The best restaurants in Cork

08/08/2025: We had 2 breakfasts and 2 Dinners at this place. The food was great, especially the custom breakfast options. I also loved the coffee from their in-house espresso machine

19/07/2025: Had a great evening meal there with my mother who had been given a voucher. All three courses were generous servings of perfectly cooked quality ingredients. The staff were super helpful and friendly too.

07/10/2025: Great Night at The Fuerys Brothers fairwell tour. Pints were expensive but it was gig so it was expected. Seating and stage set up was very accommodating. The lads sounded as good as the day they started out. They captivated the whole room and you could tell by the silence of the crowd singing along. They were also great to interact with and had the time to stop chat and sign autographs. Wishing them all the best on their final tour ahead. Great night well worth going to see if in your area. Pointless posting video as Google AI is blocking and muting videos.

23/09/2025: This place serves the absolute best seafood chowder I've ever had. The young waiter was very friendly and did a great job.

21/09/2025: Best meal of my life. Murphy's beer, lamb rack, and white chocolate cheesecake. All excellent! Service was very friendly!

10/06/2025: Went here for lunch Sunday with my two children. Tried the carvery which I have to say was very nice. My children ordered Goujons and Chips from the Kids menu. In fairness their portion size was good but they did not like the Goujons themselves. I tried a piece of one and I found it to be a little tasteless. On a positive note the waitress who served us was lovely and great talking to the kids however the the person serving the carvery was engaging in a very loud conversation with other staff and using colourful language. My children noticed this and were a bit upset talking about it afterwards. While this language is probably acceptable for a bar setting on a Saturday night it was inappropriate in front of children and really unprofessional for someone serving front of house. So a mixed bag really. Good solid Carvery and lovely waitress but disappointing kids food and an unprofessional member of staff.

08/10/2025: Easily the best local pub in Kinsale. The owners are great craic, and the pint of Guinness the best in town by a country mile. Really enjoyed the couple of nights that I spent here.

14/10/2025: Delicious pizza. Had the gluten free camp must try campagniola. Also amazing mighty meaty and Hawaiian pizza. Great service. Support local businesses.

18/09/2025: Pros: - very kind the main waitress Cons: - pizza is really average, even made fresh but in taste similar to a frozen product - glasses for a sodas are the glasses for a pints - too loud tv - other waitress was sitting on the couch of 4 seats table blocking customers to take that table (?) - a little cold inside - main menu is showing one size of pizza 12" but there are also bigger sizes - misinformation

14/09/2025: The rooms are fine and location is very good. The food used to be a lot better here. The quality of the beef in the burgers has dropped a lot. So much that we stopped eating here and go to Cork to eat out instead most of the time. If the quality of food got better I would go back here again as the hotel bar is good. Don't bother with tje carvery though unless you want to be transported back to school dinners.

26/08/2025: Worked a 12 shift today …..had no food was really Hungary…..I tried this place ….had fish and chips…….it was shocking …..has to be the worst fish I’ve eaten on 3 continents….had a strange taste off the fish…….the chips were ok……..one bite of the fish and I knew it was going to be consigned to the dustbin where it belongs………don’t attempt to try the fish at this place…..

06/09/2025: Toilet paper dispenser “missing” in mens’ toilet, ladies toilet out of order, hence only one functioning toilet (disabled) for the entire restaurant. Not great guys.

30/08/2025: first ever mcdonalds with no microwave, keep it in mind if you need to heat the baby food

06/09/2025: Great little pub on a building corner facing the Cobh port. Nice place to rest and have a little libation before continuing your day!

16/08/2025: We stopped in this port and found wonderful Irish hospitality and ice cold beer at this wonderful bar.. Highly recommend stopping in for a cold one! Great outdoor space surrounding the bar as well with the view of the water.

20/08/2025: Really nice chipper in Coachfort co Cork, nice food,I wouldn't recommend any of the burgers , not very nice,but their curry chips are good well priced, excellent service and very friendly staff, you can sit in the takeaway to eat your food,

24/07/2025: Great bar and event venue. Fantastic staff and owner. Last of the great pubs.

22/08/2025: Unfortunately, the lunch offerings were very limited, just a few toasties. But they also had mussels, and they were really great. Otherwise, a typical small-town Irish pub.
