The best restaurants in Cork

08/10/2024: I ordered a chicken and black bean with green peppers and specifically asked for no mushrooms in the dish due to someone in my household having a serious food allergy and reaction to mushrooms when ingested. It wasn't until I was at home after collecting the, food I realized this so I phoned the restaurant and explained the situation. The woman on the phone was very rude and tried to convince me that I ordered mushrooms and not green pepper. I explained that this is impossible as I am living with someone with a serious allergy to mushrooms. I drove down to the restaurant to have the dish replaced and when there the woman was laughing in my face about the situation and said "you can pick them out". She was also laughing in Chinese with the kitchen and created a nasty atmosphere. Having wasted 20 minutes trying to fix their mess up with the dish, the remainder of the food from the first order was stone cold. Food was nice but service was horrendous. Never again.

01/07/2024: Amazing experience and great behaviour from the staff. Highly recommended place if you’re looking for fish & chips and burger in Bantry town. Faizal was a wonderful host and he took additional requests for customise food options. Place is hygienic and well maintained to accommodate friends and family.

20/09/2024: Phoned in an order and was told it would be 30mins. After 50mins of not hearing anything I called. Was told the driver will be leaving in 5mins. Again waited another 30 mins, I rang again. Was told the food had just left. I live 10mins from the place and the food arrives 40mins later and cold. Wont be ordering from here ever again. Very dissappointing service

20/11/2024: Been getting these guys for years. Best in Cobh. Beautiful pizzas, chips & sauces. The Chinese food is also very good. Highly recommend!

17/09/2024: Waste of 40 euro. The chow mein was slimy, the sweet and sour sauce had been made with vinegar and the curry sauce was...well It was disgusting. The only good thing was the chips. WONT BE BACK!!

09/06/2024: I had the ham and cheese croissant where the ham was chewy and fatty. Side salad was only lettuce and marinated onion with a bad vinegar dressing. My son had a lasagne was greasy and tasteless. We won’t return back.

16/09/2023: Terrible experience in midleton store today. Witnessed a mother and child treated with a complete lack of empathy, respect and common decency. Service and beverages were tasty though ruined by the actions of both baristas. Would find it hard to support this shop in the future

01/10/2024: Overpriced poor quality fast food. Burger was placed in takeaway bag side way's so was a mess. Staff on their mobiles and talking to you while not looking at you.

30/10/2024: I loved the place! It’s a really good place for family/ friends. The staff was so kind and nice. And the best, you can buy something and get a free ice cream!

08/10/2024: Went to on midleton today with my daughter .Young staff member was the rudest person I have ever dealt with .Tried calling to speak to a manager last 3 hrs but nobody answering phone ..will never return she was an absolute disgrace..

11/07/2024: Flies everywhere food was not great. Chips where oily burger felt raw the food was not the best but I’m usually not picky..the the service (amazing staff) was the only thing good here.

17/08/2024: Very good choice of cakes and excellent pastries. As a Frenchman, I'm happy to rediscover flavors I've experienced before. The staff are very friendly and professional. I highly recommend their store in Bandon and their stand at the English Market in Cork.

29/09/2024: Bar manager said they wouldn’t show the last 15 minutes of the Celtic game because it’s too much trouble. Shame they are happy to have scarves from clubs with at best questionable political stances. A few minutes later Idah, a man from County Cork, scored for Celtic - sad they won’t support their own.
