19/02/2026: Please be advised, this is no longer a cafe! Tried to visit in Feb26 and it only does interiors. I’m sure the interiors are lovely. The lady in the Top forecourt across the way said the cafe is gone now.

10/10/2026: A Must-Try Seafood Experience at Jack’s Restaurant, Glengarriff The seafood chowder is a must-try starter! It’s delicious and a great way to begin your meal. I highly recommend the scallops with creamy bacon sauce. The taste is superb, and the portion is so generous that it can easily be shared by two people. It comes with mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, and salad, making it a very satisfying dish. The prawn pasta is another must-try! The serving is also generous enough for two people, and the flavour is excellent. The catch of the day is equally delicious, with a very generous portion. Overall, everything we tried was fantastic in both taste and portion size. If you’re visiting Glengarriff, don’t miss the chance to dine at Jack’s Restaurant. The seafood dishes are highly recommended, and you certainly won’t leave hungry! **Highly recommended and definitely worth a visit!** 🦐🐚🍽️

08/08/2026: We went to see the exhibition Siobhán McGibbo, an Irish artist from this region. Is was amazing. An incredible treat for all senses.

07/09/2026: The senior barman, Oisín was extremely helpful with any request for our party of 4. He has an admirable personality, a quality not always displayed by staff in the hospitality industry. Likewise the barman, Eoin, and a young blonde haired lady who's name I didn't get. Quality of food and service was top class in every aspect, would highly recommend the Park 89 bar and bistro.

07/10/2026: Great food, lovely service, calming and inviting atmosphere. Got a sticky toffee pudding and it was heavenly. Husband got an Irish coffee and described it as "good." So that's a win for Sidneys.

02/09/2026: It was grand, but pretty average overall. The food was decent enough — nothing amazing, but nothing terrible either. For the price, I honestly expected a bit more. It’s quite expensive for what you get, so I think they could definitely step the quality up a little. Wouldn’t say it was bad, just a bit underwhelming for the money.

12/10/2026: It looked great when it came out, but the taste didn’t match up. There was a ton of breading and not enough fish. The fries were also hard which was disappointing.

29/09/2026: The toasted sandwich was very hard and black around the edges. The hot chocolate with marshmallows was very tasty.

27/09/2026: ​While the cakes here are undeniably delicious, the rest of the experience was a major disappointment. ​The cleanliness of the place left a lot to be desired—the tables were visibly dirty and uncleaned, which instantly set a bad impression. To top it off, the staff were cold, unhelpful, and completely unwelcoming. ​It’s a shame because the baking is great, but poor hygiene and substandard service mean we won't be coming back.

08/08/2026: First time in a long time I've eaten in a supermacs. I would happily return for seconds. Staff were great super helpful no messing about. Family and I had a wonderful experience and would recommend for food in the town

04/09/2026: How about ye actually stay open for once, ye close at random times. Maybe change the time your open until on google so people don't waste their time driving to get food to a place that closes when they feel

11/07/2026: The most disgusting place there can be! Noisy! The visitors are very noisy! Dirt and anti-sanitation in the room! It stinks disgustingly of cigarettes and alcohol! Just one horror!

23/08/2026: McDonald’s and Burger King don’t even come close to Supermac’s. The burgers are better, the portions are better, and the whole experience just hits differently. After trying Supermac’s, the other two feel like absolute crap in comparison. 🇮🇪🍔 Supermac’s wins, no contest.
