19/01/2025: A good place to stay. View of water with the hotel is very eye catching. The hosts are very welcoming, specially the host Barbara is very kind and welcoming. Even provided us with a microwave to reheat our some food. They also had some vegan options too. One thing that bugs us is the delay in breakfast. But once came, the breakfast was delicious too. Overall the stay is good.

07/12/2024: I have gone here multiple times , food is lovely and good value ! Only have they gotten my order wrong so just double check your order to avoid disappointment.
20/09/2024: Phoned in an order and was told it would be 30mins. After 50mins of not hearing anything I called. Was told the driver will be leaving in 5mins. Again waited another 30 mins, I rang again. Was told the food had just left. I live 10mins from the place and the food arrives 40mins later and cold. Wont be ordering from here ever again. Very dissappointing service

I was given a side of chips I didn’t ask for and then charged for it. the bill was hand written and hard to read. they did take the charge off once I pointed out the discrepancy, but they clearly rely on this kind of shady practice and you should be warned. lovely town and people otherwise.
04/04/2025: Great food. Served very fast. Order steak and was cooked just like I asked for it. Jack and his wife were great. Will definitely stop for food if passing again.

01/01/2025: Very disappointed! Food arrived an hour and 20 minutes after ordering. And when food arrived it was barely Luke warm. Order had said it was out for delivery 20 mins before it arrived and no apology from delivery just a happy new year. Very disappointed with this!
26/10/2024: Spent a lot of my childhood and adulthood having fabulous food from this Chipper, will miss it, good luck to all the wonderful staff and thanks to everybody over the years

Numerous occasions where the delivery drivers have been very rude at the door, just had one of them start roaring and shouting at my parents house over "the potholes in the drive" which had been filled already. The fact people can behave like that and not face any consequences is a joke!
24/02/2025: Food is always lovely but portion sizes are gone very bad, I got a wrap and there was hardly any meat inside it it was flat and there was salad in it, hardly any cheese on pizza. Price we are paying these days for takeaway it should be decent.

25/03/2025: Absolute rip off . Chose a bacon cheese burger. The cheese was a teaspoon of cheese sauce, tastless, and the bacon was so miniscule you could have sold it to a vegitarian. Never again.
