19/05/2026: First time staying in Talbot Midleton .. A beautiful Hotel .. Receptionists were so welcoming and pleasant, Room was amazing .. Great Evening Food with great choice ..Breakfast had everything you could ask for from fruit , porridge, cereal , Fry up , Staff were so pleasant .. Would definitely go back..5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

19/05/2026: Lovely place , leisure centre was kept well, carvery lunch was nice, had room upgrade to suite very spacious will definitely be back again, lady on reception was so nice and welcoming

11/05/2026: Unreal little authentic Italian spot. I went for the Mortedella and provolone focaccia which was really tasty and very well priced. My wife had the rocket, gorgonzola and pear salad which she said was delicious and very well dressed. All finished off with a homemade torta della nonna... Everything is made with love and care and the service is great, will definitely be a regular here.

16/05/2026: A friend and I visited from Canada, and found ourselves in this pub on a whim. We were immediately welcomed with open arms and loved the camaraderie between locals and the bar staff. We spent hours chatting, listening to music, and laughing alongside some of the best. Thank you Cork, we WILL be back!

05/05/2026: I stopped in for a quick half of a pint of Guinness after dinner across the street. Great service and amazing Guinness. Sláinte!

22/05/2026: We had our Day Two in the The Blackbird in April, and from day one Mossie couldn’t have been more helpful. He assisted us in finding a musician and even provided a contact number for transport from the hotel for our guests. The setup was excellent, with plenty of space for everyone. Claire, who was performing, was fantastic, and the food from Trawler Boyz was amazing, everyone loved it. The staff on the night were also so helpful and friendly, which made the whole experience even better. I would highly recommend the pub to anyone planning a celebration. Thanks again!

19/05/2026: Great place for a pint and food

14/05/2026: came to celebrate my wedding anniversary, and what was meant to be a memorable night ended up being incredibly disappointing to say the least. the food was average at best, and the service… the service was nothing short of terrible. we spent most of the evening waiting for someone to attend us and when the server finally took notice in us they were ridiculously rude and standoffish. never coming back.

02/05/2026: Lovely evening here recently. A small but imaginative menu- tried pretty much all of the hot dishes and they were all excellent, particularly the hake and the purple sprouted broccoli. Fabulous selection of wines and friendly, knowledgeable staff who are happy to help. I'll definitely be back.

05/05/2026: Great location and service. Very accommodating to a toddler and her parents. The bread pudding is out of this world. The owner was on site and saw to it that everything was running smoothly.

21/05/2026: I visited Oriole and really enjoyed the experience. Great atmosphere, creative cocktails, and smooth live music that made the place feel special. The service was friendly and the vibe is perfect for a relaxed evening out.

17/05/2026: We had a great night. Started with cocktails upstairs and then dinner downstairs. The food was great and good value for money. We were there on a Saturday night and the band was excellent and the atmosphere was bumping. We were downstairs from 8:00-11.30 and caught the tail end of set one and all of set 2 & 3. We will be back.

19/05/2026: We go to Cooke's quiet regularly, we recently celebrated our daughter's communion dinner here. We had the set menu in the Fox and Hare, the food was gorgeous, the staff could not have been any more helpful. We had the room to ourselves so the kids could enjoy themselves without disturbing other people.

17/05/2026: ​We visited Cookes of Caragh yesterday for a large family celebration. It was absolutely lovely from start to finish. ​From the moment we arrived, we were incredibly well looked after. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was wonderful, and the hospitality was second to none. ​Thank you to the whole team for making our family celebration so memorable. We highly Cookes of Carragh.

11/05/2026: We went here for lunch with a group of friends and I had the chance to try the "Chicken Pie" for the first time 🥧🍗 I have no other comparison but I have to say that the flavor was excellent and the dish was well presented. Affordable prices and a wide selection of beers as always in Ireland 🇮🇪☘️🍺 The guy who served us was kind, answered all our questions and made us feel at ease. The place and the neighborhood are very nice and clean, if you are staying in the Sandymount area and surrounding areas I recommend it, it's right next to the beautiful St. Matthews Church ⛪

10/05/2026: Had such a lovely experience at The Merry Cobbler! After a beautiful walk with our dog, we were so happy to find somewhere genuinely dog friendly and welcoming. The staff couldn’t have been more accommodating, making sure both we and our pup felt comfortable from the moment we arrived. The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was warm and relaxed, and it made the whole outing even more special. It’s rare to find a place that combines great food with such thoughtful hospitality. We’ll definitely be back!

01/05/2026: We visited Old Granary in Wexford last Sunday with our friends, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. The food was incredible — full of flavour and beautifully presented. The cocktails were just as impressive, easily some of the best we’ve had in a long time. The staff truly made the night, though. They couldn’t have been more helpful — so friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout the evening. It was a brilliant night all around, and we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend! The special new cocktail they let us try was absolutely delicious — such a treat! 🍋‍🟩🥧

02/05/2026: Went in when it wasn’t very busy. Menu was poor and not as good as I expected. I got a roast and so did my partner. Our kids got pizza, goujons and my teen got a curry. The turkey and hams, goujons and curry came out in decent timing but we were waiting an additional 7/8 mins for my youngest child’s pizza. Some of our food was cold when it came out.
