14/10/2024: We regularly have Sunday dinner here and it is always a good meal. Carvery style with a really good selection, Staff are always friendly and helpful, Its always comfortable and clean and very inviting,

12/10/2024: Had lunch here today it was v bland for the price.

24/08/2024: The Restaurant has been closed for some time. Local artist Marcella Reardon has “re-purposed” the space as a “pop up gallery” open from 12-4 min Fri and 11-5 Sat until Monday 2nd Sept 2024 and she’s hosting an exhibition called “Dream Attic” in the old Café. Free and all welcome!

19/07/2024: We stopped here at the end of our tour of Bru na Boinne. We had seen a sign for their 'award-winning raspberry scones' and had to try them. They were incredible with fresh jam & butter. Our family also got the roast vegetable soup which they said was the best soup they ate in our entire time in Ireland! They had a variety of sandwiches, baked goods, teas & coffee. A perfect way to end the tour!

24/06/2024: Waiting for our tour time we stopped in. Desserts all looked so delicious we had a hard time deciding. Opted for a scone and cappuccino. All tasty! Wanted a slice of the chocolate cake but didn't want go home with extra pounds. Very friendly staff!

03/11/2024: Great chipper with awesome Za. V generous garlic dip size. Good option for cheat meal day. Plus anything with Mayo in it's moniker needs your full attention says I. Up Mayo and Ro Mayos!!!!!

29/10/2024: Staff are top quality at what they do. Always smiling and chatty. Food is always top drawer stuff no matter what you get.

27/09/2024: Dreadful experience One other customer at counter Approached counter 4 Staff were behind Picked a chicken rap and asked person at end for a tea said order it back there We only make it Girl said Other lady before you who said go ahead I have not chosen sandwich Asked for a tea Girl staff mumbled something about not taking orders so asked the young guy again who took order got tea and money for rap Then asked my name I asked why and he said I had to wait for tea Nobody else was there 10 euro for cold wrap and tea I am 75 years of age and felt they did not the bother of serving me Will never go back I spend 2 months a year in New York and never was treated like this in Starbucks

21/09/2024: Absolutely wood give them -1 if I could absolutely horrible coffee order 2 regular lattee Gave me 2 latte absolutely freezing and no taste wood 1000% avoid this place if you can

27/10/2024: Burger too oily, couldn't eat it. Didn't have bacon option for potatoes. Main beer not available. At least got a refund for the food...

06/10/2024: We ordered food from here and they got the order wrong. They said the next time we ordered we could have the meal we were supposed to get. We rang to avail of what was offered by them and they said there is nothing on their system. The lady on the phone was very dismissive and rude and said she didn't care. Would never order from here again. AVOID!

28/09/2024: Used to be the best chinese takeaway in swords now, €50 takeaways doesnt get you prawn crackers with your meal.

26/09/2024: Lovely this place! In special the employe man From Turkey. He's nice man, very polite, kind and excellent professional. Always when I have 2 hours of break, I will go for relaxing.

05/11/2024: Not the cleanest place overall and the toilet was disgusting. Coffee was average too. There is also no point in staff asking if you want for here or take away because they still gonna pour in the disposable cup in either way. Have to ask specifically for the mug. Not acceptable. Wouldn't go back.

07/10/2024: I recently returned from a lovely 3 night break( Sunday to Wednesday) in Queens Hotel in Ennis. I am a single elderly traveller n stayed on a room only basis, as I was visiting family n was very pleased with what I paid for my accommodation. My room( 112) was spacious with a Kingsize Bed and ample storage space. It also had coffee n tea making facilities. My bathroom was perfect with a top class walk in shower unit, and all the units were spotless and looked spanking new. The room was serviced regularly by very pleasant household staff. I had lunch in the dining room and it was lovely and served again by very friendly and attentive staff. I also had delicious homemade buttermilk pancakes served with winter berries n cream n a large pot of coffee for late breakfast and would highly recommend. There is a coffee shop with delicious cakes on the ground floor of the Hotel where I purchased some cakes to bring back to Dublin with me. I am a regular visitor to Ennis, and the hotel is centrally based in the town, which also has a decent cinema. I will definitely be staying in Queens on my next visit and will recommend highly to others. Keep up the good work!!🙋‍♀️ Anne R……Dublin 13.

27/09/2024: Probably the worst value bakery I have encountered in Ireland. Rubbish food for prices you would expect at a decent establishment.

10/11/2024: The worst coffee we've ever had. We ordered two coffees: Cappuccino and Latte.Both coffees were burnt bitter boiling water. The coffee was so hot that I couldn't carry it to the table.Also, there was no cinnamon. It is not intended as an additive in coffee. It is not clear why coffee is boiled like this. One thing is clear, this is not a place for drinking coffee.
