The best restaurants in Cork

11/04/2025: I went in for my lunch, a lovely man (unfortunately I didn’t get his name); bald with glasses (mid 40s?) seen my uniform and realised I was in health care, and emphasised how greatful he was for the work that we do and was just overall such a lovely and genuine man to talk to! I hope in the near future when I return to this particular store that I have the pleasure to speak to him again! I wholeheartedly say that He is an asset to the company!

24/04/2025: Dirty table, dirty paper napkin, very dirty. Hairs in my food. The fish and chips were good and big but they need to clean the restaurant. This is the minimum I require

06/08/2024: Had lunch here, toasties, tasted great, served beautifully.

13/07/2024: Their coffees are lovely and the staff are friendly. The food is on the expensive side. I would return for coffees only.

06/03/2025: I recently ordered from Apache Pizza, and I was very impressed! The pizza was of great quality, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. What really made the experience stand out, though, was the excellent service I received from Alina. She was incredibly nice and helpful, making the whole process smooth and pleasant. I'd definitely recommend Apache Pizza in Bandon, and a special thanks to Alina for her fantastic service.

04/02/2025: The price of the products does not match the menu.

08/06/2025: I do not recommend this institution. This is not the first time that pizza was ordered there, but they mixed up the order in this bearing. Instead of the ordered pizza, we received a completely different one, not the one that we ordered .

09/01/2025: Food was a bit uncooked. Chicken teaders was just uncooked. 5 only as well. Chips were alright.

22/04/2025: The best institution in this category! We ordered food, the staff is very friendly :) I ordered a sprite, I was asked at what temperature, dietary or not, and so on, and at the end, during the confirmation of the order, they brought out all kinds of sprite and 7up that they had so that I could get what I needed, it really surprised me, because not every establishment has such care for visitors! Thank you very much for the good service ❤️ The food was also good and tasty, which once again surprises me and forces me to thank you once again for everything they gave me, there were no problems with payment and taste, that's why 5 stars for sure The atmosphere is very friendly, all the tables are clean and new, the floor is dry and washed, the windows too Once again I want to thank everyone for such care in front of visitors <3

08/01/2025: Absolutely brilliant - we were so impressed, we had kebabs, Singapore noodles, beef in black bean and house specials. Fresh, hot and tasty.

17/08/2024: Very good choice of cakes and excellent pastries. As a Frenchman, I'm happy to rediscover flavors I've experienced before. The staff are very friendly and professional. I highly recommend their store in Bandon and their stand at the English Market in Cork.

28/01/2025: Fantastic food great friendly staff on the phone delivery driver not so nice wheres the nice chatting fella gone he was the best delivery driver I've ever seen I think he's name was Michael or Mick 😞

24/04/2025: Here today had a few meals with family, a bit overpriced for the meals like all Supermacs, nothing much to write home about, not a fan of these places but was in a pinch today.

19/02/2025: im 14 years old, was on my way back from a friends house at around 8:30 and wanted to look at the pizzas next door to supermacs. walked in the supermacs door and turned left to papa johns where there was a sign (i assume to stop people going through) but i had not eaten in papa johns before, so i brushed past it by a step and leaned to se the menu. “oi oi” a member of staff was yelling. i turned and he was shouting saying the floor was wet and i had to order at the main till. i’m not from cobh as i, visiting t family so i don’t know anything about this supermacs or the way it works. i was not happy with how i was treated and so i walked out and you lost a young innocent customer for being rude under a misunderstanding. not very pleased as i like supermacs, won’t be going there again.

07/05/2025: Good sandwiches and toasties, and very friendly service. I'd go back anytime.

19/03/2025: Called into the Midleton shop yesterday and witnessed who I assume was either the supervisor or the manager berating a younger member of staff about what appeared to be a work-related issue and the situation made me quite uncomfortable. You could see that the young person was visibly distraught. I gathered that this was a matter that should have been dealt with privately and not in front of customers as it caused an awkward, uneasy atmosphere. I found this unprofessional and off-putting.

24/01/2025: The chicken and mushroom In blackbean sauce is just unreal. Used to get chicken curry but got a bit spicy for me to enjoy. Fried noodles are just unreal👌chicken cheese rolls also and spring rolls. Love the food here and staff are very friendly but delivery has crept up. We are 10 minutes if less drive from carrigaline but on the plus side food always arrive piping hot and the deliver drivers are so nice and friendly.

16/01/2025: Wok Inn is ok and worth a try, in the Spice Bag it's the stringy chicken. Singapore Noodles are good 👍

26/01/2025: Food is okay nothing special but okay and filling and alright price too the girl at the counter I could only remember her having blonde hair didn’t get a name but she was so so rude normally the staff there is nice but she was absolutely rude maybe an off day but came back again and the same girl served me and still so rude and a grin on her face made me leave as she has made me uncomfortable won’t be returning if I see that lady working no offence just really rude

27/12/2024: This is what I paid €7.95 for... What an absolute joke. The portions in Galway are 2x bigger. Also terrible service.

14/10/2024: Disgusting. 2 time in a row getting awful food here. This time, sausages were frozen cold, and the toast had actual mould all over it. Got up and walked out and never going back. Worst place I've been too and when U consider the competition up the road in carrigaline etc surprised this place is still open. Tbh, based on the disgusting nonsense served today, I'll probably report them to FSA

25/09/2024: Really poor service all of the waiters were miserable and wouldn't let us order breakfast 20min before time or order lunch so we just had to wait and the food wasn't great unfortunately.
