Ordered a large portion of chips, but the portion was very small. Definitely not worth the money.
19/12/2025: Worst chipper iv had by far in a very long time over priced .everything is from frozen . Think cheese burgers were 5.50 6 euro . First and last time I'll be going their . Trust me cross the road and go to Frank's half the price way nicer 🇮🇪

17/01/2026: How can you go wrong with a bag of chips? Very easily as I found out tonight.
They wern't hot, felt semi-cooked/pre-cooked, infact just bloody awful & after an hour of eating them I was really sick.
Do yourself a favour & avoid this place at all costs. 🤮

24/04/2025: I ordered two Szechuan chicken tonight.When I took it home it tasted absolutely nothing like Szechuan chicken.Just pre cooked chicken in a type of sauce with veg and no flavour of any kind.I have just moved to Midleton and love Chinese food but I won’t be back.

15/09/2026: We visited this pub last month after a week-long trip through Dublin, Belfast, and Cork. It was undoubtedly the place where we found the most warmth and friendliness. The regulars were as comfortable as we were, and the owners made us feel right at home. Highly recommended if you want to experience an authentic Irish pub with no other ambition than to provide excellent service to its valued clientele.
24/07/2026: Didn't have food but really appreciated the friendless of the charming lady serving in the bar. Love to recommend to friends visiting Bandon or the West Cork area

The seafood especially the homemade scampi is delicious as is just having a drink with a soup and sandwich food to suit all budgets

20/07/2026: We stumbled upon this place by chance, looking for somewhere to watch the World Cup final between Spain and Argentina, having just arrived in Cobh. The bartender was incredibly kind and friendly. The staff were lovely, and we celebrated Spain's victory with them. The beer was excellent.
