18/03/2025: One of the best experiences during our time in Cork! Very well run restaurant with a great and friendly staff! The owner was also lovely and one of the friendliest people I’ve met! Food was delicious and prawn toast was 10/10. Highly recommend and would come back in a heartbeat if this was our local!

18/03/2025: The pub is quite small inside, located on the Main Street front of the sea. It is nice to have sitting table outside and be able to enjoy the sun (when there is sun..).
Friendly dog place, you can ask for a water bowl.

Guinness great even had some Guinness cocktails for the ladies. The views over the sea were great from the 1st floor

25/03/2025: We chose the Diavola and the Tuna pizzas. The food was tasty and presented nicely. The staff were friendly. We were disappointed that neither Guinness or cider were on the menu but we did enjoy our meal.Thank you!

24/11/2024: Just came in for a quick bite to eat and was greeted with a horrible sight of a blonde girl being overly rude to her own staff member (one in particular). I was shocked and it was quite upsetting for me to see , she continued to say ‘do you still not know how to do this I’ve showed you ten times already ‘. It was very loud and clearly to embaress her in front of customers and other staff. I will not come here again because the customer service and food may of been good but when management are treating their own workers as bad as this it’s more of a disappointment than the food itself !!!
23/11/2024: Food was good, I found one staff member blonde with glasses to be quite upsetting at the till to other staff. “I showed her ten times and she still don’t get it” quite loudy so the whole store could hear. I thought it was very disrespectful the way this lady treated other staff who was clearly trying her best. Almost like she was trying to embarrass the staff member. Also when a staff member cleaning tables she came out to give out to another staff member in a very disrespectful way. A matter where HR should be notified

14/03/2025: The birria tacos were wonderful! It made me feel back home. Cobh is far for me but I would definitely go back to try this food again. 🫶
The only think I would say is that (at least for me), you can add chopped onion and coriander to the birria tacos, that would give a more authentic flavour. Besides that is a 10/10

20/10/2024: We love Ballycotton and absolutely love it. Lots of changes happen each year. However, it's a diamond. The Bayview is literally hanging on the cliff & so important to support our hospitality industry. Local hotels are so important & Suzanne Front of House should be cloned,she's brilliant. Genuine welcome & engaging.
Evening dining was delicious.
Loses one star as the Irish breakfast was below par..
