25/10/2024: Great family meal out this evening. We visited today as a family of 6, and not one of us was disappointed.
The restaurant is beautiful, and really makes you feel like you’re dining somewhere authentic.
The food is also great, and the open plan kitchen gives an insight into a (very busy) Italian chef at work. The food is really good - massive portions.
Didn’t realise that the pasta mains came with Garlic bread, so we ordered a little too much and took some home with us. We all left full, and satisfied. I don’t understand some of the other reviews, it’s probably one of the best Italians we’ve had in a very long time!

01/11/2024: The good things first: the service was good, the waitress who handled our table was friendly, the portions were big. The prices were excellent. The not so good things: the food tasted less than authentic Italian. The pizza base was doughy, the pizza was over salted, the tomato base was all wrong. I'd go back again because the prices were good but I wish it delivered on a better pizza as the place has potential.

Busy with both sit-in and take-away business on a cold Friday in October: the Mixed Kebab with a giant bottle of Cobra Beer hits the spot! The best kebab in Cork! The Chicken Karahi is spicy and flavorsome. This is a restaurant to be recommended.
Medium pricing.
22/09/2024: Despite some poor reviews we decided to give this restaurant a try. We were pleasantly surprised, the food was delicious. The service was very good despite it being a busy Saturday night. The prices were very reasonable. No complaints, we would definitely recommend this restaurant to anybody.

15/10/2024: Ohh messy buns is my favourite spot in Midleton to meet a good friend for a coffee,to sit down with the book or grab a treat when I expect guests, the buns always do the job!! Have certain friends that would come all the way from mallow for red velvet, or great friends in Spain that are positively addicted to the cookies! My son likes in the milkshakes there and it's just one of those...not many places that it's easy to keep everyone happy!!!
Love the fact that they are constantly expanding! Fantastic addition to the marina and now in Douglas as well

10/08/2024: I have never been so disappointed in a purchase before today! The name is choices cafe???? Really ? When I didn't get any choice! I order chicken Goujons and chips. ( chips don't bounce Paula) they were rubber, the only thing they would serve for is if I got a flat tyre that's about it.... as for the so-called goujons well it came with two little piececs of chicken.( I've actually picked bigger bogeys from my nose) for €6.00 I feel like one or my arms has been stolen and the kids are still starving.

10/11/2024: Italiano Pizza had no parmesan on it for some reason and tiny bit of oregano. So basically paying full price and get a pizza with some toppings missing/lacking.
18/10/2024: The Manager of the establishment rang me up to abuse me down the phone about a review. I had 5 missed calls from him in the space of half an hour. Hilarious stuff. I didn't do a review a month ago. I did one today and you rang me half an hour later. Pizzas are undercooked and doughy. Toppings were minimal.

23/09/2024: Moby dicks is a charming bar nestled in the gorgeous Barry lane area of Youghal, Co. Cork. Named after the infamous movie of the same name, the interior has not changed much since the movies filming. Movie memorabilia as well as behind the scenes photographs adorn the walls of this pub, and no matter where you sit you have a Birds Eye view of Market Dock where most of the pivotal scenes were filmed. Service is friendly and quick, food consists of toasties (toasted sandwiches) and snacks, and the clientele is predominantly locals, but if you want a sense of Youghal and its people, it is absolutely worth popping in for a thirst quencher.
