The best restaurants in Cork

18/08/2025: This Cafe/Restaurant needs to change to change its closing hours for a Saturday - it states closing at 6pm - last Saturday at 5.25pm we were told that it closes in 5 minutes making it 5.30pm closing.

20/08/2025: We placed a large, last-minute order late on the Sunday of the August bank holiday weekend. The food arrived hot and really tasty. It did take a little longer than the estimated time, but given the size of the order that was to be expected — and the staff were very polite and communicative about it. Really appreciated the service under pressure.

03/08/2025: It's typical awful kebab. Cheap meats, the cheapest vegetables. I'm so not recommending them.

28/07/2025: Hello to everyone reading my comment 😅. I was a bit skeptical before going to this place because of the recent reviews but my friend insisted on going here it was a great decision. I thought the place wouldn't be clean but surprisingly it was quite clean 🫧. The staff was super kind and nice. They asked us about the food quality. It was great. The place is doing great. I ordered a beef burger 🍔 it tasted really fresh my friends fish 🐠 was also very amazing. The food was served quickly. Idk 🤷🏻 why people are complaining, the place and food was awesome. Next time I will bring my kids as well . I eat my burger really quickly these were the only photos I could click 😭. Thanks to the staff for an amazing time ☺️.

08/08/2025: An absolute disgrace of a place! We arrived to a half full restaurant were seated at the bar and immediately told to remove ourselves from there by a woman named Joan, we sat at the allocated table and ordered our food from who we presume was the gentleman owner, mussels for me fillet steak for my better half! He told us to order plenty drinks while we waited! We had two each but shortly after ordering the second I realised there was something afoot (I’ve worked as a chef and restaurant manager for in excess of 35 years) so after an hour of waiting for a bowl of mussels and a fillet steak I order two pints of tap water and can you imagine the injection of gas simply incredible! Mussels front and centre and a rib eye steak!! An absolute shower of incompetent ignorant rude cowboys running this place, but I have to say the waitresses were absolutely lovely and they are at so welcoming, polite and courteous, I don’t know how they go into work in the the worst run most badly organised business I’ve ever had the misfortune to dine in every day, that’s not how this business actually is girls, it’s a profession that we pride ourselves on, Céad Míle Fáilte,totally lost on Jian and Co!, ye we’re so welcoming and professional especially given the circus ye work in and deserve better than those two clowns!!! DO NOT EAT HERE!! ITS THE FURTHEST THING FROM HOSPITALITY IVE EVER EXPERIENCED! Shame on you! I hope you don’t treat our tourists like this!! An absolute disgrace and no I didn’t eat or pay for the rib eye steak we didn’t order and my starter of mussels that took an hour to arrive!!! Get better you clowns!! I had to click one star to post but a minus option would be the only appropriate one deserved!

29/05/2025: We went in here with great expectations. But we were disappointed fairly quickly and didn't stay long. They have a sign on the door saying cash only as WiFi is not working for the card machine. Not a big problem. But when we went in we were able to connect to and use the WiFi no problem. If you don't want cards just say it and don't lie. The urinal in the gents toilet was leaking urine from the drain pipe over the floor. Not much of an atmosphere in the place. The antique decor was nice though. The beet wasn't bad.

26/08/2024: Busy spot in Schull harbour. Food is excellent. Really fresh fish and excellently cooked and presented. Owner is French and has a great no nonsense approach to his food. Highly recommend.

06/09/2025: Shocking 20 minutes wait twice today in drive tru!! once for breakfast and then for a nuggets and chips in the afternoon, never seen anything like it and not even busy, staff were very slow and clueless

06/09/2025: Order left on counter for 10 mins i had to go up to ask was it mine food was cold so got fresh ones no toys for the happy meal drinks poured 20 mins befor order was done not worth the money we paid

21/11/2024: Never coming here again. Ordered coffee and plain croissant and was told it would cost 7.80 euros! Croissant didn't even look fresh so I just had the coffee. When I mentioned it was expensive I was told it's because of the VAT. I've never paid that amount anywhere else in Midleton. Avoid at all costs!!!!

20/08/2025: Chicken tasted like it was the remnants of a bag of old frozen chicken. We had one bite and threw the rest away. Cute place, but stay away.
