07/07/2025: We stopped here after an excellent dinner at Wilde (restaurant also in The Westbury) and it was a perfect way to end our night.
Amazing craft cocktails and lovely atmosphere. Even the complimentary bar snacks were delicious!
04/07/2025: So came in to have a drink in a reputable bar. Was kinda quiet. Nice atmosphere and music. Waited 15 min for one drink that cost 21 euro and to be polite it was below average. Quite unbalanced and definitely too salty. Cheers

Spruce Goose is what happens when great coffee, tasty food, and runway views form the perfect flight plan. Popped in for breakfast and was met with friendly, fast service and a menu that actually delivers. The coffee hits the spot, the food’s legit, and if you're an aviation geek, the proximity to the airport runway is borderline thrilling.
There’s something oddly calming about sipping a flat white while a 737 roars past. 8/10 would refuel here again.

16/07/2025: Having read excellent reviews this was my most disappointing coffee stop of a month in Ireland.
Very limited selection of cakes - in fact there were no cakes at all, there were a couple of cheesecakes and one cookie.
The coffee was ok but not stunning.
And it was overpriced, over 20 euros for 2 coffees, a cheesecake and a cookie.
01/05/2025: Beautiful iced cappuccino with chocolate tart. Delicious.

24/06/2025: Food is always lovely with big portions, if it’s breakfast lunch or dinner you get a fulfilling meal, right beside the ocean also if you get a takeaway you have lovely views
10/06/2025: Nice vegetarian lunch; I had a baked potato with salad and coleslaw on the side, husband had a cheese toastie and chips. A trip to Peppers isn’t complete without ice cream (Kinder Bueno for me and Biscoff for him). Good food and service.

30/06/2025: DZ coffee has the best french tacos I’ve ever tried, especially the chicken shawarma I really recommend and pomegranate drinks too are so good 10/10 and the staff are really friendly too.
05/06/2025: Stopped in for desert after a meal in Bastible. Honestly, we should’ve just ate here instead. Service was quality, food was exceptional, and the atmosphere was electric. The tiramisu was to die for, and we’ll have to come back for their special chicken biryani soon! Best place to eat in Portobello, hands down!!

23/04/2025: Stopped in here for a few drinks with family whilst in the area. The barmaid was very friendly and attentive. The pub has a great outdoor area with plenty of seating and another bar at the back of the area.
Definitely worth a visit if with a group of friends.
