19/09/2026: I ordered two completely different chicken dishes from this takeaway, and the chicken in both of them was old and spoiled. As soon as I bit into it, the meat had a foul, rotten smell and a terrible sour taste. It was clearly old meat that had gone off. Serving rotten chicken to customers is extremely dangerous and a severe health risk. I will not be ordering from here again, and I strongly advise others to avoid it for their own health and safety.

06/09/2026: Ordered a 4in1 and spicebag yesterday , the 4in1 was lovely however the spicebag was very dry and the chicken did not taste like chicken. Super chewey and very dry. Almost impossible to eat. Very disappointed as usually I am a big fan of the food however this time I had to throw it away.

13/09/2026: Sam’s Bar is easily one of the best pubs in Ireland. Great atmosphere, friendly staff and always a brilliant place to stop for a few drinks. It has that proper local pub feel that’s getting harder to find, and whether it’s busy or quiet you always feel welcome. Great craic, good pints and just a really enjoyable place to spend an evening. If you’re visiting Kinsale, Sam’s is definitely worth a visit. One of those pubs you keep going back to.

18/08/2026: Awfully rude bar manager who really shouldn't be working in hospitality. There are so many great pubs in Kinsale that deserve your business, this isn't one of them.

08/09/2026: I never had so good experience in McDonald's with customer service. Kim was very attentive during the short service time.

12/08/2026: The food really isn't the problem here in my experience. The young lad on the drive through needs to start speaking up. When asking him the options for desert menu you can barely hear what he's saying, it's always one big muddled, muffly sentence. This is on the third occasion we've noticed this.

18/05/2026: Tasty Chinese food. Fried rice, Satay chicken, Orange chicken, Singapore fried rice and Amber fire beef are all very good. Try something new on the menu because the less ordered stuff is really good. Take out only (ok cos it’s a bit dark & aging) and cash only.

21/07/2026: Absolutely fantastic food. Proper New Yorker packed with beef and pastrami. Takeaway for €5.95 is best value one could ask for (and the great taste as a bonus!)

16/08/2026: Very disappointing experience for young children—needs urgent safety updates.We visited with our 4 and 6-year-old children, who were incredibly excited to see the animals but left very upset by how few there actually were.The outdoor facilities are sadly in a state of neglect. The playground is quite run-down, with broken toy tractors and carts that do not move. Most concerning was the sandpit; it contains harsh construction gravel rather than sand, and it is full of broken toys, old, rusty diggers, and sharp metal edges that pose a real safety risk to small kids.Additionally, the fairy area is completely overgrown and non-existent, and the fairy pond was black and full of algae, closely resembling a slurry tank. Given the cost, we were highly disappointed by the overall condition of the farm and cannot recommend it in its current state.

07/08/2026: My son attended the summer camp and loved it. We have also been there to visit the farm and it has great facilities, variety of animals and the cofee shop is lovely

13/08/2026: Just walked out and cancelled my order,the owner was completely unhelpful. Lady on the till was apologetic but unable to help. Lovely lady but not her fault

19/07/2026: Nicely placed inside the old train station. It can get busy with queues for service but otherwise it's worth a visit. Be warned-in the summer it can get hot due to the glass ceiling

30/06/2026: Well what can I say. I really was not impressed. How they got beyond 4 stars amazes me. I like kebabs but this was awful. The meat was pale, the sauce was watery and made the wrap very soggy. The lettuce was soggy (because of the sauce) and the onions were very chunky. I only ate a quarter of it and my car smelled like a Trolls foot afterwards. On the good side the chips were fluffy on the inside and crisp on the outside and full of salty deliciousness.

01/05/2026: Today was my second time at this place after a poor experience on my first visit with cold garlic/cheese chips, but today took the biscuit altogether order taco fries and 2 quater pounders that were stone cold, clearly cooked earlier in the day and reheated, this was my second and last time shocking experience

18/08/2026: Very disappointing experience getting food delivered for the first (and only) time. We ordered 4 meal deals. It took almost 90 mins and on opening the bag, there was a portion of chips missing and no drinks. I ring to inform and it took another hour to get the missing chips and only 2 drinks. Being told that they are busy is no excuse. It is basic service that the items ordered are checked off before being sent out for delivery. On a separate note, the delivery driver could not have been nicer.

13/08/2026: In general the food is pretty good and the service is always friendly. We made use of delivery for the first time today. It took almost 90 mins to arrive. Four meals deals were ordered and they arrived with one order of chips missing and no drinks. We rang and well over an hour later, the chips and only two drinks were sent out. I appreciate that it can be busy but the least you expect is that the order is checked before being sent for delivery. We will not be availing of it again

02/10/2026: Best food in kinsale. Hands Down. Delicious, generously portioned, healthy, flavourful food. I eat here as often whenever I am home. Sit-in and savour every bite. My go-to order is ramen, pho or chicken soto.

28/08/2026: Quick service restaurant with some good vegetarian options. (Not always easy in seafood forward Kinsale.) Will prepare any bowl as vegetarian/vegan. Most customers seem to get as takeout but there is a small dining area.

28/08/2026: 1 star Unfortunately, my experience here was very poor. The food was genuinely disappointing — poor quality, badly prepared and not something I would order again. The service wasn’t much better. What concerned me most, however, was what I personally witnessed regarding hygiene. I saw staff handling phones and money and then continuing with food preparation without washing their hands. I also didn’t see gloves being used when handling food. On one occasion, I witnessed an older member of staff, wearing a Mr. Kebab T-shirt, picking at his toes while out the back. When I challenged him about it, he told me he was on his break. Regardless of whether someone is on a break, basic hygiene standards should be maintained in an area where food is being prepared. I’ve also noticed the back door being left open, with the alleyway immediately behind the premises looking far from clean. From outside, you can see into the back area, and frankly, it doesn’t give a good impression of cleanliness or food safety. I also found it uncomfortable when staff were speaking to each other in their own language in front of customers. I appreciate that staff can speak whatever language they like, but when you’re serving customers, I think it’s important to communicate professionally and make customers feel comfortable. Overall, the combination of poor food, disappointing service and the hygiene issues I personally witnessed means I won’t be returning. I’d strongly encourage management to take a serious look at their food preparation practices, staff hygiene and the cleanliness of the premises.

01/06/2026: My first and last time in here on the way to Dublin. When I walked in I saw all tables covered with dirty plates, cups etc. When staff took it from my table after a while didn't even wipe off sticky dirts from the surface. It was disgusting sitting there. So irish.

13/08/2026: I have tried this place maybe four or five times as I kept trying to give the place a chance, unfortunately the first time the food was bland as ever, half the order was missing, second time same thing there is so flavour to there food ordered a portion of chicken balls last time I had to actually use paper as there was soo much oil it made me sick. Also the service inside there is shocking the girl that answers the phone really does not want to be there, and isn't friendly and would also try to rush you as well. By far the worst Chinese in west Cork
