06/09/2025: Nice place with Nice Pizzas, big selection of alcoholic drinks, could have a few more non alcoholic options

27/08/2025: The terrace is a bit shabby, but cool. When you walk in, you think everything's cool, but when you look closely, the chairs are old and battered, the armchairs are very broken and dirty, etc. But it's worth coming in and sitting down to eat and drink. Highly recommended.

12/10/2025: Such a cosy spot with very friendly service! The seafood chowder and fish n chips were both delicious…sadly they were sold out of the seafood platter after a busy Sunday - so we’ll gladly return to try it another evening!

11/10/2025: Love this place, Authentic Howth, authentic people. Travel there at least once a month for the nicest chowder ever. Got served tonight by the lovely Aobhínn. Efficient, friendly and very reasonably priced. Can't recommend enough

06/10/2025: During our visit to Sligo we asked a few locals to recommend the best place for a Sunday Roast. The universal reply was The Harp. There were a number of Sunday specials in addition to the regular menu. The food was very good. The staff welcoming and sincerely interested in the customer without being intrusive. Reservations for Sunday dining are a good idea. Highly recommended.

15/10/2025: One of the best food I’ve had in my life… tacos were unreal, my friend had the Kebab and she said it’s the best Kebab she has ever had, and she’s The Kebab connoisseur. Could not recommend more this place. Definitely come here, you’ll not be disappointed. High Camp

06/10/2025: I was a regular here for over a year and always enjoyed the atmosphere. However, a couple of months ago I had an unpleasant experience with one of the bartenders, the bearded one whose attitude toward me was unnecessarily rude and condescending. There was a misunderstanding in how I came across, which I take responsibility for, but his reaction was completely out of order, even after I apologized. I understand bar work can be stressful, but no customer, especially a regular, deserves to be spoken to that way. It genuinely ruined my night. I’ve since read other reviews that describe similar experiences with this staff member, so it seems I’m not alone. The food is excellent and the music selection is fantastic on busy nights, but none of that makes up for the way I was treated. I won’t be coming back, and I would advise others to be cautious when ordering from him if you don’t want to be spoken down to or made uncomfortable.

10/10/2025: We live in Ardee and live to eat out but found the absolute gem of Watter’s only last Sunday when we had a lunch with our children. Had duck, green curry, shredded chicken and soup and all our plates were completely empty when finished. It was all so flavoursome and good! Nice and clean food at very keep price Came in today for lunch just the two of us and chicken burger and plaice very good and tasty again Small coffee shop at the front also serves decent coffee and home made tasting lemon slice is just the perfect treat Ladies looking after us are very pleasant and efficient. Keep up the good work Thank you very much we will be definitely back

07/10/2025: The atmosphere was amazing, the bar is really cozy and the view is great! We had the beef stew, which we loved, and the fish and chips which very tasty but a bit too fatty. The restrooms look great.

25/08/2025: I visited Roscommon and Boyle centres recently enquiring about trees and shrubs... all staff were friendly and helpful! A special mention to Horticultural advisor Margaret (Birmingham Lass) who took the time and patience to answer my questions. I would recommend a visit to Ardcarne!!

11/10/2025: Lovely meal in the Kingfisher Restaurant noyesterday. Good was delicious and reasonably priced. Service was fast and friendly. Will definitely be back again 💯👌

11/10/2025: I would rather starve than ever eat here again. The fries (or chips) were pure tasteless. Some were cold, other ones warm. The union rings are tasteless (sorry my British fellas), don’t trust the good reviews - in this universe I can’t relate to them. It was so bad, I’m currently sitting here right now writing this review. My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined. Don’t go for anything here, except the bottled water.
