01/02/2026: Spruce Goose has always been my favorite place in Wellington. Knowing it will close on the 8th of February fills me with a deep sadness. It carries so many beautiful memories with friends and family. I will truly miss sitting there, sharing moments, and drinking coffee. Big thanks to the staff I will Miss you all

01/02/2026: Was a bit disappointed. Heard it was closing so we thought we'd go have another wonderful meal there. We got there for 5pm, and was told that the majority of the food on the menu wasn't available. So we decided to go somewhere else instead. 😢

14/08/2026: Love, love this place. My favourite place to eat in Baltimore. Pizza, fish of the day and chocolate cake are my favourite dishes!

22/07/2026: Absolutely fantastic restaurant. Both the food and drinks were superb. Perfect service and a truly beautiful view. A fantastic experience all around. They even drew a four-leaf clover in the foam of my Guinness, and the chocolate cake was out of this world.

19/08/2026: Service was excellent and food came out great. A nice, quiet building with a friendly staff. We ordered two of the 14” pizza meals and received two solid pizzas with chips to share. A great benefit is that they’re open late, (wonderful news to any late night travelers looking for a warm meal).

11/08/2026: Very good find. Top quality for price. Talk about value for money. The fish and chips were superb - such crisp light batter and delicious home-cut chips. Outstanding.

10/06/2026: Applegreen Paulstown is an extraordinary Facility.It has absolutely EVERYTHING ..the best coffee and crossies...the best hot food Deli and a delightful array of goodies to pick from the M+ S shop!! But what really makes Applegreen Paulstown stand out is the AMAZING Staff headed up by Phil and her Team.They are friendly welcoming and always there with a smile and a Good Morning.I always leave in good humour and well fed! Thir attention to detail....high standards and professionalism is something to behold. It is exemplary and is a model of excelllent practice nationally! Well done to Phil and Enda on a Superb Management model that works and delivers!!. You can feel the culture of collaboration and teamwork the minute you walk in the door!! It is this exemplary leadership that makes Applegreen Paulstown the best service provider that I have ever experienced. Congrats to all the staff and long may it continue. 01/08/2026: I went to Yard Café to get something to eat. After placing my order, I sat inside and watched one of the staff members preparing my food. I noticed she was touching the fridge, delivery boxes, door handles, and other surfaces while wearing the same gloves she was using to prepare the food. After seeing this, I immediately cancelled my order because I was concerned about the risk of cross-contamination. In my opinion, this is a serious food safety issue that should be addressed. Unfortunately, I won't be returning.

04/08/2026: Jack was our saviour and let us camp out back for the night. Great atmosphere, great hospitality. Everyone made sure we had everything we needed to keep us going on our journey cycling from Dublin to Spain.

20/07/2026: Had to send my fish and chips back to the kitchen as soon as it arrived because the portion of fish was so small. The staff was pleasant and when she brought a new piece out, it was still small but she said it was an 8 ounce. This place seems to think fish is served in weights similar to steaks, utterly unbelievable.

20/08/2026: I was supposed to met my friends here for brunch but believe me or not I went to the south one hahaha crazy story. The place is really beautiful, it's large, open, with plants and nice lights, as for the food it was delicious as well AND fast to be served, that's a great plus, sometimes brunch places are too slow. The waitress were nice, even though we stayed for long time, they didn't look annoyed of anything, was great!

18/08/2026: Hi, Now I visited your Capel Street branch this morning, August 18th, 2026, at around 9:00 AM. I came in feeling really happy and positive, but unfortunately, the attitude of one of your staff members completely ruined my morning. From the moment I walked in, their tone, looks, and way of speaking to me felt very rude and unwelcoming. They even practically threw my coffee at me. I don’t know if I was treated this way because I’m a foreigner or because I was dressed casually, but I sincerely hope that wasn’t the reason. It was my first time visiting, and I genuinely thought this was a lovely place. I’m very disappointed by this experience and would really appreciate it if you could pay more attention to how your staff treat and communicate with customers. Thank you.

02/08/2026: Took my family out for a spot of lunch , was not impressed, over priced and food was ok Got a starter portion of wings and a side salad with coffee, the wife has toasted special with coffee, the kids had fruit and pasta and fruit and fish and chips, the fruit was tasteless, kind of like kept in water, and the pasta was watery that wasn't strained , they also has apple juice, all came to 80eu. Not a nice experience.

20/07/2026: For food - avoid. Ordered the ‘sasta bowl’ which was supposed to be roasted vegetables, hummus, toasted nuts and seeds. I paid €4.50 extra to add chicken. What I got was a bag of salad leaves, barely cooked courgette, pickled beetroot which was not mentioned on the menu, what you could only describe as a teaspoon of chicken on top and a tonne of hummus. Mentioned it the lovely staff who then brought down a bowl of some peppers, nuts and … more beetroot. Paid €16 for this, it was awful. Shame as it is on the river and a lovely setting.

Remarkably rude Should really invest in a way to place an order online without needing to go on the phone Cash only is also a pain and has led me to choose elsewhere many times Food is decent enough that customers will be willing to pay a little more for a better service

21/08/2026: Delicious food, very friendly service, and a pleasant atmosphere make this restaurant a great choice for dinner with friends. The journey there isn't excessive.
