30/03/2025: Heard bad things about the food so ordered salt and pepper chips as I thought nothing could go wrong with something so simple, however I couldn’t have been more wrong. Opened the bag of chips and was confused as they seemed to be just normal chips, I genuinely thought they had accidentally given the wrong order however I poured the chips into a bowl and realised there was one or two flakes of onion at the bottom of the bag alongside about 3 pieces of chilli of molecular size and realised this actually is the “restaurants” poor excuse of salt and pepper chips. The chips were so dry and stale that I started coughing while trying to eat them as I could feel the shards of dehydrated chips assaulting my airways. The staff had the audacity to charge me 1.50 for curry sauce which had a similar consistency to liquid concrete. At this stage I came to the conclusion that my best option would be to throw the food in the bin, however before doing so I offered a chip to my dog, to which even he declined. Please never visit this scamming establishment for the sake of your own safety. Genuinely traumatic

02/02/2025: Not open when advertised. Came here on a Sunday hoping for a bite to eat and they are closed. Only the biggest fools would close a restaurant on a bank holiday Sunday that would be their busiest time since Christmas. I won't be returning, they dint value the buisness. Also their spice bags are remarkably bland.

03/01/2025: We got four main course this evening, The two chicken curry's were lovely. Unfortunately the fried rice was not good. Noodles were nice. The two beef dishes were very bad beef was hard tough, and little sauce with no taste and mushroom were not fresh. Not acceptable at all. Very unhappy and won't be ordering off ye again.

09/12/2024: The food is great if you get everything you order. When I get everything that I ordered it is 5 stars but recently they have begun to forget part of the order. I was missing a sweet and sour sauce last Saturday and over the last while I've been left short chips, rice and even an entire main

29/03/2025: Has never disappointed. I always order the madras, which is perfect balance of spiciness and flavour. Whether its for pick up or dine in, always met with a warm smile and pleasant conversation. Thank you!

16/03/2025: Couldn't in good conscience recommend here. We ordered chicken Korma, butter chicken and pilau rice. We received regular boiled rice which was fine but the curries... were not curries. The korma was an off white colour and tasted of cream while the butter chicken was a pale orange colour that again tasted solely of cream. Both had maybe 7 small stripes of chicken that had zero flavour. Almost €45 for completely inedible food!

22/11/2024: Usually go here for my coffee, staff always so pleasant and coffee is very nice but has been quite disappointing over the last couple of weeks as i had ordered a coffee which seemed to have “bits” floating in my coffee which i didnt take notice of untill i had finished my coffee, i had also gotten an iced coffee last week and there was the incorrect size lid on the cup so as i was walking to my car it had spilled and the lid came off

26/12/2024: Today, I ordered chicken bal and nuggets, but unfortunately, the food was disappointing. It was fried in what seemed like old oil, which affected the taste of the dishes. Additionally, the chicken bal was raw inside, and the kebab was inedible, with poorly prepared meat. This was definitely my first and last order from this place.

24/03/2025: Went to hangout Saturday for a chicken kebab. Only place I've been hanging out since is the toilet. Stomach is in a heap since.. usually there food is good but 100% would not get a chicken kebab again

01/03/2025: Went into Little Man pub in Mallow as I was waiting on an appointment and was served by the nice gentleman owner relaxed into a comfortable armchair by a lovely wood burning stove and loved the nice relaxed atmosphere. Would recommend to everyone. For those who do visit. Enjoy.

27/08/2024: Ordered lamb makhani, got pieces of meat in what can only be described as paint. It was a bright pink concoction that tasted like sweetened chalk. €14 down the drain, literally.

01/02/2025: 1h waiting and no drinks. I had to remind them. 1h 30min+ since we ordered the food and still waiting. Food is good but I don't think the waiting time is reasonable.

25/01/2025: Staff are nice and welcoming, even able to get us a table without a booking after a little wait. Happy to be seated and took our order etc. 1 starter two mains. The Samosa were very poor, 2 on a plate of very tired salad with tiny lemon slice. No accompanying chutney or dip €7.50? Two main were tasty but nothing special. Korma was very sweet, could taste the sugar granules still. €60+ very basic fair and nothing extra.

10/03/2025: The food was excellent! Very good quality and tasty. Probably one of the best restaurant we have been in Ireland. A well decorated cosy pub restaurant. We recommend!

03/03/2025: Called in this afternoon for a drink, was served by Ellie, wonderful waitress, lovely warm personality , booked for evening meal, was fabulous ! Had seafood chowder and steak, husband had pili prawns and sea bass, excellent, served by Trinity, very warm and hospitable, lovely surroundings and very enjoyable last night in Kinsale !
