Would highly recommend the restaurant, staff friendly, service good, food perfect.
Placed the food order, in not even 30 min it was on the table.
If ur in the Sligo area just walk and see it for urself!!
04/07/2025: Have been here a handful of times and food and service is usually good. However, this time we received very poor service. Was waiting fifteen minutes to place our orders and another 40 minutes for the food. We ordered a chicken curry and a steak sandwich. Food was bland and the steak was full of gristle, and the dishes were quite literally thrown in front of us with nothing said about the wait times. Went to pay and the receipts were thrown at us. Likely will not be revisiting.

05/07/2025: When they say they have the best Irish Coffee they aren't lying. I was hooked from the first sip. It's a cozy place to hang out for drinks as well.

The bar staff and facilities provided were all great. There is quite a lot of interesting decor to look at throughout the pub too

14/07/2025: we had lovely toasted sandwiches and lovely birds coming onto the table for crumbs. The house was very informative with so many relics. We had a lovely leisurely walk in the gardens and it was a lovely experience. we would highly recommend a visit

La comida era absolutamente deliciosa , los tamaños de las porciones eran enormes y había un montón de condimentos proporcionados como extra. Era el tema de conversación del día y Jason era un placer tratar con él. Definitivamente los usaré para todas mis ocasiones familiares. Jason también me proporcionó equipo para mantener la comida caliente, que era tan útil en el día y quitó todo el estrés. No podría estar más feliz con cómo fue todo el día.

20/06/2025: We always love this place for food but I have to say that the smell of oil fumes can be overpowering at times. Even in warm weather it's there and I notice a pellet stove up further which cannot cause the fumes. I also notice that nobody from the establishment doesn't answer reviews which Imust say is not very business like.

09/07/2025: We had a trip down from the North of Ireland for a holiday staying in a nearby campsite. They told us to visit this garden centre as i love my garden. I just loved this garden centre it had so many plants to look at some I hadn't saw before so I had to have a few for my new garden bed. We had coffee in their coffee shop to help us on our trip back home

01/07/2025: I loved the bartender out front. He was really personable and shared a tip for where to eat the next night when the pub was closed. It took a while to be seated and then for our food to come out, but we enjoyed a beverage while we waited. Most of us ordered the special...steak and Guinness pie. It was pretty good, came with fries. I didn't know there'd be mushrooms, so I had to pull them out. The desserts were a hit as there was Pavlov and fruit, dticky pudding, and a brownie with ice cream...yum! Too bad the pub isn't open again while we are here so we could try other menu items. It is open Thurs-Sunday only.
22/06/2025: Delicious, fresh, homely food. Desserts very nice also.
