19/05/2026: Love the Food, and have tried many Dishes 😋 👌 staff couldn't do enough for you. I asked about Tandoor oven Pit and they invited me there and then to see it . I have to say that kitchen is So clean you eat your dinner of the floor . Everything is freshly cooked as ordered so takes a little time . Id give more stars 🌟 if I could . Dont understand negative comments. Go see for yourselves

11/05/2026: Best food 😋 my Husband and I go regular and have had many of the dishes on the Menu and Its always A1. Today was no Expectation everything is good as order so either ring Ahead with order or wait approx 15 mins but by the time you eat complimentary Poppadoms and Dips your main course is ready. Staff are friendly and come round to ask is everyday ok and have no problem with changing if your dish is not to your liking which Never happens to be honest . Place is clean and hygienic , Toilets are always pristine. Cant fault the place

23/02/2026: Good service station with manual and auto car wash. They bought the service station next door and don't seem to be doing anything with the building getting rid of the competition I guess. The toilets need to be cleaned more regularly. Please put pumps in for HGV and Bus/Coach refuelling. It would be also great to see overnight parking toilets and showers and a wash for HGV and bus/coach here as well (a toilet drop for tour coaches would greatly appreciated as well)

11/01/2026: My partner and I had lunch here recently, things started out well, with an excellent pint of Chieftain craft beer, and a cosy fire on a cold January day, but what a disappointment the food was. My roast beef was overdone, served with just mash and boiled carrots and cauliflower, no sign of the other trimmings you might expect, roast potatoes? Yorkshire pudding? Horseradish sauce? The gravy was dismal and tasted only of packet gravy browning. Won't be eating here again.

13/06/2026: We love a chipper and I have to say we were so surprised by how good the food and staff were in this place. I had a burger meal and the burger was amazing, not sloppy and perfectly cooked. My husband had a snack box. The chicken was top class, perfectly cooked, not greasy or dry. Both agreed chips were really good also. A great feed. The staff were polite friendly and super efficient. They even came over with extra napkins for us. Definitely recommend and will definitely be back.

01/07/2026: Absolutely disgusted with the service at Supermac’s Fermoy. My dad ordered a Taco Fries and the cheese on top had mould on it. He brought it back to the counter expecting an apology and a fresh meal. Instead, the young girl serving him was extremely rude, took his fork, mixed the mouldy cheese into the Taco Fries, and handed it straight back to him as if nothing was wrong. Not only was the food unacceptable, but the way my dad was treated was disgraceful. There was no apology, no offer to replace the meal, and no concern for his health or safety. Based on how rude she was and how she handled this situation, I don’t think she should be working in customer service. Management seriously needs to investigate this because this level of food hygiene and customer service is completely unacceptable

15/06/2026: I ordered Garlic & Cheese chips. That's what I usually get when I'm eating here. But today, these were AMAZING😩😩😩

20/03/2026: Genuinely decent food from this chain! Can be a little pricey but they are very nice here and always adding new stuff to the menu. Will often get something free thrown in. Ordered two pizzas (one had chips in the offer) and they gave us both a decent scoop of chips each. Milkshakes are savage too Delivery isn't long, foods always piping. Very little complaints :)

19/05/2026: I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, and every dish was prepared with great care and flavor. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made me feel very welcome throughout the evening. I also really liked the interior design and overall atmosphere — the restaurant is beautifully decorated and creates a very pleasant dining experience. I would definitely come back again and recommend it.

24/04/2026: This was our first visit to the Moghul. Having lived in the UK for thirty years I am aware that Indian restaurants in Ireland have their own iteration of the cuisine. By way of a preamble I make curries from many of the Indian regions at least once a fortnight. They are made from scratch with due care and attention. Many of the YouTube videos done by Indian-based cooks/chefs are an excellent source. The Moghul experience was a mixture of highs and lows. We ordered takeaway - a chicken tandoori starter two different chicken curries, pilau rice, and naan. The service was friendly which is always a good start. The free popadoms were inedible, without a hint of crispness. The word 'floppy' springs to mind. Thrown in the trash. The tandoori chicken starter was very pleasant, the flavourings were subtle and the meat was tender. A decent sized portion too. Each gravy in the curries had its own distinct flavour. Once again the spices were subtle, but they were presented as integrated layers which suggested thoughtful preparation. I had requested an added level or spiciness for my curry which was delivered perfectly. The naan, whilst small, did the job. The pilau rice was 10 out of 10. The colour in particular was perfect. In terms of lows the biggest was the meat in the curries - it was a car crash! We had both ordered tikka meat, and when I ordered over the phone I specifically asked whether the tikka was cooked in a tandoor oven (I own a small one myself) or under a grill. The answer was tandoor. Whilst the pieces of meat had skewer holes in them the flesh was as white as milk, with almost none of the colouring/flavour one would expect from a tikka marinade. If this meat spent more than 30 seconds in a tandoor oven I will eat my hat! There was zero evidence (taste and colouring) to suggest otherwise. The 'tikka chicken' in both curries was tasteless and bland. How was this possible? In truth it ruined what could have been two excellent curries Although a moot point, it was breast meat and not thigh which tends to have more flavour. Believe me when I say I wanted this curry house to work, because it is my local. I called them within minutes of eating to ask what was going on. The staff member who answered the phone responded that I was the first person EVER to make such a comment and could not adequately explain how 'tikka' meat can have zero tikka. I will give the restaurant the benefit of the doubt but the next time the tikka police will be in town! PS the online booking system would not let me order until the restaurant opened at 17:00 which was very strange. I mentioned this to the staff member at the reception/till. Apparently this too was the first time this issue had EVER been mentioned. It was an experience filled with Firsts... UPDATE I returned to the Moghul this evening for a takeaway. After previously being assured by the manager I'd be 'looked after' (because of issues with the previous order) this promise was a totally meaningless gesture. I was told that the chef's disputed my 'tikka free' feedback. Not sure why the management did not use the Google review response option to respond with this opinion. During this wonderful verbal bunfight as I asked repeatedly to pay for my takeaway the 'bloke' said he had read all my Google reviews and in a threatening manner said if I had written similar things about the Moghul 'things would be very different'. Oh dear. The manager then kicked off saying that she was very upset about my initial review, and 'I should think about people's jobs'. All very defensive. The angsty vibe certainly helped build up my appetite. After all that friendly interaction I see no pont in reviewing the second takeaway, other than to say the tikka meat was the same colour as porridge - see photo. The tandoor chicken tasted deep fried. PS as previously mentioned don't even think of online pre-ordering. The mixed messages from the 'management' on this topic are more all over the place than their customer service. The Tikka Police have left town and they will not be back.

05/11/2025: Spent over €40 in this shop yesterday, only to wait 40 minutes for half warm food with hair in it. Staff are terrible, no refund offered. Tbh disgusting. Staff have no clue regarding hygiene towards food. This place has gone to the dogs. Genuinely would make you feel unwell and sick.

17/07/2026: Extremely disappointed we were working in town had two pints in two different pubs walked in there for one more pint before home and they refused myself and my friend, and I would say purely on the basis of looks. had money to spend in a dying town by the looks of it and no wonder why. Fuming about how we were treated. (And we weren't in work clothes!)

26/06/2026: Ordered passanda chicken with peshwari naan and chips. Absolutely gorgeous. The naan bread was stunning. They put in an extra dish which was nice of them and appreciated.
