14/10/2024: Change your opening times on Google! Walked all the way through the town and up to this pub to have the door shut on us, and no answer, even though your opening times suggested we could come for a drink!

21/09/2024: We were a little apprehensive to order due to reviews from people who stayed at Cottages for Couples which we were also doing; but we could not fault it. We ordered delivery and the food arrived in 17 minutes (we were told it would take at least 25). It was piping hot and delicious. We shared a spice bag, chicken curry, rice and noodles. We will definitely be returning if we are ever near here again. The whole lot including delivery was €25 which was great and the portions were perfect.

03/03/2025: Ordered a regular beef burger, a special chicken burger and potatoes. The chicken burger was amazing, but the beef burger was a huge disappointment, I expected a proper beef burger, not a McDonald’s style hamburger at four times the price. If I had known, I would have ordered the special beef burger instead. Hopefully, next time the staff won’t seem annoyed when explaining the menu. Potatoes were very well done.

03/12/2024: The woman who runs Hudson's now is unfriendly, rude, and can be quite unpleasant sometimes. The prices are high, it is hard to find things, and in my experience they nearly always round the price up to the nearest 10¢, never down.
I suggest instead Organico in Bantry or Goodness Foods in Skibbereen, both of which have pleasant staff and which I can recommend.
UPDATE December 2024:
It now has a new owner so is worth checking out again! I will report here once I have any more info.

When I ask for a lot of salt and vinegar they do not disappoint. All the staff are incredibly nice even when rushed of their feet!
14/01/2025: Taco fries on the menu👍, with a rich creamy delicious sauce grated cheese and a taste of home made off it, this place is worth a visit for the taste alone

19/12/2024: This place has just changed its name to A&T Luxflavor ..had breakfast here today .. Service was good. but the food was muck. Sausage bacon hash brown beans and mushroom .. toast and the worst cappuccino i have ever tasted .. The place was empty at lunchtime, and now i can see why...The cheap produce that was our breakfast could have been anything. .. It was totally tasteless.. including the crap coffee. We wont be returning
10/12/2024: A very nice place with a pleasant atmosphere. The staff is always friendly, and the service is excellent. It’s a place you want to come back to again and again. Highly recommend!

08/03/2025: The food was good. The atmosphere is lacking. The owner behind the bar was very unfriendly. Not the typical Irish welcome you would expect in West Cork. For that reason I would not return.
28/01/2025: Had a really long week at work.. Decided to finish my week by going out for dinner and a glass of wine. Dinner was heavenly! We got starters and main courses and every thing couldn't have been more tasty or perfect!! Sitting at home relaxing now - still thinking about how amazing the food was!! I wish I could've taken better photos but I was just too impatient and hungry lol! Next time 😊

09/03/2025: Chef and owner don’t know what sourdough is. 31 euro for 4 pieces of monkfish and 4 prawns in a tomato soup dressed as stew served with commercial “sourdough” aka a slice pan.
Eaten there 10+ times in the past and always had issues.
Cost cutting in the kitchen at those prices. You’ll be found out.
03/03/2025: First Class. If you are going or near Clonakilty you cannot miss An Sugan. As a group of 14 attending a Backgammon competition in Clonakilty, I booked An Sugan. We have been in An Sugan several times before and is never fails to deliver exceptional food and service. All 14 of us thououghly enjoyed the food and ambience of this restaraunt. We as a groupd had a variety of starters, main courses and deserts, every single person complimented the food. I am sorry In never got the waitress name but she was so professional and polite. Upon arrival we were greeted by Denis who is a legend. Many thanks for making our night an enjoyable and memotable night. Thank you so much.
