29/05/2025: Brilliant hotel in middle clonkilty lots to do in surrounding area , a couple miles up the road a must visit to warren beach beautiful beach with very clean bathrooms 🚻

22/06/2025: I had a breakfast sandwich which was a bit dissapointing, rasher very fatty, egg over cooked. Tea pot spouts were broken.

01/01/2025: The most amazing coffee in youghal, staff are so nice and friendly, my dog loves it and drags me in there no matter what. So, from the owner to management and amazing staff I look forward to 2025 and the little beach across the street is ideal for some peace and quiet.

29/04/2025: The worst Chinese restaurant I have been to, mainly because of the quality of the food. We went in April, family gathering, 10 of us. Ordered the €46 all in for everyone. The satay chicken? What is that? Shredded I don’t know what? Not for human consumption. Same product in chicken dishes. Taken home by one of the party in a take home container. Could not identify the next day. When charging outrageous prices, you at least have to provide quality food. I gave this restaurant one star. It doesn’t even deserve that. One very unhappy customer that attended a family reunion in April.

26/06/2025: We often stop at Firgrove Hotel for the carvery on our travels between Dublin and West Cork but today 26th June was a very poor offering. I asked the grumpy chef/waiter for a small plate of roast beef please and he gave me one of the thinnest slices of beef he could possibly cut. The turnip and carrots were watery and tasteless and there were no greens. The chicken was burnt! I told the cashier that it was more like a quarter portion and she said she would only charge me for a childs portion. Someone needs to talk to the chef/waiter about customer service and his attitute problem or people will vote with their feet. 👎

18/04/2025: Pat the owner is a gentleman. The bedroom was really spacious and nice. The scenery was beautiful and peaceful and the breakfast was very tasty 😋. Would definitely stay again 😁👍

03/07/2025: We were staying at the attached house, very convenient and the pub was great. Nice pool table and dart board. The bartender was friendly and helpful with directions for the area.

28/04/2025: I visited Monty's with a family member last weekend. We had heard great things about Monty's so we were keen to visit for lunch. Unfortunately, before 2pm, there was no goats cheese, chicken and beef available for sandwiches. I ordered a ham and cheese toastie a short while later and when my relative went to order the same sandwich, they had no ham left either. The quality of the sandwich was disappointing and very greasy. I didnt finish my sandwich and we went to an alternative place so my relative could get a sandwich. Overall we were disappointed with our experience and I felt that it was important to give this feedback.

09/04/2025: Got takeaway lunch on a busy day, food was ready quickly - the sandwich was super tasty and so big, great value, same with the salads. Friendly staff! Will definitely be visiting more often.

20/06/2025: Very bad impressions. There are few animals and they are kept in terrible conditions, they are ragged, thin, half-bald. For the first time I saw a cow lying in a pile of its own excrement, like a pig. Do they clean there at all? The playgrounds are also very dirty, cobwebs, remains of broken toys, dirty slides (it hadn't rained for a week). We were not allowed into one playground, explaining that some group of children were playing there. What did we pay money for to get such a negative experience? (( There is no soup in the children's cafe at lunchtime. We ate, but everything was tasteless, we just filled our stomachs. We will never come again and I don't recommend it to anyone. In my opinion, other farms are much better.

30/05/2025: Gasthaus mit gutem Restaurant an sehr zentraler Lage in Kinsale. Das Zimmer war trotzdem ruhig und komfortabel. Jedoch nicht für Leute mit Gehbeeinträchtigung geeignet (schmale Treppen). Gutes Frühstück und auch sehr gutes Restaurant für Abendessen. Parkplatz hinter dem Haus.

12/05/2025: The White House prides itself on being a AA Guesthouse, Restaurant & Bar. We decided to have dinner there. My wife and I had the Fish & Chips with local Sovereign Island lagers and glasses of Blacks Maple Mayhem Irish Whiskey. Dinner was wonderful, relaxing in a quaint environment. Not sure about other restaurants since it is a small village/town, but this a pretty good option.

28/06/2025: First....it's a caff. Meaning the seating and atmosphere is like a "working mans caff" from the old days. Except... most of its customers are Chinese or Asian and the food is Chinese. Which means it's delicious. It's not about "elegant dining". They've got a restaurant next door that does that (with prices to match). Nope....this is a great caff for quick, tasty, reasonably priced eats. China town (Soho) style eats. Half a roast duck , with delicious dipping sauce... sixteen quid takeaway. I've only ever got takeaway as I use this as an afterthought to my shopping. Eg....I bought some Logamamma chili oil with peanuts and I needed some duck to go with it. It's not your anglicised Chinese. Though I enjoy a lot of anglicised Chinese dishes. The only thing I think is overpriced is their cold drinks £4+ for an apple juice drink???? Staff are nice and service is super quick. Just remember that some dishes may have been prepared earlier and it's normal for them to come at their current temperature. Open 7 days a week. Closes early on a Sunday.

08/06/2025: 100% Hong Kong flavor, iced lemon tea and iced milk tea plus beef tendon noodles and tofu and pork belly rice! There are also too many choices: curry beef brisket rice and mixed fried river, bringing back memories of childhood.

27/07/2025: I have to give a special mention to The Mex, Cobh. They are situated right opposite to the titanic experience. They have AMAZING vegan options. They have vegan Quesadillas, Tacos, Burritos and Nachos. The Nachos with Avacado Cream and Cheese are the best I have ever had. Trust me, im not over hyping them. I can still taste them on my taste buds. So delicious! 🫠 It's a must to try the Vegan Chorizo Burrito bowl. 🥰 The staff over there are friendly and flexible.

21/07/2025: It should be a crime to call this Mexican. I ordered a vegetarian burrito bowl. "Spicy" rice tasted of absolutely nothing and was very waterlogged. The mixed beans tasted as though they'd just been thrown in straight from a tin. There was absolutely no flavour whatsoever in the meal. Appalling.
