30/03/2024: Must stop for craft beer fans. Best selection of beers in Cork, and possibly Ireland. No price penalty for small pours means you can try several beers. Very unique and well thought out selection. Have a few outdoor seats too, which were awesome when the rain stopped

14/02/2024: Excellent service from the staff here who are so knowledgeable about what they sell and are really friendly! A pure gem of a Bar that definitely deserves a visit if you are in Cork City! You won't be disappointed.

18/03/2024: Really very nice place. The team is really very pleasant and efficient. The prices are a little high but the dishes are excellent. Special mention to the fish & chips which fully deserves its reputation. The desserts are very good, a little too plentiful but is that really a problem?

18/03/2024: Myself and my family Was accommodated last minute during St Paddy’s weekend . Rooms were great in a great location. Unfortunately didn’t have time to try the fish and chips. Will be back

01/04/2024: Didn't rate the food as I didn't have any. We had an amazing time the last 2 years here. Such a good atmosphere the staff is so friendly and you get served right away. The front outside of the bar always looks amazing, and there was live music both times we were there, one being Johnny Brady, which was held in the back area, which is absolutely massive. And the other was a man and his guitar, and it was a brilliant night. Highly recommended

13/12/2023: The best pub in North Donegal. Great Guinness and could get served top quality oven baked pizzas from the unique pizza oven restaurant out the back. Music then started at 9pm. Will be back soon enough.

04/04/2024: First time that I didn’t host Easter for all the family and chose The Fox and Hare to do it for me ! Had the perfect Easter Sunday in Cookes last week ,family travelled from Tipperary and Dublin our table was just perfect ,plenty of privacy, huge variety in an excellent menu .Tasted as good as the menu read. No waiting time but no hurried feel either. It was an outstanding success cannot thank Amy enough for her attention and all the staff Family have voted it will be our new tradition!! 23/03/2024: I was in to this shop this morning and one of the staff (not the asian) was a bit rude to me. She said infront of my face that she cant understand my accent and I do understand if she is a native speaker but she is from other eurooean country with a thick accent like mine. I work with loads of irish but they never tell that in front of me.

27/03/2024: Very nice soup and sandwiches. The coffee is good and good value for money. The service can be a bit slow but it's worth the wait. The staff are very nice and the place is so clean.

11/02/2024: This is a superb place to go. The food is of the highest quality. The owner and staff are very friendly and excellent at their jobs, the service is fast and efficient, the prices are reasonable and the coffee is lovely. 5 stars well deserved.

28/03/2024: Not even the bread is vegan, so avoid if you’re thinking you having at least a sandwich. Service is poor, I get it English is not their mother tongue is so it was a bit difficult to get to understand each other, though they seem to not care at all about interacting with people. We are talking about vegan not gluten free options being totally absent from the menu, it should be a given these days since it is just a matter of choices and not about having a totally separate area altogether to handle vegan food, it’s enough to just state it in the menu. The place itself is nice, just a pity I could only get oat latte. Food on the pricey side, since reviews from my fellows at the table were good, just not extraordinarily good compared to the price.

27/03/2024: Fantastic crepes. Never had a savoury on before and they are fab. So are sweet ones but lighter. Staff were lovely

04/04/2024: I heard about this place from friends. Well worth a visit. High quality fast food. I had the burger which was excellent. My partner had the fishnchips. Equally excellent. We found a table out the back in the sunshine. If you're planning a visit to east Cork put this on your to-do list.

22/03/2024: Well worth a visit. Self service but the food was top notch and very reasonable. 3 adults and 2 kids was €67 (food only) Only marking it down to 4 stars as you have to get your own drinks at the bar.

06/03/2024: The food was ok - nothing to do with Spanish tapas but the quality was good - a bit overpriced. The service wasn't good at all, unfortunately. The staff should get more training for sure. When you go to the "wine bar" you would expect some sort of advice and a bit of knowledge about wines. The cocktails we ordered were a joke - €24 for 2 cocktails with no flavour and a dash of alcohol. It was a disappointment, we won't go back there.

30/03/2024: Absolutely fabulous place to relax with friends, have a tasty meal and a pint. Most main sporting events are broadcast on the big screen too.

12/03/2024: We were brought in when a Communion was going on... Felt bit awkward .. Child had left a tissue with res sauce inside of it and waiter forgot to take it off table 😅

08/03/2024: Probably my 10th time eating in the Seven arches and every time I'm blown away by the dishes they're so elequently put together with delicious flavours and the freshest of vegetables, food to die for 10/10 and the service with thanks to Shauna and her colleagues for another memorable evening. My partner couldn't decide what wine to have and they happily offered her a taste of numerous wines and helped her match it to her dish. The deserts are top notch too. Can't explain how amazing they were. If your looking for somewhere to go very reasonable pricing and great quality food. Head to the seven arches.

25/03/2024: If you don't order water it's a great pub. Unfortunately, the water bottles had residue in them that was floating around and even after the staff spoke about it, we were brought new bottles that had the same problem. But the food was still very tasty and the service was always friendly.
