07/05/2025: What can I tell you about this place that the walls won't tell. This restaurant is an epitome of the struggles, highs and lows of a family business who have paved their way to make it. I had chips, battered sausage and a home made chicken fillet burger. Sensible choices i should say. While my friends made their own options (not entirely wise :D). I found the prices really competitive and economical and a better burger than Ballybia. The service was exceptional and is cut from a different cloth that you don't find in our generation. Sure it isn't a high dine and it might take a while on a mental weekend but that was never the expectation either. The stories that we got to hear and your warmth truly left us a lasting impression. One thing I say is money can't buy history, culture or tradition and this place checks all three. Thank you for feeding us and your tips on getting a stain removed from a white top. 28/06/2026: We had a wonderful afternoon snack at The Blue Room in Kinsale and couldn't have been more impressed. The food was outstanding, I'd highly recommend the hummus with chips and the scallops, both of which were absolutely delicious. What truly elevated the experience was our waiter, a young gentleman with a fantastic sense of humor who made us feel so welcome. His friendly personality and excellent service made our visit even more enjoyable. To top it all off, the view from the back deck overlooking the harbor is simply beautiful. Great food, exceptional service, and a stunning setting. We'll definitely be back and highly recommend The Blue Room to anyone visiting Kinsale.

06/06/2026: Coctails cpuld be better and prices in the menu for coctails do not match reality with explenation "oh we did not upadate it". Not recommended

08/11/2025: The food tasted amazing, the meat had a great texture and didn’t taste dry or anything. The service is also great, lots of friendly staff and the kitchen works fast. I recommend this place if you’re looking for a place to eat or for just a drink in Glengariff.

05/09/2025: Recently reopened. Food was very tasty. Service was excellent…the waiter gave us a ride home when we couldn’t get a taxi/uber.

05/08/2026: Went here for an early dinner. The chicken wings were amazing. Be warned, the black pudding salad it's delicious but expect a main course sized portion. We pleasantly surprised. The kids goujons were quickly devoured. The chicken Kiev and the steak were cooked to perfection and the accompanying coleslaw absolutely magnificent. I would highly recommend to stop here for food.
