28/03/2024: Great food, reasonable prices, good size portions too. The only downside is young, inexperienced staff. 4 different waitresses approached us. We asked 3 of them the same question, each one of them disappeared, one by one, then the last one, much more experienced answered all and served us too. I work in hospitality and I don't like to complain but rather share my feedback as any feedback helps to resolve issues.

18/03/2024: Great pub, good choice of beers, wines and spirits. Staff are sound. The interior is cosy and there is a large smoking/out door seating area which has covered/uncovered seating on a sunny day and has a extending canopy for the colder/wet days. Lovely atmosphere and the pizzas a good. Dog friendly too.

28/03/2024: Second time we've been here, what a lovely place! Great atmosphere, we had lunch and despiste being super busy, our food came out quickly and was really tasty and well presented - compliments to the chef! The staff were friendly and helpful. Totally recommended, we will be back on our next visit to Ballybofey.

staff and owner.
22/03/2024: Busy, vibrant, pub. While the age profile was on the young side ( and lots of board games being played) us older folks felt very comfortable. Service was a bit slow as they were very busy but it definitely won't stop me going back. Burgers and fish & chips were very good. And even with a few drinks the bill was 35 euro each incl tips

01/04/2024: Our amateur acting club had our annual night out at the 360 recently. We had the castle room all to ourselves and the atmosphere was brilliant. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the night. The food and service was excellent. Adam and Conn in particular were amazing. After dinner we were able to mingle and chat and nobody felt pressure to leave. We as a group will definitely be back.

30/03/2024: My boyfriend and I are visiting in Kildare and walked past this place on our way into town. We decided to have breakfast here and MY GOSH the vegan options were EXCELLENT!!! we got the vegan French toast and vegan potato, red pepper, and onion hash. Highly recommend, 10/10! 😁❤️

03/04/2024: To avoid disapointment, you must book a table in advance if you want to enjoy the entertainment. We were turned away because nobody told us of the need to book. The only bar in town where we were turned away! This is not a bar and entertainment, this is more a dinner show, all seated as far as we could see!

I had the chicken casserole it was wonderful. the👨🍳chef came to check the food was ok and gave us some information on where to go fishing . The service was provided by two ladies it was brilliant, some conversation, and fast service .Not my first time in this place and won't be the last.
17/02/2024: Staff so nice food super nice cheap easy quick. Service simply brilliant. Eat there regularly not one thing to complain about.

The Tea Rooms Derrynane

03/04/2024: Derrynane House is a lovely little museum near Caherdaniel. Even though it is very small, all the exhibits are very lovingly arranged and the staff on site are extremely dedicated and willing to provide information.
If you want, you can spend quite some time there and listen to the stories about Daniel O'Connell and his family. The adjoining café offers a few snacks and the nearby beach is ideal for wonderful walks. Im park there is a little fairy wood.
Particularly noteworthy on the beach is a house shaped like a ship.
04/02/2024: We didn't visit the house itself, but a very informative tour down to the beach started from here. Our tour guide explained various edible plants that you can find and eat on the beach. He also had samples with him or picked them directly.
