26/01/2026: We had an unpleasant experience of ordering some takeaway on 15th of January using the Preferred "YoYo" app. Our charges went through and we popped round to Spice about 40 minutes later... Only to see a sign on the door that says "closed for remodeling until 1 February." Nobody was at the restaurant, and nobody has answered the phone, so we're still out €60 for food we didn't get. I hope I'll be able to change this review or update it if I receive a refund.

23/08/2026: We went there for a Bolognese like 45min before they were closing. Was very surprised to get a really good pasta with bolognese. Very friendly service.

02/07/2026: Literally the best kebabs I’ve ever had in my life. Dont listen to all the hater reviews genuinely can’t believe people could say those things about this place. I saw him freshly pulling and stretching the nan dough. And the CKICKEN was so undeliverablely juicy and fresh. The garlic sauce was yogurt based which added an extra depth of fresh flavour. And the spicy sauce was perfect subtle but pleasant. They were all very generously filled and lots of meat too. As seen in photo. The guy in the shop seamed so happy to see costumers he seamed to be in a very jolly mood. He double checked are order, and made sure we had everything we wanted and asked if there was something we wanted to change to the kebab. We only waited just about under 10mins. The price was also amazing €8 for all that. feeling happy and full. So happy about my experience here and I really do think it’s very underrated. My heart truly goes out to him.

16/08/2026: Had a lovely experience here! I ordered the butter chicken and it was absolutely delicious—full of flavour and perfectly cooked. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and happy to help with anything we needed. Great food and great service. I’ll definitely be back!

06/07/2026: I ordered the breast in a bun, a chicken kebab, and a large chips. The breast in a bun was just okay, nothing special. The "chicken kebab" was basically three chicken goujons with a bit of lettuce and coleslaw, and the pitta bread felt like it had been soaked in oil. The chips were awful. All I could taste was burnt oil, and they were full of tiny crispy potato bits that were rock hard. In fact, everything tasted like it had been cooked in old burnt oil. It was my first time ordering from here, and it'll definitely be my last.

17/05/2026: Good food yesterday for my daughter communion. Absolutely delicious 😋 and excellent 👌 value. Highly recommend for parties . Will definitely be ordering again. And Sam absolutely lovely to deal with.mini pies were a big hit . Thank you the mill grill from Aoife. Very happy ☺️

11/10/2026: I have previously left a glowing review for this place several years ago, and I often recommended Bruno’s—not anymore. I hadn't been here in a while and I'm not sure what has happened to the place. On Friday, I drove for 40 minutes to order two takeaway pizzas from here after building it up to my friend. I was left waiting quite some time even though it was very quiet as they were setting up for a large booking. When the older lady working here came to take my order, I asked for two pizzas, one with no sauce. She threw the pen and paper onto the counter, shook her head, and grunted that she would get someone else to deal with me. I waited again for a man to then come take my order, but it was being made unnecessarily complicated, and I was made to feel like they just did not want the business. I'm embarrassed to say I was still going ahead with the order, as I remember how delicious the pizza used to be. When I went to pay, I was told cash only, so I just left it off. So disappointing and terrible to see such a great, vibrant, and friendly restaurant turn to the complete opposite. I definitely think that rude woman is in the wrong profession, and I hope she gets a handle on her stress levels.

18/07/2026: Usually excellent place and food,but for today very disappointed as it's not the first time that wrong burgers were given. Ordered superfitzy special got small one instead even tho it was told at the counter that it's wrong order.

15/09/2026: Food is not as good as had been years ago. Overpriced for what you get. Burgers are tiny, a bit like cheap ones from the frozen section of a supermarket.

15/09/2026: I don't recommend visiting this place, which can hardly be called a bar. The place is a bit dirty and the floor is extremely slippery and dirty. The "large" burger I got was a joke (€12.80), and the taste was "awful" and I'm still burping. The fries were terrible, only the Coke saved me. I strongly advise against visiting, as it could cause food poisoning. Update: I got food poisoning from this, be careful

05/08/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ideal cheat meal - Pizza Max never disappoints! The pizza is always fresh, hot, and full of flavour. I asked for extra cheese, and they got it just right—the perfect amount without overdoing it. The dough is crispy and crunchy, not soggy or floppy, and the toppings stay in place instead of sliding off every slice, which makes a big difference. The fries were fresh, crispy, and you could tell they were cooked in clean oil, which isn’t always the case at fast food places. Delivery is always quick, and the driver is friendly and arrives with a smile every time. 10/10 – highly recommended! My whole family loves it, and this is exactly what you expect from a great pizza takeaway. Thank you!

13/07/2026: Awful, got chips and couldn't eat them went straight to the bin, seemed like they were stale and reheated. Never again.

15/05/2026: Ordered southern fried breast of chicken and chips. There was confusion over who takes the order and what the order entailed. I had to reiterate "SOUTHERN FRIED" when I heard someone say "roast" The chips were grand, a bit pale perhaps. The chicken was a big disappointment. Technically I got what I paid for but in Kildare we get breast with skin and bones. This was a flattened coated breast. The coating was nice. The girl who served me was engaging and pleasant to deal with and they had a few table and chairs by the window so that I could sit and wait.

04/09/2026: Food arrived after over 1.5 hrs. Calling the store and was advised it's on its way and max 10 mins. After 20 mins called again: we are busy. Arrived after another 40 mins. This is the second time when it happens. This time is the last time. After 30 years in the market it's getting worse

28/06/2026: The toilets are beyond a disgrace. I went in expecting a low grade sandwich, I got. Fine. The toilets are definitely a health and safety violation, I won’t go into the disgusting conditions I found within

26/06/2026: We ordered pulled pork and they brought us a ham and turkey sandwich. We ordered cheese Doritos and they brought us chili Doritos. We ordered three Fanta Grapes and one regular Fanta Orange and they brought us three Fanta Zero Orange. We asked for an extra poached egg for another sandwich and they gave us olives instead. I'm going to file a formal complaint, but you're going to refund me all the money because you didn't give us a single one.
