06/05/2025: Amazing donuts, great location, and super friendly staff. It's a sugar rush, but if that's what you're looking for, you won't find better nearby! Their selection is consistently superb as well. We've never missed out on a donut we wanted.

23/04/2025: Place itself is fine, but me and my friend went inside to check the vibe, my friend used the bathroom and we decided to leave and find a place more our vibe, owner ran after us, rudely told us how disrespectful we are for not saying hello to him and how we didn't ask for permission to use the bathroom (???). Very disgusted by the owner, will never return and I strongly discourage anyone who's normal and wants a good experience. Once again, nice place but the owner is a giant a hole

08/05/2025: The food was excellent and we really enjoyed the atmosphere. We would recommend the burrata dish was our favorite as well as the pork belly. For dessert we chose the pistachio dish and it was very good.

26/04/2025: We enjoy visiting LovingSalads . Their salads are incredible. They are made fresh and with love. I am fond of their bean and seaweed salads. They have a wide range of salads to choose from on a daily basis. We have seen them in Wilton Farmer's market. We usually visit them in person in the city. Their diversity of salads is wonderful. The staff are friendly and helpful. The shop is wheelchair accessible. There is wheelchair accessible parking Nearby

16/05/2025: Denied a pint at this revered establishment as soon as we entered and found a table due to dress code of one of my friends. Staff were standoffish which was a shame as we were looking forward to experiencing the pub. None of us were wearing hoodies or tracksuits etc but likely a strain of Classism involved.

22/04/2025: Having driven from Newbridge last Saturday to arrive at 3 , after trying to find a place to park to get to this restaurant at 3.15. Very disappointed to be told they were closing . Even though closing hours not until 4 o’clock. There was a gentleman inside who had just been served yet we were told they were finished serving. We were just wanting to a Tea and Coffee and Cake. I have mobility issues and it took us longer to get there from parking car than normal. Very frustrating. …,,A little compassion would go a long way here.

10/05/2025: Unfortunately a very doughy pizza in the centre. Really poor, ingredients incredible, but when undercooked and so stodgy it's poor. Take a few minutes to bake better for a 15 euro pizza

09/04/2025: Disappointing Meal Despite a Nice Setting I really wanted to like this place—the atmosphere was cozy and the service was genuinely great. The staff were attentive and friendly, which makes this review all the more frustrating to write. Unfortunately, the food just didn’t deliver. The vegetables were clearly reheated frozen fare—mushy, bland, and utterly uninspired. The mushrooms, in particular, were limp and lifeless. As for the rice, it was scalding hot, almost dangerously so, as if it had just been nuked in a microwave. To top it off, the sea bass was soggy and lacked any kind of crisp or texture you'd expect from a well-cooked fillet. It’s a shame because the team front of house seems to care, but the kitchen is letting them down in a big way. With some serious attention to the quality of ingredients and preparation, this place could be great. Until then, I won’t be rushing back. Rating of 1 star for food wouldn't advise

12/05/2025: I liked it better before. First of all, thanks to the hostess. Very hospitable, cheerful, friendly. The rest change frequently. The result is not very good. It's a pity. But the choice of teas is large, although not cheap. There are cakes and sweets. Nice ambience inside and you can sit outside as well as in the hidden cozy courtyard. In good weather we are very happy, interesting and pleasant to relax. Lately, we’ve been taking teas with us more often to brew at home. We'll add photos later, they are in another phone, and this is a completely different place (just kidding). The cafe is really tiny, but cozy

11/05/2025: We had a wonderful breakfast at The Olive Tree. Our server Eli was incredibly nice, preparared and patient in accommodating everyone's different requests. He also checked on us throughout the meal. The food was delicious and the location is nice, bright and quiet. I can only recommend it and I will definitely go back next time I'm in Carrick on Shannon. Thank you Eli!

05/05/2025: Ordered fish and chips and 2 cokes. It came to in and around 45 euro. We had to wait on this being cooked , we expected as there was a wait it would be home cooked food. Instead of homemade we were presented with what i assumed was birds eye processed fish, and processed French fries. I would recommend going for a beverage and bring your own food otherwise you're paying through the nose for poor quality.

12/05/2025: At this stage I should have shares in the place. Great for all gardening advice. Beautifully laid out. I especially love the cafe. Homemade breads and cakes and coffee for the afficionados ! Fantastic courtyard to smoke in and commune with our feathered friends who will join you for a tiny crumb from your table. You'll find some quirky presents for your loved ones too. You'll feel so healthy having supped your coffee and eaten your cake followed by a constitutional walk around the gardens.
