain maries, which meant we did not have to worry about reheating etc and that people could serve themselves in a very relaxed fashion. Everyone enjoyed their me and we even had enough to send people home with extra portions etc. Would highly recommend Catering Tralee and we would definitely order again.

Monika was a pleasure to deal with at all times and very helpful in advising regarding food options. The food itself was absolutely gorgeous and very plentiful and all our guests were very complementary. We will definitely be choosing Catering Tralee for any future special occasions. 21/07/2026: Really loved the Cream and fruit cake we got here. The cake had the perfect texture and flavor; the fruit was perfectly ripe with a good crisp texture. I honestly have had few cakes that compare. Super happy we decided to get our wedding cake here. I really recommend it!

07/07/2026: A great bar to have a drink on a sunny day, great atmosphere and buzz around the place. The food is very good iv had the chicken and fish goujons both were very tasty and served with a very nice salad. The service is also very good and the staff are great hosts.

02/07/2026: The Bank House Pub is Ireland. We are anchored off the island. In the dinghy we ride to the ferry dock. 1 house, 1 pub. Irish mist. Inside a totally warm welcome. Fantastic.

01/07/2026: The service was amazing and the hotel itself is located perfectly in the city with St. Stephen’s Park right across the street. Breakfast was definitely a highlight! Will definitely look to book again.

09/06/2026: Just back from a fabulous overnight stay in The Fitzwilliam hotel. Fantastic location right beside the Luas. Shauna in reception was exceptional and went above and beyond for us from the moment we arrived and was so friendly and welcoming… as was all staff throughout our stay. Food and drinks were just fabulous and rooms were stunning. Highly recommend a stay here and will definitely be back soon.
