03/08/2025: Just popped in on our way back from Carlow around 5.30pm and enjoyed the Beef special and Collette had the fish & chips Cod special,both were excellent 👌

01/07/2025: I loved the bartender out front. He was really personable and shared a tip for where to eat the next night when the pub was closed. It took a while to be seated and then for our food to come out, but we enjoyed a beverage while we waited. Most of us ordered the special...steak and Guinness pie. It was pretty good, came with fries. I didn't know there'd be mushrooms, so I had to pull them out. The desserts were a hit as there was Pavlov and fruit, dticky pudding, and a brownie with ice cream...yum! Too bad the pub isn't open again while we are here so we could try other menu items. It is open Thurs-Sunday only.

26/08/2025: I had a very disappointing experience at this place. The overall cleanliness did not inspire confidence — the cutlery was kept in a container that looked dirty, and the only fork left was sitting on top of crumbs. I ordered the chicken curry with rice, but while eating I noticed a small blue piece of what looked like cloth mixed in with the rice. I immediately pointed this out to a staff member. She apologised, took the plate away, and then returned just a couple of minutes later with the exact same plate, saying it was “just a tiny piece of paper” and placed it back in front of me. When I asked if they expected me to continue eating that, she simply said “no, sorry about that” and walked away. Between the lack of cleanliness, foreign objects in the food, and the dismissive response from staff, I cannot recommend this place.

29/08/2025: Here is another popular café, very well known by the people of Cork for its food that will make you take your hat off even when drinking a simple espresso. Café Gusto opened here and here it was better to have a small, crowded room than a large, empty one. Here people come and go all day long. It closes around 6:00 p.m. Cafés of this quality deserve the best. We are very grateful for the wonderful service and charming friendliness. Thank you very much.

23/06/2025: Beautiful old Irish country bar with lovely outdoor seating area. For Michael Collins fans definitely worth a visit too. Perfect pint of Guinness too.

05/08/2025: Really nice garden centre and cafe, with a series of charming interconnected gardens to walk through behind the garden centre. Prices are better than in garden centres closer to Dublin and the new pavilion means all of the plants are under cover. Cafe closes at 5.30 and centre at 6

02/08/2025: Disappointed in the overall care and maintenance here! Toilets were very stinky… even in the cafe it was possible to smell the toilets!

01/09/2025: We went to have a few drinks for my friend's 50th Birthday. It's a very nice pub. The Guinness was good. We had a nice evening in the pub.

24/08/2025: If I could give this place zero stars I would. Drinking here tonight, had a verbal row with friends. Bar staff intervened, one of the bar staff Father's didn't like my tone towards his son, so threatened to assault me along with his mate. I ended up choked out from behind, unconscious on the floor no one helped me up! Got up myself only to be thrown out by staff. I called the Gardai never showed up. Management were highly obnoxious said the cameras aren't working and to head home! Solicitor on Monday for me to request CCTV and to sue this pub for dereliction of duty! I could have been killed, management didn't give a damn! Avoid this place!

06/07/2025: Went here after a lovely hike in glendalough and was greeted by the most lovely of servers, Amy, who kept us entertained for our entire visit with quick wit and great service. Would highly recommend going here to meet this lovely woman alone

29/06/2025: We were out as family in and around Roundwood and rang this restaurant to find about food options as we had specific dietary requirements and they were super helpful, knowledgeable. We came down for food and enjoyed a very nice meal 4 of us ( 2 Kids and 2 adults). What made our visit special was the behaviour of the staff, they were super nice. Would definitely recommend and also visit again.

28/08/2025: Woah! This place was an accident find and I'm so glad we found it! It was raining and we were trying to find somewhere to meet our friend and stumbled in. It was decorated in this gothic, dark fashion which I loved. I ended up getting 2 Irish Coffees and a cider and some food and it was so wonderful. We ended up staying there for nearly 3 hours. I definitely recommend this on a rainy day in Dublin. 11/10

22/06/2025: After moving to the area we finally got to visit and we wasn’t disappointed. It’s great that you can have a drink in the bar area and have a look at the menu before moving through to the restaurant. All our dishes were fantastic and they have a great wine selection. This is the sort of place you could enjoy a 3 course meal with a bottle of wine or a bowl of mussels with a pint of lager. Many more visits to follow hopefully!

27/04/2025: Finders Inn, Nohoval is warm, cosy, full of character and charm. The food is top class - always - with plenty to choose from. My favourites the hors d'oeuvre or Seafood in Filo pastry to start followed by Cassoulet of Seafood or Rack of Lamb for mains (I find it very difficult to choose!) Delicious sides (included in price) potato gratin, roasted vegetables and chips add to make this a 10/10 meal on flavour every time. We LOVE coming to Finders for a night out. It’s the best restaurant as far as I’m concerned.

30/08/2025: Great place. Been here many times. The staff are always so kind. Great Full Irish Breakfast. Great place to have a pint. Overlooks the lough.

29/07/2025: I love this place and have been coming here for many years as we live close go but last few times, one of the waitresses (brunette lady with bob haircut) has simply been horrible. She’s extremely unfriendly and smug for absolutely no reason. It’s a pity because it’s a nice place but they’ll def lose their repeat customers.

25/07/2025: This is a real hidden gem! Absolutely delicious, home made food. Everything is so fresh and great gluten free options too. The banana bread is melt in your mouth! Very friendly staff too. I highly recommend.
