05/04/2026: Been going here for about 8 years and food is brilliant every time - staff are sound and know me by name and I always go in there and talk away with them, very lovely people. Food is brilliant and is one of the highlights of my week, always accommodate the customer. Would very much recommend.

15/02/2026: owners are friendly , staff on phone friendly driver friendly and FAST SERVICE- LOVE THIS irish taxi guy. food is beautiful and gave me lots of food I enjoy the 5in1s. plenty for 2days spicebag is huge , will order again ! ordering online is difficult for me, so website needs to be little clearer on the payment side other then that can't fault it. 2026. February 15th 2026 " DO NOT RECOMMEND- rubber chicken late SERVICE- 1HOUR 15 MINS JUNKIE FORIGHN DRIVER shaking like he wanted drugs told us it was 3 drivers on demand Apparently started at 4pm Wok inn said 1 driver - Him was the driver was rushed to give us the credit card machine both times declined. Gave him 10euro for my 13.50 meal due to late food and time of arrival. I also did cancel the order he still delivered. Rubber chicken. I was a loyal customer up until today. I am going to make sure I never order here nd let my friends know how much of a bad place this is. With this service Should be closed down. Disgusting.

20/08/2025: I had a coffee, and saw what was called a Portuguese custard tart....pastel de nata.. which I must say was horrible. It was dry, no lemon zest taste and absolutely no cinnamon won't be back

10/08/2025: Overall it's a nice cafe with good potential and very comfortable seating options. The cappuccino was good and the overall atmosphere was nice. My biggest criticism is the place was freezing cold as they leave the door open even on cold mornings which is ridiculous. The place looked good in terms of cleanliness except some of the tables needed a deeper clean. Staff were friendly and professional enough. Would I return?......yes, if they closed the door and turned on the heating.

17/07/2026: The worker took my order, but didn't ring it up on the till, so I was a bit dubious about whether it would all be prepared. In the end, after more than 15 minutes, the order did emerge. Importantly, it did taste good. Next time, a chilled bottle of Coke would be appreciated.

17/07/2026: This is for the takeaway fish & chips. Fish was so small & no flavor, chips were under cooked. So disappointing!

01/05/2026: First time trying Donatellos and would highly recommend it. The pizzas were cooked perfectly, looked great, tasted fantastic and were reasonably priced. Would certainly have no hesitation from ordering from here again.

17/05/2026: My first time. I was confused, Lantern evokes Oriental in my mind. I'm not reviewing the name. It's clear this is family and community. 1.best chips I've had in years 2.best fish and batter in along time 3. Chicken and beef burgers are up there. Wow! 4. The service through the hatch from a warm and welcoming young man made me smile. 5. Phone orders are identified by number and exact time of readiness 6. The Lantern is now our weekly LOCAL treat

10/03/2026: Very disappointed with our recent experience. During the last Bank Holiday we both got food poisoning after eating chicken from this place, not only me, but my fiancé as well. Since moving to Bandon we had been ordering from here regularly and always hoped for the best, but this incident was extremely worrying and unacceptable. Food safety should be a priority. Unfortunately after this experience we will definitely not be ordering from here again.

12/04/2026: It has been over a year now since we went here. I've been to most of Asia and the food here isn't very authentic. The quality of the meat wasn't good either in the dishes we both had. I left a lot of my meal. I can't see us going back unless quality of food here improves massively.

15/03/2026: I loved the food, it's very good. I ordered both the Asian food and the pizza menu 🦋. The waitress was super friendly, excellent atmosphere, I highly recommend it.

24/03/2026: They have an extensive menu, but we ordered pizza. It was wonderful! The crust was very crisp but chewy, and the sauce was very light and flavorful, with not too much acidity. The food came quickly and the service there was very attentive.

14/02/2026: Currently waiting over 2.5 hours for a delivery. Tried ringing many many times and getting no answer. Absolute joke i will not be getting food from here again

16/06/2026: In addition to the coffee, we also had a scone and a toasted sandwich. The scone was on the dry side. The coffee tasted watery. The music was also very loud. The toasted sandwich was tasty, though.

15/03/2026: We had a lovely time visiting the Post House when we were in Kinsale. Best coffee (the flat white was our favorite) and best people! ❤️

08/06/2026: Boutique comfort with perfect view of the harbour. Dined in their sister property, The Blue Haven Hotel which was incredible.

07/06/2026: Right in the heart of Kinsale, rooms are nice and the staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent.
