03/06/2025: Room was clean but a little run down, the breakfast was very nice and the location on the river was great. Sat late in the bar watching the seals in the water. Very easy to find as it's on a main road. Motorbikes were safe in the carpark and can be locked to railings.

15/03/2025: Friendly staff. I regularly order a portion of fried noodles and a portion of mixed vegetables. Their vegetables have a better mix (more of different types of veggies) than the other Chinese restaurant in town, (I've ordered the same in the other place too).
17/02/2025: Very nice experience! People taking our orders were extremely kind, relaxed and understood what we wanted, the food tasted great and although portions seemed small I was full after my meal, would definitely visit again!

29/05/2025: We went in here with great expectations. But we were disappointed fairly quickly and didn't stay long.
They have a sign on the door saying cash only as WiFi is not working for the card machine. Not a big problem. But when we went in we were able to connect to and use the WiFi no problem. If you don't want cards just say it and don't lie.
The urinal in the gents toilet was leaking urine from the drain pipe over the floor.
Not much of an atmosphere in the place. The antique decor was nice though. The beet wasn't bad.

26/08/2024: Busy spot in Schull harbour. Food is excellent. Really fresh fish and excellently cooked and presented. Owner is French and has a great no nonsense approach to his food. Highly recommend.

20/09/2024: Phoned in an order and was told it would be 30mins. After 50mins of not hearing anything I called. Was told the driver will be leaving in 5mins. Again waited another 30 mins, I rang again. Was told the food had just left. I live 10mins from the place and the food arrives 40mins later and cold. Wont be ordering from here ever again. Very dissappointing service

07/07/2025: The food was disgusting. Literally spat the battered sausage out after taking a bite, my kids took one bite of pizza and wouldn’t touch it, and the kebab tasted like dog food. This may sound harsh, but it’s true. We threw the food in the bin. Total waste of money

14/10/2024: Disgusting. 2 time in a row getting awful food here. This time, sausages were frozen cold, and the toast had actual mould all over it. Got up and walked out and never going back. Worst place I've been too and when U consider the competition up the road in carrigaline etc surprised this place is still open. Tbh, based on the disgusting nonsense served today, I'll probably report them to FSA
25/09/2024: Really poor service all of the waiters were miserable and wouldn't let us order breakfast 20min before time or order lunch so we just had to wait and the food wasn't great unfortunately.
