15/07/2024: Hard to call this a “sports bar” when they aren’t playing the euros final, and refused to when I asked due to “poor internet”, despite the fact that youtube was playing perfectly fine on the tv. Woman behind the bar uninterested and probably lied so they could go home.

04/03/2025: Very small portions for high prices. Shrinkflation siuation here. Not happy. They use small plates to lesson quantity. Unfair.
22/01/2025: Had lunch here today. Average lunch price is €17. The fish pie was basically a tiny piece of cod in a dish covered with breadcrumbs and was tasteless. My companion had the beef. The veg and potatoes are put on the plate very sparingly, portions very small. Lunch here is not worth the money.

08/03/2025: Went with family for dinner last night. The food was excellent from starters to deserts the portions were very generous. The atmosphere was great in the lovely open space. From booking to leaving the staff were wonderful with all 11 of us agreeing it would be hard to beat. Thanks for a fantastic evening.
08/02/2025: This is our go to as locals. The food is always top quality and the portion sizes are such great value for money.
Have been at least 3 times within the last couple of months and collectively had a handful of things from the menu and cannot fault any of it.
We also appreciate the fact that you can get any of the mains as half portions, because then my daughter can get anything she wants from the main/specials menu without being limited to the usual "kids meals".
The only small thing would be that there are no roast potatoes on the roasts, but that doesn't stop us from coming back.
We enjoy the relaxed atmosphere too. Overall very happy customers and will continue going back.
