28/03/2026: I’m absolutely shocked and disgusted by some of the negative comments around this restaurant and the quality of food. The moment you call in your order your greeted so gently and promptly by staff,When your food is ready your greeted by friendly staff not to forget the female owner who’s an absolute sweetheart and an incredibly kind and generous person . When I spoke to her about the comments her response was very positive but I could see it hurt her because like she said you can’t please everyone and that she always ensures the best experience and food for everyone regardless of comments. The food is always top quality,the taste of the house special curry is the best I’ve ever had and the chilli prawn for starter are mouth watering. The portions are more than enough for two and even when reheated it’s even better. Everyone is has different tastes but in future remember that negative feedback can affect people’s livelihood’s especially in this climate. There’s not many Chinese restaurants around where you get your bang for your money,great customer service and absolutely amazing food

05/11/2025: Spent over €40 in this shop yesterday, only to wait 40 minutes for half warm food with hair in it. Staff are terrible, no refund offered. Tbh disgusting. Staff have no clue regarding hygiene towards food. This place has gone to the dogs. Genuinely would make you feel unwell and sick.

07/02/2026: Probably one of the worst experiences in a Chinese restaurant and any restaurant for that matter. Food was edible but that is about as good as it gets. Our experience consisted of unhygienic ethic and unmannerly service. Firstly one waitress was mopping and drying the floor with a towel as we arrived, then then served us our food without cleaning their hands and left the dirty towel that was dragged along the floor on another chair in the restaurant as we were eating. Then after that, as we were eating, we were sat next to a plug in Bluetooth speaker that was apparently setting the atmosphere but the only atmosphere it set was the smell of a cheap, broke owners who can't afford Spotify or YouTube premium because it kept playing adverts the whole time we were there. And they didn't even let a song finish, kept skipping songs halfway through. And to top it all off, 2 waitresses were having a conversation as we were eating that the whole street could hear, and swearing with foul language during the conversation, no manners, ethetic or awareness of what service should be at all. Most definitely will not be returning to this place.

07/03/2026: Ordered food for takeaway. It arrived lukewarm at best, so I had to reheat it. Unfortunately, the texture is never the same after that. I called the restaurant to let them know the food arrived cold, but the lady on the phone was very rude. She told me I was wrong and basically said I was lying, then hung up on me. I understand they get a lot of false complaints and people wanting refunds, but the least she could do is listen and apologise. I’ve spent €40 just to get a disappointing meal that had to be reheated. This isn’t the best way to represent a business, especially in the food industry. Even though I’m local, I will not be ordering from here ever again.

20/11/2025: We went to watch a friends band. Great atmosphere and service was quite good. Especially with how busy it was. Fills up fast so get in early for a seat in the weekend

26/01/2026: Got a Doner kebab, curry chips and onion bhajis. Unfortunately this was a poor experience. First off the curry chips. The chips were nice. Curry watered down and tasteless. Also the portion was pathetic. Half filled the box. Bit of a joke really, I don’t know how they could honestly hand it out with a straight face. I could see the bottom on one side of the container when I opened it. The onion bhajis did not taste good and didn’t have enough onion. The kebab was the worst of all. The meat was disgusting, mushy, gelatinous and tasted bland. They also added spiced onion to the kebab which made it taste very weird. I asked for spicy but honestly there was just no flavour off it. One of the worst I’ve had around. I won’t be coming back.

26/01/2026: I discovered Oscars in Kinsale, it’s the sports bar experience in Ireland that you are looking for. No food and they have a patio AKA. Beer Garden. Enjoy!

15/01/2026: Really nice space. Great location. Beautiful decor. Shame the bartender who served me a pint seems to use 100% of his neurons to be rude to irregular customers. Pathetic

09/11/2025: Supermac's Mitchelstown offers great choices, with chicken & beef their main choices. We love the vegetarian pizza! Handmade in front of you, using the freshest of ingredients.
