19/10/2025: Came here last night to celebrate my birthday and the staff really went out of their way to make me feel special. You can tell the people who work here really enjoy what they do. Couldn’t have asked for a better evening thanks so much to every at Luigi Malones.

10/10/2025: For beer, order the Murphy, a Cork-only beer. It has a really smooth head and a great flavor. For food, I ordered BBQ Baby Pork Ribs and Shrimp Fajitas, which perfectly suited my Korean palate. The pork ribs were a bit bland, so I asked for some BBQ sauce to dip them in, and it was perfect. The restaurant is spacious, comfortable, and friendly.

14/09/2025: Plenty of parking, lovely friendly staff and the food I've only tried on a Sunday but I can't complain. Good holdsome carvery that will keep you going. Dessert selection isn't bad either. 2 adults and 2 children, no time for dessert on last dinning

Una cálida y amable bienvenida - encantadores cócteles - excelente comida - muy buen vino - un entorno cómodo - precios muy razonables. Este es un súper restaurante, y visitamos a menudo - y nunca se decepcionó. Muy recomendable.

22/09/2025: I'm amazed we haven't been in here before as we live so close. This place could do with some more advertising but saying that, I don't think it needs it, as it was very busy. We got some coffees and cake but the food looked really nice so we'll have to go back and have some.

03/09/2025: I booked the upper restaurant room for a private party, which was my best decision ever. The place was full, but despite that, the team was lovely, very attentive, and patient. The food was delicious and delivered quickly. If you want to throw a party and don't know where to do it, that's the place.

11/08/2025: Do you ever feel like you’ve been cheated out of a good meal? That’s what we experienced. We’d walked past Mother Reilly’s more times than I can count, always promising, “Next sunny day, we hit the beer garden.” Saturday gave us that gift — blue skies, a rare Dublin sun, and the added temptation of some nice chicken wings on the menu. Seemed like fate. The garden’s a good spot in theory — if you can navigate the strange, U-shaped labyrinth of corridors and doorways to figure out how to get served. No lounge staff in sight, so we hiked to the main bar. Three staff at the end, mid-conversation, eyes glazed with the kind of indifference that says we’re off the clock in our heads. I asked for a menu and a pint; the barman waved me back to my seat, said the lounge staff would come. Ten minutes later, they did. The wings came in either ½ kg or full kg portions — a size measurement of food we both found odd, and in hindsight, should have been our first warning. We ordered the half kilo with fries and then waited well over 30 minutes, long enough to seriously contemplate walking out. When they finally arrived, the wings were so small they felt like the runt cousins of actual chicken. There was little to no meat on them — the weight of the bones clearly justified the price tag. Fries? Cool, naked, unseasoned. We went on another salt-seeking trek through the maze. We left €45 lighter and still hungry. No buzz, no atmosphere, no care from the people running the joint. The kind of place that doesn’t know it’s in the hospitality business. There’s a million spots in Dublin where you can get a decent pint and wings that won’t leave you cursing the day. This, sadly, isn’t one of them.

13/09/2025: Loved it, especially the pizza available at the back which you can eat inside. The pub itself is old and full of those interesting trinkets and signs made famous in Irish pubs. A little bit touristy but that's ok.

09/07/2025: A lovely local bar, a few minutes walk from the nearby hotel. Worth stopping by.

07/10/2025: Lovely spot, great staff. Excellent for having parties. It needs a vegan option so I wouldn't come to eat here. On request it does offer a vegan platter for parties but sadly no vegan option any other time.

01/10/2025: Best coffee in the whole town as a coffee enthusiast for years I can taste the good quality .Usually In other places coffee beans are burnt (very bad for health ) but this place surprised me they really know their stuff .Aside from the coffee their shop is unreal .full of organic healthy options .domt see that often so 5/5 perfect .atmosphere is unreal too .Owner of the places is the kindest woman I’ve met so far .a ray of sunshine

07/09/2025: Had been hoping to try Mara for a while now and went for their Harvest Festival tapas menu last night - it did not disappoint! The atmosphere of the restaurant feels really special, the service was great and the food was unique and delicious. Special mention for the burnt basque cheesecake which was amazing! Looking forward to visiting again soon.

03/09/2025: On a quiet Sunday evening we had a ovely inventive tasting menu with Luis fusing Japanese cuisine with Irish produce and his Spanish influences. Also great wine pairings!

22/06/2025: After moving to the area we finally got to visit and we wasn’t disappointed. It’s great that you can have a drink in the bar area and have a look at the menu before moving through to the restaurant. All our dishes were fantastic and they have a great wine selection. This is the sort of place you could enjoy a 3 course meal with a bottle of wine or a bowl of mussels with a pint of lager. Many more visits to follow hopefully!

27/04/2025: Finders Inn, Nohoval is warm, cosy, full of character and charm. The food is top class - always - with plenty to choose from. My favourites the hors d'oeuvre or Seafood in Filo pastry to start followed by Cassoulet of Seafood or Rack of Lamb for mains (I find it very difficult to choose!) Delicious sides (included in price) potato gratin, roasted vegetables and chips add to make this a 10/10 meal on flavour every time. We LOVE coming to Finders for a night out. It’s the best restaurant as far as I’m concerned.

11/10/2025: Stopped in out of the blue, the waiter found a table for us, even though it was busy and gave us great service. This was matched by the food, which was fabulous, we had the lamb and beef, which was some of the best on our Irish trip.
