Dromoland Castle
06/01/2026: Wife and I visited Ireland for her 40th birthday. One of our stays was at Dromoland Castle. Super nice place, great staff, beautiful scenery. I went out and played 9 holes on the golf course, which was a treat in itself. Highly recommend!!!
31/12/2025: EXCEPTIONAL WEDDING VENUE! Dromoland served as our romantic dream destination wedding venue. They provided exceptional service that surpassed what we could’ve received in the States. All of their recommended vendors were amazing making planning a breeze from across the pond. Our friends and family still note this as one of the best weddings they’ve been to and everyone would love to visit again soon. Absolutely the best! ❤️ Thank you so much!

29/10/2025: Charming restaurant with delicious food. I was there at the end of July with my mother staying within walking distance of the restaurant, and it was one of the best meals we had during our 5 day trip in Ireland.
27/10/2025: Service was great . Fish (was light like a cotton) & chips was very tasty. Soup of the day super. Atmosphere was very cosy

Their steak? Surreal!
And their staff always take such great care of us.
We've been there 3 times and we'll keep coming back!
24/10/2025: The store owner is very friendly. He cooked the chicken I bought from the supermarket in the oven for me. You can come and eat if you pass by here.

There is no elevator to access the rooms on the second floor so if you have mobility issues or can't carry your luggage up the stairs, you should request a ground floor room when booking. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is ideal, walking distance to Bunratty Castle and a couple of restaurants, though the restaurant on-site serves delicious food.

04/12/2025: Went here for food and drinks on a trip shortly after getting married this summer. The food and service were incredible. We loved every moment of it. When we told them we'd just gotten married, they gave us a free drink. So generous. Will be back every time in the area.
30/11/2025: Great experience, we were 3 people and all tried Irish Stew and it was really delicious and big portions. Everything was great, including the staff.

15/01/2026: Visiting Doolin in the very quiet month of January, McGanns was one of the few places open serving food. We went for lunch after a brisk cliff walk and loved the seafood chowder and vegetable soup. The Guiness and Irish coffee was great too. Service was friendly welcoming and efficient, and the fire burning was warm and cosy.

27/11/2025: This is a big cold, but they have the best sausage roll in all of Ireland. No greasy, or cheap sausage meat…full of rich flavour and delicious flaky pastry.
The Portuguese Pastel de Nata, straight out of the oven was better than any I have had in Portugal…well at least as good as!
Great coffee as well! Friendly people!

07/01/2026: Ordered the steak with a couple of beers to wash it down. Steak arrived fairly quick and cooked to perfection. Sides and sauce were delicious and well presented. More than enough food on the plate and the live music will a reasonably full pub made for a very good atmosphere. Great night

25/11/2025: We celebrated our engagement at the Monks Well recently and the service received from Geraldine was 10/10, the place looks phenomenal. Everyone kept saying how lovely the place is and there was so much food to go around! Adrian and Diane have done a fabulous job of the place!

03/11/2025: We visited as a group of 7 whilst visiting Co Clare on a short break.
Our experience was mostly very good, the chowder was excellent, the vol-au-vents, pasta dish and fish were very good, however the burgers were dry and chewy, edible non the less but the only downside.
