29/07/2024: Fries not crispy. McDonald's style hamburger. They don't have beer, they don't have glasses. Poor hygiene of the rooms and bathroom.

29/06/2024: Had a pleasant experience visiting this arts center when I was last in skibbereen, the interior is more spacious than it looks with many floors for displaying installations and hosting artwork displays. I cannot say much for the exterior of the building it looks like a large rusty nail sticking out from the town, interesting choice of design!

19/10/2024: Very poor portion sizes for the price. Battered sausage was not much bigger than a cocktail sausage for €2.20 and a very small portion of curry sauce. Chips were okay but more like frozen oven chips than proper chippy chips. Disappointing.

27/09/2024: Great chipper with a fantastic seating area up stairs - really homely has a beautiful couch and radio. The man who served us was really nice and chatted away to me and my mam- even made the trek of bringing the food upstairs for us. Lovely man. Would recommend! Food is lovely.

24/09/2024: Really good food in a warm pub setting: the breaded hake I ordered was perhaps the best plate of fish and chips I’ve had in Ireland and my wife loved her dish of cottage pie. Great service, great atmosphere and good prices,

24/08/2024: Arrives au hasard dans ce pub comme il pleuvait, le lieu était bondé alors nous nous sommes installés à 3 au bar. Une soupe du jour excellente et deux salades. Accueil cordial et service rapide.

12/08/2024: Terrible experience came here today with family as part of our stay at the hotel where do I start we were seated and ordered at 6:10pm didn’t receive food until after 7pm when questioned staff told me we were going to have to wait another 20 minutes because they had 2 bigger tables and we weren’t the priority when food arrived it was cold flavourless and disgusting I would give zero stars if I could I payed 31 euro for a steak it comes out cold and when reported staff says “I’ll put it in the microwave for a minute “ we won’t be back highly advise everyone avoids this place for food

25/07/2024: Bad service waited 1 hour after starter, staff avoiding contact and didnt return with solution, total breakdown of service and communication, shame as it's a lovely space, went to Lennoxs for a bag of chips

15/07/2024: Hard to call this a “sports bar” when they aren’t playing the euros final, and refused to when I asked due to “poor internet”, despite the fact that youtube was playing perfectly fine on the tv. Woman behind the bar uninterested and probably lied so they could go home.

19/10/2024: It is in a beautiful location on the water. Delicious food and good service!

17/09/2024: One of the places on the Wild Atlantic Way with the most potential. Located on the waterfront and with an excellent location. This place could be a hot-spot for tourists or locals alike. It's can be a great place, unfortunately it's not used to full potential. With all the required amenities and an abundance of beauty, this place should be at tracking many more people.

15/10/2024: Stayed in the area and just got a meal deal offer for the kids. So much nicer then our local Apache in fairness.

10/10/2024: Try the mushroom soup We came here on a busy night and didn't have reservations, but they fit us in without much of a wait. I had the steak sandwich which was good. My wife had the mushroom soup and it was excellent. Service was very good.

05/10/2024: This very tasteful bar is located in the Commodore Hotel. High-quality furnishings, trained service staff, a friendly welcome, comfortable to feel good. The menu is clear, but everyone will find something here. I had the Chicken Kyiv, my partner had the curry. Both excellent. The price-performance ratio is right here. Gladly again. 27/09/2024: Ordered a chicken burger leaking with grease, the burger didn’t have cheese or bacon as advertised on the board. Chicken wasn’t crumbed either

23/07/2024: I ordered a chicken burger and a 12” pizza. Was told it would take 20 minutes, ended up taking just about an hour. My guess was that they forgot I ordered and was left there to get cold even though about 6 people came in during the hour. Also I ordered 3 cokes but only brought out 1 of them and when I confronted them, they said I had only ordered one coke. Would definitely recommend going somewhere else

12/10/2024: The 30 min waiting time isn't worth it and I had to give a 1 star review just to post this. Even the chips were terrible.

21/09/2024: Beef Amber fry is not recommended, chicken nuggets and chips aswell .... but Singapore fried rice was ok

24/10/2024: Always a friendly smile when you go in store and the food is always 10/10. I get it at least once a week and we are never disappointed 😊

06/06/2024: My family and I got take aways for years with this place, it was never amazing but it was ok and we wanted to support local. We got a takeaway over Christmas last and it was inedible , it was gross so we threw it out and I’m a firm believer in constructive criticism so I told Jojo, who runs the place and often delivers our food and she first said I must have got it from Carrigaline and then told me afterwards I should have taken photos or returned the food. It was the 27th of December, we waited about an hour and a half for the food, obviously they were under pressure but the way we were treated afterwards was appalling, we will never get food from there again. Really really bad customer service. I would really advise people not to support this place.

24/08/2024: The Restaurant has been closed for some time. Local artist Marcella Reardon has “re-purposed” the space as a “pop up gallery” open from 12-4 min Fri and 11-5 Sat until Monday 2nd Sept 2024 and she’s hosting an exhibition called “Dream Attic” in the old Café. Free and all welcome!
