19/08/2026: Just stopped for drinks. The bar staff were fantastic all under I say 25 years old. Just really friendly, bright and attentive. Very impressed with their demeanor. Lovely bunch. Thanks.

29/07/2026: We stayed for one night as part of our Ireland road trip, and we're glad that it was only one night. The staff were friendly and the evening meal and breakfast were lovely, but... 1. The temperatures in the entire hotel were unbearable. Whilst we appreciate that Ireland are experiencing hotter temperatures than normal, it was stiffling everywhere. Our room was awful and impacted our sleep. I asked for an electric fan within minutes of first entering the room, but one was never brought to us. They did, however, come and unlock the window to enable it to be opened wider. This helped, but not a lot. 2. Our room overlooked the rear of the hotel and it was extremely noisy. We could even hear staff loading crockery and people in the swimming pool. 3. The beds and pillows are uncomfortable with just a cotton sheet laid over the mattress, so it moved ever time I moved! 4. We genuinely were disappointed with the whole stay as we expected something a little more luxurious for the price and what we saw on their website. We've stayed in nicer B&B places during our stay. Sadly, we wouldn't return or recommend to friends.

09/10/2026: Ordered takeaway from this place on a random weekday. We spent about €30 for 2 mains, 1 starter and a tub of sauce. Pretty good value for what we got. The food wasn’t that bad either and the service was good too. Would order again from this place!!

24/07/2026: The one and only pub in Fermoy where you will always find zero bullshit, big smiles and all the locals having a good time. Highly recommended.

09/09/2026: Offered a vodka by a woman, and barred for no reason by a barmaid. didnt get vodka either dont know reason why when in the old days with free drives home.

26/07/2026: This gem was a wonderful surprise, a soft drink and a sandwich on a hot day. Great service. A very traditional Irish meeting spot, even for tea totaliers.

19/06/2026: Great bar/restaurant. The location, looking out over Baltimore harbour is superb...even if you just want to drop in, read a newspaper from the shop next door and watch life going on outside in the harbour as s SHERKIN and Cape Clear ferries come and go and of course all the sailing and RIB boat activities.

17/06/2026: Food is mediocre, service is slow. It’s a nice place to sit and relax on a fine day. However, they allow people to vape indoors. Vaping is a poisonous habit which should be banned in public.

17/09/2026: The lamb is ok, but the sauce is terrible. The potato slices were way over cooked.

28/06/2026: I ordered a "make your own pizza" with bacon, chicken, onions, sweetcorn and asked for BBQ sauce base that I didn't get. I felt fine for 6 hours or so and vomited just under half my stomach that night outside my cousin's window because of me not being prepared to vomit. I was feeling sick for an hour or so but not to the point of vomiting. Would not recommend ordering meat from here.

20/08/2026: Not getting the take away often and this is still the favourite place to go in Midleton BUT every next visit it’s getting worst. The food is great! Just the service level is getting careless. Ordered 2 meals no onions and you wouldn’t believe the amount of onion in the food and fresh sprinkle on top of it as well. If it was a joke then well done! I should check it there but that’s what happens when you trust and expect your order to be right. The other thing was that we were told 5 mins. After almost half an hour we were showed 2 fingers. Not sure if that was for 2 minutes or sign for peace but it was another 10minutes. We wouldn’t mind if we were told upfront that they were busy. The fact that you pay when you order really doesn’t give you the freedom to walk away after 30mins wait. Anyway grateful for this little gem only have to be checking the order right there and probably wait another half an hour and upset the workers.. not worth the trouble so that’s why take away is just rare occasion for us even though we love lamb kebab. P. S.: we tried the kebab pizza no onions for very first time and never again. Wondering how pizza with onions looks like. Just onion??

27/12/2025: Food not great the hotel needs Upgrade and more staff at parties and weddings . They give a resent glass of wine . Good location right in the middle of Bandon Kid friendly I am sure it’s great value

08/08/2026: Spent €45 on a takeaway from this restaurant for the first time. They charged us €6.80 for FOUR small bits of chicken pakora!! Ordered 2 portions of chips at the cost of over €7 and they only gave us one portion and even then it looked like a half portion at best not to mention not even cooked properly. Even the Tikka Masala and Korma looked like half portions. Sorry but for this amount of money id expect a hell of a lot better. Will definitely not be back to this place!!!

14/07/2026: Fantastic food with even better service. Definately worth a visit. I seriously cannot fault then any time I have been in there.
