30/12/2025: Really nice cozy pub. Rumour has it you can sometimes see Colin Farrell there. Didn't seem him, there. 😅 Cherrs 🍻

15/12/2025: Irish pub, very large and typically warm. Nice family atmosphere in the evenings. There are six rooms, located just above the main building, but they're still quite well soundproofed. They don't serve breakfast in the morning, but there are other places nearby.

24/01/2026: Politely shown to our table, lovely lunch menu, the food was very nice,staff very attentive. Lovely place to go for a social drink or for dining.

18/01/2026: Staff were lovely and very friendly. The food was delicious and great value.

23/01/2026: Brian is awesome at this teeny tiny pub! We were only able to stay for one drink (tired mother-in-law), but we wish we could have stayed for hours! Thanks for the brief bit of music and camaraderie!

07/01/2026: We decided to go by Hole in the Wall because of its history and the reviews were good — we stayed for 6 hours and left saying it was the best night of our life. The bar is small (only about 9 chairs) and forces you to make friends quick. We met people from all over, told stories, sang songs, and played lots of instruments. Michael, the owner of the bar, is incredible and Brian is very kind and a talented musician. Loads of laughs, great people, lots of Guinness (the only tap). Show up with an open heart and you’ll have a wonderful time.

10/12/2025: The Talbot Midleton is a great hotel in a good location with a bus stop right outside. All of the staff that we met were friendly and professional whatever their job. We had lovely food in the bar and there was a good selection for breakfast. Our room was warm and comfortable. There is just one thing that I don't like and that is the shower curtain! A nice bath screen would be so much better. As repeat guests We once again totally enjoyed our stay and we'll be back. Thank you and well done everyone at the Talbot Midleton.

10/12/2025: We were a family of 24 staying overnight and attending the Christmas party. What a great night from start to finish. From the minute we arrived at check in the staff were so friendly and helpful. This is our 2nd Christmas staying here and we will definitely be back next year. A wonderful hotel with amazing staff. Thank you for making our weekend so memorable. All the rooms were beautiful too.

01/01/2026: They were able to squeeze us in last-minute for dinner in new years eve - lovely food, drinks, and staff. They had 2 vegetarian options too which was great

28/12/2025: At Mannions everything is quick and tasty, with no unnecessary waiting. The staff are polite and attentive. Portions are large, the food is good, and the dessert especially deserves recognition — very tasty.

09/01/2026: Tried the famous Irish coffee ☕. It's tastes good.

03/01/2026: Had quite the rude experience with a bartender yesterday. I asked politely did they serve ginger beer. In a mocking and rude tone. The bartender stated "Jesus no, this is galway we dont serve that rubbish" and laughed. His overall demeanor wasnt pleasant. I would have ordered something else. But the bar man was so rude and abrasive. Its 2026, ginger beer is crafted by amazing irish and local brands. Examples, porters or zingibeer. I'm irish not a tourist

03/02/2026: Staff is super friendly and great atmosphere.

30/01/2026: The only thing I liked about this place is the food. It was delicious. I read majority reviews of this restaurant about the exceptional customer service and friendly staff, but unfortunately didnot experience that. As soon as we walked into the restaurant, one of the staff members was like what can I do for you. Thats a very unusual greeting I heard when you enter a restaurant. After we were seated, both the male staff were talking loudly amongst themselves and staring continously at us, which made the experience very uncomfortable. The music was a bit loud as well. Found the tone of the staff to be very casual and disinterested. Was also surprised to see the restaurant empty apart from two other tables on a Thursday evening. Overall an allright experience.

27/09/2025: Dropped in for an early lunch today. Everything was excellent. Good food, good service and a lovely atmosphere. They understood well and catered for particular dietary requirements. Thanks to the management and staff.

22/12/2025: A bit on the expensive side. Scrambled egg coffee and pancakes over 30 euro Dogs are allowed in which I felt uneasy about in a small area where food is served. I went in for an irish breakfast which looked good online only to be told the menu has changed and no longer available. Unsure if I would return 7/10

01/02/2026: The Cliffs of Moher… what can I say, a true marvel. We were lucky enough to visit them on a spectacular day, even more so in the middle of January 🍀. They also have a very comprehensive visitor center, with a great souvenir shop, a café, and exhibitions.

18/01/2026: Lovely breakfast, seated area if you have to wait which was not long at all and worth it. Friendly staff will definitely be back.
