13/08/2025: This place used to have great character with freedom to explore the garden and walk past aviaries with owls and different types of pheasant, a huge apple tree out the front, and a lot of locally produced art etc for sale. I'm sure there may be very good reasons, or reasons outside anyone's control for a lot of this, but it's definitely lost some of its quirkiness.

Food was weeks old, dirty cups but don’t dare complain because you will regret it
17/07/2025: What an amazing cafe. Filled with artefacts from grandma's place. The coffee was superb. The atmosphere awesome. The scones...best I've ever had. Great conversation with Peter who does all the baking himself.

08/08/2025: We had 2 breakfasts and 2 Dinners at this place. The food was great, especially the custom breakfast options. I also loved the coffee from their in-house espresso machine
19/07/2025: Had a great evening meal there with my mother who had been given a voucher. All three courses were generous servings of perfectly cooked quality ingredients. The staff were super helpful and friendly too.

05/08/2025: terrible!!! The money was withdrawn from my card 5 days before arrival, but it should have been upon arrival!!! They did not treat us politely when we pointed out the shortcomings and complaints!!! This room is definitely not worth 221 euros!!! I travel for more than one day and have been to different hotels! I think that the attitude towards us was brutal!

27/08/2025: We’ve been there twice during our trip and the food was great. However I found some of the portion sizes a bit on the smaller side for example there was only a small portion of chips with the burger. I thought for 18,50€ there could’ve been a bit more chips with that. Otherwise it was great.
12/08/2025: Decent Irish food, nice atmosphere, perfect for a good evening. Not disappointed 👍and what's more, they speak French 😉

24/08/2025: Lovely Chinese take away - nothing fancy but good food and lovely owners and staff. Chicken and Mushroom and fried rice my favorite. Spice bags not greasy but crispy. New Wrappos are really good.

06/09/2025: The food was tasty, however I ordered and definitely paid for two cans of coke with my order and when I got home the girl never put my drinks in the bag when she handed it to me. I wouldn’t mind if it was down the road from me but I live in Douglas and realised when I got home and it was too late to drive down again and they would be closed by the time I’d get there and my food would be cold.
23/08/2025: Ordered fish and chips, waited 20min for it and they forgot the fish. Joke of a place
