Glengarriff Caravan & Camping Park
27/08/2025: The campsite is well-kept and clean. Our expectations were higher based on the reviews and photos. Given the reviews, we thought there would be a restaurant, but there wasn't (August). The campsite is quiet and peaceful. There are no children's games or children's areas (at least not in the area reserved for camper/tent camping). Showers are included in the cost of the pitch. The owner was extremely kind. We had a great time. It was perfect for one night.
27/08/2025: This is a well run and fantastic location for all your caming needs. The on stie bar has food all evening with live entertainment and friendly staff. The facilities are top class with everything you need. Well done to all involved and I hope to return to the hills of Glengarriff soon. Many thanks Darren Roberts

19/06/2026: For the price the food is very underwhelming. The chef is pretty rude too. You may call it the best Italian in Carrigaline simply because it's the only Italian in Carrigaline. There's certainly much nicer options available elsewhere in Cork like Bella Napoli, Palmento, Da Mirco etc.

24/03/2026: The worst Chinese I’ve ever had in my life. Lack of flavour, chicken was rubbery, sauces tasted burned and almost like plastic, very oily. I felt terrible after, nothing was fresh. My whole family didn’t enjoy it.

18/05/2026: Tasty Chinese food. Fried rice, Satay chicken, Orange chicken, Singapore fried rice and Amber fire beef are all very good. Try something new on the menu because the less ordered stuff is really good. Take out only (ok cos it’s a bit dark & aging) and cash only.

SHERKIN and Cape Clear ferries come and go and of course all the sailing and RIB boat activities.
17/06/2026: Food is mediocre, service is slow. It’s a nice place to sit and relax on a fine day. However, they allow people to vape indoors. Vaping is a poisonous habit which should be banned in public.
